Good Afternoon, Im writing this email with major concern on how Olive Garden hires and screens there employees?? With major concerns of nightly or daily Managers! I visited a Olive Garden Restaurant. ( 5439 W Loop 1604 N, San Antonio, TX 78254) on Friday July 15, 2017 between 7:30 pm and 9:45 pm I was very shocked to see the type of behavior that the management was allowing!! First, there was a waiting line for about 30 mins. and during that time, customers were ordering Alcoholic beverages from the bar, and then walking out into the parking lot drinking them, or standing outside of the front door, still outside of Olive Garden drinking and getting in the way of other guest trying to get inside!! I have pictures as well!!! Then, when I went inside to the Bar area, there are small children (Minors) sitting at the Bar eating!!! A HUGE No Go!!! I could only imagine if a ABC Agent would have walked in and seen that, what type of ON THE SPOT Fines Olive Garden would have recieved!! Not to mention that there was an adult at the Bar that clearly should have been CUT OFF by the Bartender, and those children were now subjected to his obnoxious behavior!! Sounds like a potential Lawsuit to me!! So, I asked to speak with the Manager who was absolutely no help and told me that Olive Gardens policy is that they can seat children anywhere that they want!! I then tried to explain to her that whenever Olive Gardens policy is, it doesnt supersede the State Law when it comes to children sitting at a Bar, and Guest drinking outside of the establishment!!!! I then politely asked her, for her name and or employee identification # and she refused to give it to me stating that she doesnt have to give customers that information!!! I said ok, Ill just contact corporate, and well see what they have to say about this Horrible representation of Good Restaurant!!!! A copy of this will also be forwarded to the Daran Incorporation..

I have had 2 very bad experiences at this location. I reached out after my 1st bad experience. The new GM kindly emailed me back apologizing. She also sent me a gift card. So a few weeks later we decided to give it another try. Well 2nd experience was worse than the first. They werent busy. They sat us in the back room. There was one other table finishing up, then there was us. The server in that area, apparently didnt want any other tables. That back room was just a hangout for the other servers. Hugging on each other, playing on their phones ect.. Yet not one of like the 8 could even greet us. WOW! It took 18 mins to get greeted. Food was not even good. We spoke to the MOD she tried making up BS excuses. Just be real lady and own it. Needless to say we are very disappointed. Left the remainder of our gift card to the server. We will never be going back to Olive Garden again. I called the GM the next day to let her know about our 2nd visit. If that was my store,I would like to know what is happening when I wasnt around. I gave a brief explanation the a different manager on the phone. He told me the GM would be in contact. Apparently my business doesnt matter. Good job OG you lost customers and I will be telling others about our experience.

I order food to go for my family and it unfortunately the meal was completely wrong! However, I called and the manager immediately apologized and offered to remake our food on another day (it was already late) when it was convenient for us. I was amazed at the level of care and attention she took to make sure we had a great customer experience. I dont normally leave reviews but this made me forever a fan of this olive garden. They own up to their mistakes and make it right. I will say this is probably the first "mistake" they have made with my food in the 2 years I have been coming here. Great job!!!!! Will be back!

Went on a Friday evening they were little busy food/service were fine , however my entrée was fairly mediocre. I am a former server and so at end of the meal I tipped $12 on the total of $33, I paid the tip in cash and signed only my name to the credit, card receipt. Imagine my surprise when I saw a couple of days later that someone added an additional $12 added to the blank signed credit card receipt I left. Guess I am just dumb for not putting 0.00 as the tip as I left it in cash. Management was very apologetic and resolved the issue to my satisfaction, but I still wont be going back.

Great facility, staff, cooks, food, and overall experience. My wife and I dined in with our toddler, and the staff was more than accommodating. Our drinks were refilled before we could ask, our daughter was given plenty of childrens entertainment, our food was served promptly and as ordered, and everyone was very personable and courteous. Often times you get a waiter/waitress who is either too social or too reserved. Our waitress struck the perfect balance of being present when she was needed and socializing, without becoming a nuisance. We will definitely be back soon for another enjoyable meal.

We had a big party and we got sat at a reasonable time. Our three waiters were cool and attentive. Everyone got our meals on time except my brother and i. They forgot to put in the order. We waited for 50 min. We finally got our meal so we just took it to go. The GM was nice. She came and apologized and discounted our food. My food wasnt as great as the olive garden at ingram. But overall they were nice and we didnt give them a hard time. Just a little more communication with each other because they kept getting mixed up with our foods and drinks.

I dont know what all the others are complaining about but MY service was prompt, attentive, courteous, bubbly, and empathic. My server merits promotion and the busser was kind as well. Jackie was my server get her if you can, and Hugo was the great busser. Stupendous service, you dont get this caliber of service often so, A++++++++++ for Jackie and Hugo, Please promote these two because it would be a disservice not to, and they make the difference between a one-visit customer or a repeat customer. Treat them well.

Yesterday was our 3rd visit to the Olive Garden on Culebra....and it was the worst visit yet. The bread sticks were stale, my husband found a bone in his chicken and the fettuccine alfredo that ordered, the noodles were not cooked. The waitress was very nice and promptly brought a new plate for me, the manager gave us a 25% discount. They definitely went out of their way to correct the situation. However, after 3 times of visiting and our dinner was sub-par, we will not be returning to this location.

Its chain type Italian food. Itusually decent though and I have one favorite dish here that I can get nowhere else, so I go. Its usually busy and they spread their wait staff too thin. They are always friendly but you end up waiting on service sometimes more than is acceptable because they are juggling so many tables. Bottom line, its good for what it is but if you have a Mom and Pop type Italian restaurant or even a Carrabas near you, go there instead.
