Usually I always order from Bawarchi, because the quality is always high and the dishes are extremely palatable and tasty. However this night I was really hungry , and I took my chances to order from Chameli using UberEats. And I was left deeply disappointed , angry and my hunger - unappeased. What I ordered was a tasty vegetable Biryani, but what I got was cold turmeric rice overloaded with giant partially cooked partially peeled carrots , giant florets of Cauliflower, Choley (chick peas) , huge chunks of boiled Potatoes all mixed together to form an unappealing unappetizing mixture of sticky mess. ( See pics) Sad part was they didnt provide even raita/mirchi ka salan, and not even spoon/knife . Next time , Im going back to Bawarchi/ Rajulas kitchen.

If youre getting your food delivered, try not to order from this place. Used Grubhub to order from here twice. And theyre late both times. This time its been over an hour. And they expect you to order at least $35 worth of food, and pay $5 delivery fee, and send people out for delivery that doesnt understand direction, and when you try to give them the direction, they say they dont know if they can do it, but they will try. $48 total bill, and its been over 2 hours since placing the order. If I could give a negative start review, Id do that. Do not consider them as one of the restaurant for your food delivery service. Their food is good, but delivery service is a joke.

I tried telling them the same thing over and over again but they were not willing to help. The gave me the nihari but it was so little and I was comparing it to the biryani because that was 3 times the size. The guy acted like he couldnt hear me but he understood me fine and I had to constantly repeat myself and at the end he wasnt willing to help me. I really felt disappointed. And the sad part was that he was the manager and owned that place but was giving me a hard time. I mean thats just pathetic. I will never go their again. And neither should anyone else.

Rainy day and a hungry stomach feeding your inner thoughts of all the special dishes that come to mind, then head to Chameli where taste will greet you with such impression that it will keep you wanting to go back over and over again! With such variety of selections in the menu and excellent service from the staff, combined with a lovely cozy atmosphere this place is a devours delight. Go-ahead and be adventurous, your taste buds will be rewarded.....Chameli awaits your arrival. (My Fav. Chicken Korma with a Naan Roti)

1/2/2013 - Authentic food. Courteous service. Serene atmosphere. Casual dining. Good price. I have been going to this restaurant since the first time it was opened. I have recommended Chameli to friends over the years. I have made it a habit to dine in at Chameli. I am addicted to their boneful Chicken Biriyani, and fish cutlets. I prefer dining there when they are not too busy or crowded. The Shahi Biriyani (with lamb) they serve during the weekends is a must-try item. Yummmmy!

Went for lunch and they were short of their lunch special of the day ( Shahei Beriany). I ordered Khuchuri rice with beef instead. My first impression was, the rice was not fresh and the beef curry was okay (7 out of 10). Later I ate sweet that was not well served. The sweet was broken apart and seems like not fresh. I regularly go to Indian restaurant and I know which food tastes what. So, my overall experience was not good and I am not going next time.

A friend and I happened upon this hidden gem one day and decided to take a gamble. It paid off! They have very friendly staff that are willing to suggest food if you are new to Bangladeshi food. (Try the butter chicken, its amazing!). Ive been there several times (including taking my entire extended family for my graduation) and weve loved it every time. Its cheap, the portions are large, and it tastes wonderful! Im eating there today!

I had high hopes for my biryani while eating a delicious vegetable pastry while I waited. The biryani was sadly nothing like I had before. No nuts or fruit, the spices were subtle to say the least though the lamb was plentiful and the dish was a good size portion for the cost. Ill come back but the biryani is a different style than what I was expecting and will have to keep that in mind in the future. The pastry was fantastic.

We ordered chicken 65 and what we were served was nothing we had ever seen or eaten before. They had no idea what chicken 65 was. It was worst food ever. I dont recommend anyone going there to try that. They may serve other dishes which are good, but, for me this was it. I cant go to a place that can mess up chicken like this, think of this it is really hard to mess up chicken.

This people dont know what is biriyani. They mix white rice with chicken curry and tells that its biriyani . Its a fail and fraud. The people are rude. Food is not good and they are selling white rice and meat and telling its biriyani. Worst experience ever. I would suggest learn how to cook first then open a restaurant.

1 word superb.. Addicted to briyanis (only briyanis) here. Have tried all kinds of biryanis in dallas from low to high end but chameli beasts them hands down every time. Me and my family have been having food from here for past 2 years 3-4 times a month...amazing. Reasonably priced amazing taste.

Delicious!!! Love the butter chicken although at most restaurants the chicken is too tough so I just get the gravy with a couple garlic naan and a vegetable and chicken biryani (that chicken is on the bone and much better). So good!!!!!!!! I am on my way right now to pick up an order.

Most of the items on the menu are what you will easily find in any Indian restaurants so we opted for authentic Bengali item which is fish. The Ruhu fish with hot pilau rice was heavenly with perfect spicy level! I would like to some more authentic Bangladeshi savory items.

They called their DHAM mutton biryani, special for the day $9.99. No Salt, No Spice, the meat tasted like it was just boiled in plain water, like rubber pieces & thrown in rice. I doubted even I might get sick eating that food. Not a place for tasty healthy food.

Not to crib about the 4$ chicken biriyani, well, you get what you pay for(except for the excess oil in the biriyani, which is aplenty). But heck, they dont have to be perfect at the price they offer food at. 4 stars guys, Bravo!

The food here is of tiny portion, stale (microwaved!) and VERY EXPENSIVE. Service is slow, rice smells, with lots of crusts. Will never go back here again. Wouldnt recommend this place to anybody to waste their time and money.

Tandoori chicken was tough and more than likely old(instead of throwing it away, cheap punks packed it) and rice was clumped together . Chameli might be having a bad night. Ill try again one more time . Extremely unhappy .
