If I could give a review and not give a star this would be one!! You know what they say about first impressions....Well this place didnt make a good one. It took me 15 mins to order a beer sitting at the bar at not so packed restaurant. I then proceed to order food and thats when things when quickly down hill. I heard great things about the Marker mark sliders, so I order them medium and sit enjoying my beer and college football. Glancing every once in awhile at the service window to see if my food may be over there. Well it happen to show up in the window and I patiently waited for the staff to bring it to me (knowing they are busy). So 45 mins go by with my food still sitting in the window, a local orders the same thing I do and receives his food in a timely manner. So I politely asked the bartend if she could check on my food that I ordered 45 mins ago with a snide look and comment of she will check. She asked what I got (mind you she placed my order), I pointed at the guys food and said the exact same thing he did but 45 mins ago. I ask for the food to be taken off my my bill and she snaps back not a chance!! Do what?!? So I ask for the manager and she says states shes the GM. She proceeded to roll her eyes and go check on the food (which has been sitting in the window). She brings the food over to me and I deny it cause I know for a fact that its cold and have been watching it sit in the window for 45 mins, she then proceeds to LIE straight to my face and says it just came out and it was hot (touching the bun). I tell her thats a false statement and not only I but they people around me have watched it sit over there. She once again snaps back "nobody would watch a window for food"... Well somebody might after waiting 45 mins for 3 simple sliders and fries. She insists that it hot, so I ask her to touch the fries (knowing they are cold) and she tell me if they are hot, so I ask may I touch them. She refuses to my offer and throws the food in the trash. She once again LIES telling me they are hot. Mind you the other patrons around are witnessing this. She claims she cancelled my tab and tells me to have a good night. I ask for a receipt of this this and she tells me she never ran my card, I state the other girl did and my CC is in your system. She still denies that it doesnt exist , so I finish my second beer there in the 2 hours sitting there and walk out. Only time will tell if there is an open tab sitting at that poorly ran establishment. If the owners read this I would highly suggest you find someone with "people" skills and can represent your business in a positive manner to be a General Manager. Lesson learned: This all could have been solve by a quick Im sorry I forgot about your food and I will get it re ordered and comp it for you. But instead you will now have this review about your establishment forever and lost the business of someone who just moved into Port Aransas.

We sat outside on the patio because we had our dog with us. We only came because we found out they were listed as dog friendly. We were greeted by a nice young lady and gentleman. She was new to the area from Arizona and doing a great job taking our order. My son and I were excited that we could play ping pong while we waited for the food to arrive. After playing a short time another waitress from inside told me that I would need to provide an ID for using the old used paddles and balls. I told her no thats okay and she quickly gathered the equipment up and we went back and sat down. The truth is that it went from a fun environment to just a place to get some food. Very little social skills here as that seems like the norm in most food establishments these days. I would have gathered the family up and went elsewhere, but didnt want to inconvenience my family and the nice waitress. We ate and it was okay and overpriced. We tipped the waitress good and went on our way deciding that we could check Stingrays off our list as a good place to bring out of town guests.

I would like to say that the food and service was great, UNFORTUNATELY, I CANNOT. I was promptly greeted at the door, but when I told the hostess I had 11 in my party she took the menu from me and told me that we could not be accommodated at the restaurant. I offered to split the group up and was told once again that we could not be served. I was told by management that it was the owners policy not to serve groups larger than 10. The manager was helpful in recommending other locations that were open past 9 P.M. Three people from our group still wanted to stay and eat there and were told by the hostess that they could not be served because they were part of my group. I was told by the manager that food orders per table would be at least 45 minutes apart as to why we could not split up our group. We visited several other establishments that were very accommodating. Fins, Kodys and Jays were GREAT!

Worst customer service ever!! Went there with the family while on vacation, walked in not knowing if we needed to wait to be seated or if we were supposed to seat ourselves so when NO ONE said a word to us, we sat ourselves on the patio since it was a nice day. One waitress watched us do so, but never offered to help or take our order.. after watching her walk by us several times I went to the cash register area to ask how to get service; I waited for the rude chick at the register to acknowledge I was standing there to finally ask if she could help me... I explained that we were seated on the patio and had not helped yet, she just stared blankly at me before finally saying she would have someone come out and take our order. I went back to the table where my family was seated and waited.... NO ONE EVER CAME TO TAKE OUR ORDER OR ASK US IF WE NEEDED ANYTHING. we walked out.

More of a 2.5 because I loved the food. Good food, terrible service. If you dont mind waiting on yourself, this is the place for you. They have nailed the food for sure, but are lacking enormously on wait staff. We watched as people came in 15 minutes after we sat down to start eating before we even had our beverages served or the appetizer that never arrived. As I watched another server easily manage her tables, we sat in complete isolation from any recognizable service. I hope this place gets this taken care of because they have the ability to be the best on the island, just need to get better waitstaff.

First time going here and the first thing you notice when walking in during the day, is the heat. We ordered take out over the phone and were flabbergasted by the take out fee which had its own tax! They are way overpriced and the food was nothing special. Small side portions and the catch of the day had lots of bones still in it. We also had to go back because they forgot lemons and tartar sauce(which they charge extra for). Now we know and wont be going back. If you want good food at fair prices we recommend Kodys or Giggitys.
