I dont know how they are still open. I guess because they have a playground kids can play on, it brings income from parents having no choice but to eat, but this place is disgusting. We walked in and the floors were covered in litter including food waste. The clerk at the counter was not nice, but in more of a "Id prefer not to be here today, please hurry and leave" attitude. You could tell by how often she asked you if that was all you wanted. The soda fountains are covered in dust, the ice shoots are gross and covered in a scale and they were out of ice. Multiple sodas were low on syrup, and no one seemed to care. Bathrooms are not clean and it smelled like more of a concert bathroom than a restraunt. Also, i dont know if we were given a larger drink on accident, but if not then the price difference between a large and small for the difference is insane. Food was good for the price, but I wont be back.

Food is always good; however, you have a major problem with servicing customers in a timely manner, especially on Tuesday nights when hamburgers are half price. Tonight only 1 person working counter and kitchen was scrambling. Counter person was Awesome throughout the 1.5 hours there. The shift manager was doing her best and also awesome; however, your cooks or cook could not handle volume. Please address....We love your operation; however, you have major problems when you get "slammed". Just some thoughts.. Good luck..

Tasty burgers and chicken. Nuggets (called flashers) are made of whole white meat, not processed junk. There is a smaller indoor seating area with four long picnic tables and a few smaller tables, and a large outdoor patio with a roof next to the large outdoor kids playing area that is fenced in. There are a couple of small artificial hills for the kids to run/roll on, and the restaurant sign doubles as a play house/slide for the kids. The kids like it when a train comes by. People also have birthday parties here.

Very fresh and tasty burgers (and other sandwiches, too), fresh-cut fries, and a variety drinks (including delicious shakes). Their "fry sauce" is great on either sandwiches or fries. This location is frequently busy, and tables dont seem to be cleared as quickly as they could. The acoustics dont help, and that makes for a noisy environment. But if you pick a quiet time, you cant beat the food and prices.

Great food and fun place for kids. The three dipping sauces or fries or burgers will beckon you to return. Also go for the "skinny" version which is lettuce instead of buns for burgers, it tasted so much better. As well, the beer on-tap pairs well with everything offered. There is also a big enough play park, jungle gym area for kids to play and socialize. Awesome way to spend an early summer evening.

Love the taste of their burgers and turkey burgers, really fresh ingredients. The fry sauces are pretty good, but Id personally prefer a steak fry over the thin extra oily ones. Love that they target family fun with cool locations and outside activity for kiddos. Shakes are delicious too. Noisy inside area hard to have a conversation at your own table, forcing you to get out (probably by design) ;)

Poor value, marginal food! Pulled into drive thru "Welcome BACK to Hat Creek!" Back? Got a Big Hat, fries and Coke, over $10. Okay I get it, the gouge. Nice worker handed over my bag and I was stunned how light it was. I literally had to check to see if anything was in it. Got home, so disappointed. Hint: from there head west look for red building on the left. You wont be disappointed.

Great playground for the kids, not bad burgers, but not all that great burgers. Could all use some flavor, maybe jalapeno ketchup as a condiment option. With all the burger places out there, I would think they would want to stand out with their food. Great staff, they are always friendly and the place is well done, all their locations are well done.

I love this place so much!! The burgers are great. They also have three different sauces the hat sauce, the happy sauce, & the Idaho fry sauce. The playground is awesome it is obviously built from scratch! I had the dirt and worms milkshake and also the peanut butter chocolate milkshake. This is an awesome family place.

Way over priced for what they are $8 for a burger smaller then a whataburger and that didnt include the old soggy fries and the drink. Paid $30 for 3 burgers, 3 fires, and 3 drinks. One of each being a kids sized. Not to mention the wait. Ridiculous never eattting there again and I dont recommend it!

Kid-friendly which is a plus however the food is horrible. Ive eaten there two or three times now and the burgers are always overcooked dry and salty. You can tell pre-packaged meat. Very overpriced for what you get and the fries and chicken strips are usually over cooked

I really appreciate Hat Creek family environment. We regularly invite our friends and families to gather here. Kids eat and have the opportunity to enjoy the outdoor play area while the parents relax and catch with with friends. Food, shakes, and drink choice great.

I went to try th new hamburger place. I really was impressed with the gentleman who took my order, he was about 50 or so. The food was excellent and the place was really neat inside. I can tell they really care about the customers and the food. Will be going back.

The service was unsat. Recieved our Diet Coke with hardly any ice and the drink tasting like water trash. Upon returning home, opened the bag and to find my burger just thrown in like no one cares of their service. Last time eating at this location horrible

Worst ever. They advertise dollar beer. But yet they cut you off. And do t even sell you beer at full cost. False advertisement. No rules. Cut our table off and there was 5 people at our table. Not going back. Bad management.

A glorified McDonalds burger. Dont waste your time or money. If youd like a delicious, customizable, juicy burger in Round Rock, go with Mighty Fine or Five Guys. However, I have heard the sauerkraut burger is good.

So happy Hat Creek is in Round Rock! This is a very family friendly spot with a great outdoor play and eating area. The food is tasty, like all Hat Creeks! The bun-less turkey burger with avocado is my fav.

we did not enjoy our meals. the burgers were good & hot. fries are really weird & greasy, i liked how they were cut not how they were cooked. the dinning area was really dirty.
