Bf & I had a date night here; its quite a bit farther than the usual places we dine in the Dallas area but it was definitely worth the drive! Inzo is located in a charming (and newly developed?) downtown area; you cant miss the restaurant, they have string light bulbs strung across the outdoor patio to give it an inviting feeling. There was no wait as we were seated inside, the table cloth is a bit cheesy but whatever, wasnt a big deal. I had a deliciously refreshing glass of Riesling while we enjoyed the prosciutto & mozzarella appetizer. I went ahead and order the shrimp scampi which was AWESOME! It wasnt ridiculously buttery but the noodles were cooked just right and a few large shrimp tails topped the dish, it was garlicy (just as I like it) and had a wonderful acidic lemon flavor to it, as well. YUM! Bf had some sort of pizza which he loved, hes not a big fan of Italian food and less of a fan for tomato sauce so it was awesome to see some sauce-less pizzas on the menu. His pizza was also great, I finished it off the next day, haha. To end our meal, we split a slice of tiramisu. Service was wonderful and I know well be back for more, I just wish we lived closer so I could invite my friends & family for dinner!

Service: Granted our waiter was brand new, he had the nerve to ask us if we wanted parmesan after our party had eaten 3/4 our our entrees (obviously we said no, and he should have never asked in the first place). Food Quality: Terrible, each member of our party agreed that we were 100% positive our entrees were prepared from frozen ingredients. Not worth $12-$14 per entree. The only thing that all of our party agreed on being good was the bread served before our entree. Price: As noted above, way over priced for poor quality of food (not proven frozen, results based on taste and experience with frozen food). Ambiance: Not cohesive, scattered items all over the restuaraunt, colors didnt blend as well. It seemed a bit dusty as well. Reason for giving only 1 star: I usually dont give 1 star, but our expirience at Inzos was terrible all around. Poor quality of food, sketchy service, and way over-priced. By far the worst "italian" food for such prices that we have ever had (on behalf of our party).

Go somewhere else. Service was terrible, not because they didnt bring us refills or anything like that. Service was terrible because of how they treated us. Walked in, no one greeted us. After 5 minutes of waiting, someone (a leaving customer) helped us by getting someones attention. The girl who didnt introduce herself walked over and did not even apologize. She sat us down and the entire time was not friendly at all. We were not given silverware and had to request it. Everytime we would look up to try and find her she was always on her phone or gossiping. Suddenly without warning or introduction, our server changed. Tonight I was excited to try this restaurant out for the very first time. We had heard great things from friends and so we left the kids with the grandparents. What a waste of alone time with my husband. I will not be back!

First time eating inzo tonight. We did delivery. A new York calzone for my friend. Chicken parmigiano for me. Mine was bland. Just very bland. I felt as if I needed to add salt to everybite just to make it through. She didnt seem too into her meal either after a comment about there being an abnoxious amount of cheese most of it ended up garbage as well. However Im giving it 3 stars based on one little thing the one diamond in the rough gave this review 2 more stars than it would not have gotten had we not found this gem. NUTELLA CHEESECAKE! I know it sounds sketchy and a little intimidating but Im here to tell you that its far more amazing than I ever thought it could be. Its life changing to say the least so... if you feel the need to go Atleast get the cheesecake you have to.

Service and food were bad on April 26 2017. My husband and I took some colleague from work for dinner in this restaurant. First the waiter came and asked what for drinks and we start saying and he left to attend another table and came back when we called him. Then I ordered the Norwegian grilled salmon and it was beyond over cooked (dry and tasted like cartón board), my husband order a veal and it was overlooked and hard that almost needed a steak knife. The colleague ordered the ravioli and said she has had betters (being polite). So not good service nor food.

I worked there briefly in 2013. The owners told me to only pour house wine during the week, even if a customer ordered a more expensive glass of wine, because it was slower and the chances of three other people ordering that wine were unlikely and they didnt want to waste the rest of the bottle. They said the customer "wouldnt know the difference anyway" I responded with, "isnt the pretty unethical?" Before my next shift they called and fired me because Im "shy".

So pleased to have discovered a great delivery restaurant out here!! Scampi appetizer is best Ive had!! Pizza is spectacular! Panini fantastic!! We have only ordered twice but twice in 3 days and food has been over the top excellent!! This evening the delivery time was quoted as being an hour and a half and we were fine with that - its that good. They delivered within an hour....hot and delicious. We are absolutely sold on Inzos!!

We went to Inzo for our anniversary. It was very busy when we arrived but were seated right away. The food was great. Our server was very personable and checked on us frequently. The cook wrote Happy "10th" Anniversary on our dessert plate. Other staff came over and wished us a happy anniversary. We had a great time and will be back. Thanks Tara and the Inzo staff for a great night.

I love Roanoke simply because the food. Inzo is the only place I will get Italian. I dont mind waiting because the food is always high quality. I will say they are a tad bit understaffed at times but they move quickly and with smiles. They have staff with personality which is awesome. Ive never drank here but they seem to have a very wide selection of wine and other spirits.

Had no idea this place was Italian from the outside, walked in, and the waiter tells me that they make their pasta fresh, so I decided to try it out. I had the ham & mushroom ravioli, except there was no ham or mushroom in the ravioli. It was served on toped of the obviously frozen ravioli. Just too expensive when Patrizios is so close. Avoid if you can.

Lots of seats open at 7pm on a busy Saturday night. Its probably because its OK. Nothing wrong with it but nothing special. I ordered a made to order pasta dish, buy one of the ingredients was missing. One of the ingredients was two relatively small meatballs--better order extra if you go that route. Service alright, not special, but fitting with the price.

I order from here frequently. Most times Ive ordered, its been great. Tonight I had veal marsala and it was very oily and it was a pretty small piece of veal. It was not the bed thing Ive had there. I also got the zucchini fritters and those never disappoint. Next time Ill go back to my chicken pesto pasta or a pizza/calzone. Those are always good.
