Walking in, you pass a gorgeous patio set up, with swinging love seat padded wicker chairs. The ambiance on the inside has dimmed lights and is beautifully decorated. We were greeted by the hostess and I was told happy birthday and we were escorted to our chairs. My waiters name was Daniel I believe, and I wish Id gotten our bussers name. Both were incredible. Both were personable, and Daniel was extremely knowledgeable about the menu. I have an autoimmune disease, and Daniel was able to help me navigate through the gluten free menu and make suggestions. I told him I wanted fish or steak, but I was melodramatic in saying that I was about to die of hunger. He told me how many ounces were in each and highly recommended the Ribeye, which was 16 oz (pre cooked). I ended up eating the entire thing - I told yall I was hungry! It was cooked to perfection and tasted incredible. Now for the prices: anyone who complains about it being over priced obviously hasnt had farm-to-table before. I only get grass fed, free range, wild caught, etc. because I see healthy, non-hormone injected, food as my preventative medicine (I nearly died a few years ago so I take what I consume very seriously). This place should definitely be considered an special-occasion place, albeit if I had the finances and lived closer to it, Id eat there more often. Its special, and youre not only paying for the food, but the ambiance that Harvest has been able to foster. We were the rowdy table, and they had their hands full. My family is known for humor and sarcasm, and they fit right in with us and helped us have an even better time. Also, our busser was young and worked extremely hard. He did a great job clearing our plates as they were finished. All in all, 5 out of 5. Ive already recommended it, dreamt about going back, and am now posting about it.

I never take the time to write reviews and reading them can sometimes be a joke. With that said, I would absolutely like to take the time to write a glowing review of this establishment. Beautiful atmosphere and lighting, super friendly staff and a menu to die for. Let me just say that I would happily make the commute any day of the week to eat here. I have to wait a week before I can go back so I keep staring at the menu online hoping something will magically appear in front of me. The grapefruit tequila drink I ordered was amazing. So amazing that I had to have two. With that I had half of a turkey sandwich with a kale salad. That was the best dang turkey sandwich Ive ever had in my entire life. I swear Ill never be able to eat another anywhere else again. Jalapeno jelly? YES PLEASE! The beets were divine. The potato chips were thin, crispy and addicting. Gaw, and the fries! Eat them with the buttermilk ranch. Just do it. Itll set you free. I was lucky enough to be having lunch with my cutie pie niece and she graciously let me taste her hot chicken sandwich. She obviously loves me tremendously because I would not have shared that sandwich with anyone. Im from Texas. Im from a countrified family who knows how to fry up a bird, HOWEVER, that was the most delicious chicken Ive ever been blessed enough to put in my pie hole and get me started on the deviled eggs! I love the farm to table concept and pretty much everything else in between. I cannot wait to go back. Please open a location in Wylie. Please.

Great atmosphere, people, and of course the Food. Live music at the bar filled the venue with some relaxing tunes for a date night. Started with a Deviled Egg app made with TX pecans, pickled mustard seeds and onions on top. Amazing. Drinks. - Herman Marshal Rye Old Fashioned and house Chardonnay. Would of ordered 2 more if I wasnt driving. And then the course - Ribeye, local fed 16 ounce beauty. Cooked to perfection. Puts up a fight with any of the big steakhouses in DFW. Too much to finish and made for a great breakfast. Everything about this place was top notch, and its a staple for the downtown McKinney area. Just moved here and many more good experiences Im sure down the road!

Just popped in for dinner after a long week and lots of travel. The staff overheard us say it was our 1st wedding anniversary for the 35th time! The food was beyond excellent: fresh ingredients, perfect preparation, NO signature spice (you know, the one that some chefs overuse and it overwhelms the other flavors). Had the Crispy Ribs, Pork Loin, Chicken Fried Steak. Oh yes Mom: had the spinach salad with mozzarella and those incredible smokey sweet pecans!! And of course dessert. Lemon blueberry icebox pie and Peach Brown Betty. On to 35 more years of marriage. With meals like this to look forward to, who wouldnt. And ask for Nick, unless hes off seeing the world....

While I have heard that the food is delicious, I myself have not tasted it. This review is for the customer service and management. My father recently had a small wedding reception dinner at their location. I am from out of state and could not attend. Ahead of time, the managers worked with me to figure out a way that I could pay for the meal and surprise him and they pulled if off flawlessly. They let me purchase a gift card ahead of time, then I sent them a PDF and asked that they replace the bill with the PDF. They were great and I would not hesitate to recommend any sort of special event with management that works that hard to please a customer in Florida.

Excellent food at Harvest, and service was amazing. I would recommend a dish, but they change it seasonally, based on what local farmers and providers have on hand. This was the second time we’ve been there, and the deviled eggs were outstanding. Really enjoyed the flat iron steak; the pickled cauliflower and mashed potatoes were so distinctive. Kudos on the hamburger, too, with a mix of chuck, brisket, and short rib. They were kind enough to give us free desserts for our anniversary celebration - definitely try their chocolate pudding cake… if they still have it! We could have eaten multiple servings of that. Highly recommend this place.

The restaurant has very cool decor. Hip and chic!! I absolutely loved the ambience. So if I have to rate just the ambience it will be 5 stars. But food quality was very ordinary. Having had great farm to table restaurant food experiences in LA, I was disappointed at Harvest. I am a vegetarian and tried the green tomato sandwich. The bread, flavor of tomato, fries everything tasted very ordinary. I also got the beet salad, which was good but not delicious!!! When I go to farm to table concept restaurant I look for flavors bursting in your mouth. Hope to go back for a better food experience at Harvest!!

Great atmosphere and the food portions are large enough to split! What a beautiful place to sit / here live music / and just enjoy a nice night out. If you havent experienced downtown McKinney this is definitely a great place to come, walk around, experience a nice downtown center with true history. I loved how eclectic the restaurant felt. Everything is open and very clean - true fresh farm to market to restaurant :-).

So delicious! We love the seasonal fare. The atmosphere is great for making date night feel special. There is a room with a large tackle tucked away on the side that is perfect for girls night out. The staff is great at answering questions and speaking about the food in a way that will make you wish you could eat more than one meal at a sitting. The crispy cauliflower appetizer is definitely one to try.
