So yesterday September 19, 2016 my family and I went there to eat. First off let me say the country white boy and the young black girl were awesome but the rest of the staff was horrible. We ordered almost $60 worth of food to get burnt fried pickles and greasy fries plus chicken. The store was in bad shape from sticky floors to dirty tables and even sticky condiments plus it was hot in the restaurant. My wife asked for fresh ketchup packets since the ones were stuck together and the manager chick got an attitude when my wife complained about the condition of the store where there were no other customers. After sitting down I observed the manager, 2 other females and the male cook coming in and out the back door ( I guess smoking ) but not once did they wash their hands before touching food. At one point the young black girl was having to do it all herself while the others played outside and when she asked for help they told her she can handle it. The so called manager kept looking our way and whispering to the other employees then laughing. My wife took many pictures of the nastiness and will be contacting someone in charge and even the health department. I will not be going back ever again.

i decided to write a review because it seems everyone wants to say bad not enough people want to say good. i guess thats the society we live in now everyone wants to be negative. ive been going to this store for about 5+ years. They have their ups and downs with employees its obvious, but seems to be a norm in that biz. They have a core of great employees. i made this comment because last customer dumped them after 7 years for 1 mistake, come on!!! anyway everything was great today. they were extremely busy it was a sunday lunch, dining room was packed and driver thru had cars all around the building but moving quickly. I chose to come inside to hit the bathroom but it allowed me to see how all the employees were trying extra hard to make everyone happy. JJ went out of his way to make sure i was taken care of. And debra was fabulous! Tenders and Tea were great as always. im glad chicken express is in rockwall why go anywhere else -- best tenders & best tea in the city its discounted on tea tuesday.

Will never go back! Went thru got a number 7. Got home n the gravy, nothing but water no pepper r anything. Called they told me to come back n get the gravy.. What??? It was 8 pm put my dinner on plates n go get gravy the my chicken would be cold when I got back. The manager said she would replace it just come back next time. Went back today n they said they would only give me gravy. That they would hv the own to call me and I would hv to come right on in. What???? Spoke to three people. Said I would call the franchise. She then tried to tell me there was no franchise just the owner.. Really? You think im that stupid? They guy pays yearly for the advertisement and the name to be up there... Will never go back!!!!!!!

Ive been coming here for 7+ years and the customer service today was horrible. When I walked in there were two people play fighting in the back. We waited a good two mins for someone to put in my order and then he looked at me as if I was crazy when I ordered. When my order came up it was wrong. I explained what I ordered and guessing it was the manager looked at the screen and gave me a total go to hell look and said well this is what you oredered. I explained no I didnt. She pretty much got pissed. Ive never had such a horrible experience at this location. I cant say Ill ever go back. I guess canes will get my business now.

This Chicken Express has horrible customer service...the employees would rather play than take care of guest. Truely sad they used to be really friendly now they give you drinks with lid half off with soda pouring down the side and when you say something they get offended and slam the door in your face. Needless to say after I called to speak with a manager and she yelled at me I wont be back to Chicken Express. If you treat your customers horrible they wont come back and eventually you wont be able to keep your doors open. Customer Service goes a long way and that should be a part of their training!

Drove past two chicken places, as usual, to get there. Got behind a lady who must have been catering a party but no biggie cause Im ordering a dozen livers. I got time cause they always cook em fresh. Waited for ever. Got home and just dumped the old crusty pieces of crap in the trash. Geez, you had 15 minutes. And you sent me home with something I wouldnt even offer to the dog. Will not be back...but at least now I feel better. The okra was good and fresh. Livers sucked! Really Bad!

Every time we go to this chicken express in Rockwall, at least one thing is messed up. Almost every time, the gravy is watery. Tonight, they gave us unsweetened tea when we clearly asked for sweet. Its aggravating to have to leave the house again once weve already gotten home. We shouldnt have to check every single thing before leaving because the people who work there are incompetent and cant differentiate between sweet and unsweet. I would NOT recommend this establishment to anyone.

Perhaps one of the most friendliest and carefree environments to eat in. I eat here almost daily, eat the same thing, and they couldnt be more welcoming and kind. Friendly and playful staff, and overall just great fast food. I get the #2 Combo (7 tenders, fries, mini poppers) and a family popper. Sometimes a large tea, too. The only thing that needs work are the VIP rewards, and thats a corporate issue, not one of this franchise. Love you guys! Awesome food!

Never going back! They literally try to talk you out of ordering whats on the menu because theyre not prepared so itll take extra time. Not friendly at all and a huge wait time just to get my order wrong twice in a row! If that dirty place has a manager theyre clearly incompetent and need to be fired immediately. If I was the owner of Chicken Express I would shut that place down, fire everyone and train all new staff.

My school in Royse City (Shekinah) received the best service for our very large order. Teachers were working late and we wanted good food kinda fast. CRYSTAL took our order and made sure everything was perfect! Teachers get a discount at Chricken Express. The drive was worth it. The food was still fresh tasting and hot when it arrived!! When theres a special for a specific day, dont tell me you have to mark up the price to the original price before honoring a military discount! What is that? Ive never heard of that nonsense before. Guess Ill visit Canes in the future. They dont try to screw our Military Men and Women. Thanks for nothing Chicken Express in Rockwall, Texas!
