Traveling cross-country and 2nd time back to this establishment. Our baseline for dim sum is Boston and Hong Kong. Here the dim sum was generously-portioned, fresh and very flavorful. Shiu mai (pork and shrimp dumplings) was different, tasted an unexpected tumeric/curry flavor component but was still very good. Har gow (shrimp dumplings) were steamed a bit too long (overdone, rice wrap falling apart). Our other dishes (beef balls, stuffed eggplants, beancurd-wrap vegetables) were more traditionally prepared and very good. Price was reasonable for the portion sizes. Service was attentive and plesant. Overall 4.5 stars. We would definitely come back!

We were told this was the best new Dim Sum in Houston. I must admit there were some really good items, and some items that were just so so. By far my favorite was the deep fried taro. Too many places in town makes it too greasy. These guys do it perfect. The bad - the banh cuong (sp?) the flat noodles stuffed with meat. Their noodles were just meh and their sweet soy sauce just didnt have any flavor. The remaining dim sum items were solid. And the service was actually much better than other places in town.

This is the worst dim sum restaurant i have ever seen. My family came to try out and support the new restaurant. But my family is very disappointed. The menu is odd. The picture (menu) does not show exactly what the food look like. It is very very very expensive. Thr food taste nasty. I wasted my money and time. I (we) will never never go to this restaurant again. I expect this restaurant will not survive very long. TRUST MY WORDS

Crown Seafood Restaurant is very spacious & clean restaurant. My son & I went during lunch time & had the dim sum. We order 10 dishes, steamed shrimp dumpling, steamed shrimp xiu mai, stuffed tofu, stuffed eggplant with black bean sauce, deep fried shrimp balls, deep fried crab claw, deep fried Taro puffs, Chinese broccoli with oyster sauce, XO stir fried rice noodle, & egg custards. Every dish was so fresh & delicious!

Exceptionally good dim sum; probably the best Ive had in Texas. The chicken feet are prepared correctly, as are most other dishes (the xiao long bao could use some improvement, and the lotus seed balls are a bit light on lotus). Dont expect this place to compete with Hong Kong or San Francisco restaurants, but well worth a try.

Weve come here multiple times for lunch and dinner and its pretty consistent. Their dim sum is great (list-style vs. cart style) and seafood choices for dinner can be overwhelming. Definitely take advantage of the two lobster special and then add more seafood as needed. This is a go to place for us for seafood and dim sum.

Great place to eat at with your family for some weekend Dim sum. The environment here is excellent, the shinny chandeliers really caught our attention. The Dim Sum as well as the dinner entrees here are legit, and they have the $16.99 lobster deal!!! What else could you ask for? I would definitely come back for another visit.

Clean and spacious layout. We went for dim sum. They were tasty. Then, we ordered crab clay pot clear noodle. The whole crab in clay pot was very tasty, but we could finish it nicely if they provided the customer with a crab cracker.

Great place for basic Dim Sum items and never a wait. Most dishes are good, and some are so so. Like the big space and quick service. Prices are comparable to Fungs and other similar establishments depending on what you order.

We went there for dim sum on Sat. . Dim sum not that good compare to other Dim Sum restaurant in Bellaire area. Front person has a very bad attitude, and waiter was throwing places on your face.. Never never come back...

For a core Dim Sum experience youd be hard pressed to find a better place in Houston. This place has replaced my goto DS Spot. I had that Ratatouille moment here with the Harkao.

Packed during weekend brunch hour because of their new/clean dining area and excellent dim-sum, this place actually serves yummy, authentic family-style Cantonese entries as well.

Dim sum is good but dishes with the light brown sauce are bland. Be prepared to spice things up yourself. In fact the best thing about this seafood restaurant is the beef dishes

The place looks clean and pretty. Its downside is that its way too popular for its own good, waits can be extremely long. Food is good here. Everything we ordered was on point.

Wow, this place is awesome. Came here for a graduation party and the seafood is great. We love the Peking Duck, the lobster, and all the dishes. The price is very reasonable.

Big busy family-style joint with/great entrees & you order dim sum to get exactly what you want instead of picking from a first-come first-serve rolling cart-style setup.

Meh. Pretty bland food. Its new enough that there probably isnt roaches. I want to vomit and do an enema and forget my experience there.

The hostesses need more training. They cant do the seating fairly, not helpful in anyway, not mention smiling is rare.
