I took my family to eat after attending church as we have done several times. Today however we had extraordinarily bad service. From the waitress that appeared to be in a bad mood and could not even refill a water after it was requested twice to the angry chef. I ordered an extra fried rice and when I was only given one order and I asked for the extra order, the chef became upset with me. I was told that he would not help and became argumentative. I was then told not to come back. I later asked for the owner so that I may explain and was then what I feel attacked again by the chef (The Owner). This was very disheartening to my family as well as the other couple that was seated at the table as well. In closing, I would not recommend this restaurant to any one that I know. I was not even offered any accommodation or apology. I was just told to not come back! Very embarrassing to me and my family. The couple that was seated at the other end stated it was their first time there and that they would not be returning either.

I really love this place! I like that while it serves Hibachi it is still a little different from every other place in town. The owner is from Japan and she was even our chef last night! The food was great! We got the dinner set up which comes with soup, salad (house or ginger dressing) and edamame! the owner was really nice and even talked with us about Japan while she cooked. For dessert we had the mochi ice-cream which took me back to being a teenager eating mochi ice cream in Japan. I love that the selection is a bit more authentic, I feel like all the Japanese restaurants in Lubbock have nearly identical menus. Atmosphere is really cute and the waitress was really nice as well!

Everything is made to order at your hibachi grill style table, each table seating 6 people. Each chef reviews your order before anything goes on the grill. The chef will put oil on the grill and ignite it, perform knife and other tricks. Very fun to watch A generous amount of fried rice is served before the main course (try to save some for your meat!) as well as a bowl of clear Japanese broth. We had two orders of crab rangoons, yakinichi thin sliced steak and calpico (Japanese citrus soft drink). Absolutely sensational flavor! Will definitely be returning to this restaurant :)

This place is delicious and exciting! Ive been a long time fan of Tokyos, but believe it or not, Ive changed my colors! Its great food, and has nice, big shrimp! (my favorite!) The prices are a bit high compared to Tokyos, but the portions are so big, I easily split an order with my husband! Also, my kids (ages 7 and 5) can split one dish off the kids menu, and they love the chicken. Only downside is that it sometimes takes awhile for the chefs to get to your table, but if you ask me, its worth the wait.

The scallops and fried rice are amazing, as well as the Wagyu steak when available. I will admit I have not tried any of the other Hibachi places in Lubbock because we tried this one first and fell in love, but I have been to a number of them in the Houston area and this one beats them all. Im not sure I could convince my wife to go anywhere else on her birthdays.

I love this place. Had it for the first time last night and it was amazing. The staff was so friendly. My date and I got a couples dinner, and for $39.99 we got beef, chicken, shrimp, friend rice, veggies, soup, and a salad. It was alot of food and it was amazing!!! Best food in Lubbock!!!
