My spouse chose this place to celebrate a special occasion. As always, Im happy to oblige and visited this restaurant. To start off, they "forgot" to stir in two eggs into the stir fry and when we finally got a hold of our server, another person came and handed us something that looked like an omelet. My food tasted funny and I found a piece of "I dont know what" in my bowl - I just know it was not edible. The server seemed blahhh about working there, so of course, her attitude made me feel gloomy along with the atmosphere. I grabbed a business card on our way out and called Sara Bergman (the general manager) the next day. I left a voice mail with my name and number for her to call me back so I could explain how disappointed my husband and I were with our experience at the Genghis Grills food and service. However, SHE NEVER RETURNED MY CALL. I still have the receipt, it shows the date of 7/30/14 at 7:57 p.m. I really dont think shes calling me back!! What an awful place, food, service, and general manager!! Dammit, I knew I should have taken my hubby to "On the Border" like I proposed in the first place!!

Pros - Food was hot, fast & good. Wait staff was prompt and attentive. Cons - Pricey for a bowl of stir fry. The food was good, because you get to pick only the stuff you want, and spice it how you want. Food was obviously hot and fresh, since they cook it right after you pile it up. However, by the time you get drink & tip, youve basically paid $15 for a medium bowl of stir fry, which is mostly rice (or whatever starch you chose). Thats a bit pricey. If everything (bowl of food, drink, tax, tip) came out to $10, it would be a good deal. Plus, this isnt exactly a low-carb-lovers paradise. They give you this dinky bowl to put your protein + veggies in, which by itself wont make much of a meal. They ask you at the end what kind of starch you want, which is what will make up the bulk of the stir fry. Im not sure how theyd react if you told them to give you a bigger bowl to put more veggies in...I didnt ask. But if I could get a huge veggie/protein stir fry w/o the carbs, Id be coming back to this place more often.

Used to be a nice place. When I went to this place recently (after a few years), I felt the hygiene of this place has deteriorated significantly. 1. (Critical) I found a small piece of aluminium foil in my food bowl. This is quite dangerous. Fortunately it got stuck between my teeth for me to spit it out easily. 2. (Major) The cooks ("Grill Master") was removing the exhaust filter over the grill, when food was being cooked. I am not sure if he was using the same wooden stick that they use to grill the food (it looked like one), for removing the filter. This is very shabby, especially when food is being cooked under it, and when there are customers around. What if the oil stick on the filter (this is what the exhaust filter is used for) would have fallen over the food? This is way unhealthy in any standards. If you are planning to visit this place, I strongly recommend you to look for other good Mongolian restaurants.

Used to be one of our favorite places to eat. Unfortunately the service has declined over time. The assistant manager, an average looking white guy with glasses is a rigid, customer unfriendly jerk. He tells the wait staff to bug the crap out of customers to buy more expensive stuff, to keep buying new bowls even when their full, and to buy desert. This isnt so abnormal by itself, but when you choose not to, he has the wait stuff put your service on hold and make you wait around forever for trivial things like drink refills, and a bowl of steamed rice. He also makes them put up resistence to things like honoring the companys own sponsored coupons, and getting an extra sauce cup. Some of the wait staff is still friendly, but some others have become understandably cranky due to this. Mind you, this is only recent, it used to be a great place to eat, and may yet again be one some day, but as of now it is not.

Terrible service from the second we walked in .... The hostess had the most sour look on her face as if she would rather have been somewhere else. We then were sat at the front of the store by the bar where the people were promptly served their alcohol... We never even had anyone take drink order... Just a server from another section that walked by twice telling us each time that she would get our server for us but I guess was never able to pull her away from the group of servers congregated around the computer talking about whos apartment the party was going to be at that night after their shift... We left without even having our drink order taken, never even talked to our waiter....so we went to on the border.... We called the manager of this Genghis and told him what had just happened ... He said sorry for your inconvenience and hung up ....

2016.02訪問 ブュッフェスタイルで材料を取って、モンゴルスタイルの鉄板で焼いて自分オリジナルの丼にしてもらえるレストラン 肉、シーフード、野菜などたくさんあるので目移りして色々取り過ぎると美味しくない丼になります。 シーズニング、ソースの選択が難しいです。 自分はラム肉を期待して行ったのに無かったのとご飯が美味しくない、料金が高いのであまりお勧めしませんが自分で美味しい丼を作る自信のある方はどうぞ

The food here is great - good selection, freshly prepared, and freshly cooked. There are a variety of different sauces and toppings. It is very flavorful and you can load up on steak and shrimp and scallops and the good stuff, or go for vegetables too. They offer little guides on cards for first-timers. This place is a build-your-own stir-fry buffet. They now offer single dishes, but the buffet is like $1-2 more and its the only way it would be worth it. The price is a bit high for single bowls. My only other complaint is that the place is slow during peak hours (lunch, dinner). You may have to wait a bit to get your food out, and they dont really have appetizers. Otherwise id give it 5 stars.

Such a dirty place! Is just gross, The floor was sticky, the table was sticky, the chairs had rice in the corners, someone came and cleaned the table with a wet towel and place the menu with is plastic, and the menu just stick on the table and was a joke to try to take it on my hands. The place was half full but the waiter disappeared all time, my husband and I choose what we wanted, my bowl arrived first with part of the vegetables were burned, my husbands bowl arrived 7 minutes after and cold. I give two starts because anyways I was happy with the food. But I have my doubts about the sanitary conditions. That place should be shut down.

Used to be our fav place how ever the kids and i took my husband for his big 40 and the service was horrible we were seated by the bathrooms not a big deal but we were forgotten about! I also had coupons or a free bowl well guess what she didnt use either one surprise surprise i called the next day and talked to the manager i didnt want anything but to let him know about his server he offered to send us gift cards to replace our meals guess what we never got them suprise again needless to say we have not and will not return :(
