My husband and I have only been Rowlett residents for a few months now. Whenever we move we always try out all the local Chinese food places to find the one we like. This place was recommended to us first by a neighbor. After our first time trying it we determined there was no need to try any other places. The service was great the food was delivered on time and was hot, fresh and tasted fantastic. The sesame chicken is the best I have ever had, and the lo mein is also great. The egg rolls are beyond amazing, they use nutmeg in them which I have only found at one other Chinese food place and adds such a great and unique twist to the standard egg roll. If you live in Rowlett and are looking for a great Chinese food place, this is it!!!

I love this establishment. Shiny Wok has friendly employees and amazing food.Their Wonton soup is the best I have ever had at any other Chinese restaurant. Many other places cant even get something as simple as soup right! Although I have only tried a few meals they have all tasted pretty good. And the crab Rangoons are a must-try! Shiny Wok has mastered the cuisine business! Highly recommend.

What food we did get was good. Took over an hour to get here. Was missing egg rolls, fried rice and plastic ware and fortune cookies. Called back to make them aware of the situation. She told me she would send it back out to us, needless to say we never got it

Food is tasty. Typically, we order the chicken and/or shrimp fried rice. The food is reasonable priced. We dont eat out much but when we are looking for a change, this is one of our go-to local places.

Had their jasmine boba tea on multiple occasions and despite the tea tasting good the boba came lumped in very large clumps at the bottom of the drink making it virtually impossible to consume.
