I come up from SA almost every week to get a taste of this amazing BBQ. Better than Rudys, Coopers, or Bills. Two Bros competes, but Granzins wins in my opinion. When stationed in California I would dream about their brisket. Always lean, and you dont have to pay extra for it. Chicken is almost as good as I smoke at home myself. Turkey is moist and flavorful. Sides are large and delicious. Potato salad is cut large, and the pepper is a prefect compliment. Their shirts used to be way cooler. I own one of the old style ones. The new ones are too plain in my opinion. Its in the sauce and the wood!

We have been buying Breakfast Tacos there for 14 years. (Country Pork Rib Meat Taco, or Brisket Taco, or Ham Egg Country Suasage Cheese) Always the best Tacos in town. Not to mention the entire menu of Meats, plates, sandwiches, but noticed a new, "Even Better Menu today", never thought I would say it, but they have outdone themselves. Oh, Dont forget the sweet tea. Comfortable decor inside, front porch or drive through. The will even Roast your Thanksgiving or Christmas Turkey to perfecting without any hassle and cheap. Dont show up before they close , you will be treated like a scum bag !! Maybe they should close earlier so the employees can be happier !! Used to dig this joint a local treasure now its like you are stealing there first born if you get there right before they shut down ... Hell I wish my work shut down at 830 , some of us work late and want something they enjoy to have for dinner .. maybe suck it up be accepting and let my family and I enjoy our dinner even if its 10 minutes before you close .. will never come back !!

I am planning a trip to visit and friend and Granzin is on my list! My husband and I are BBQ lovers and have to try new stuff everywhere we go. Grazins has some of the best I have had. (hubby didnt get to try since I ate it all before I made it the hour drive home!) They serve the BBQ on a different type of long bun, and it was excellent! I had the sliced beef sandwhich and brought the hubby a sausage link. The sausage was good, but the brisket was just awesome! Cant wait until friday when I get to try it again!

Granzins has great food a delicious breakfast tacos, but they are terribly slow getting your food. The have a To-Go window that is never open in the morning. I have to order my food while Im driving there for pick-up and then still wait in line so other people can order while my food is ready getting cold in the back. If the restaurant is extremely busy in the morning have someone run that second cash register you have on the counter or open the to-go window. 2 Stars because of terrible morning service.

On Sat July 17, 2010, I got breakfast tacos thru the drive-thru and took them home, when we divided them out we discovered they screwed up the order. My wife called to talk to the manager on duty, her name was Rosie, when given the problem, Rosies suggestion was bring the tacos back for refund, and those who had ate theirs, puke them back up and bring them back and never eat there again. I have been eatin Granzins BBQ for 25 years, and never ever had service this bad.

Terrible bbq sauce. I thought bill miller had bad bbq/sauce but this place has them beat. Bbq sauce = can of tomato sauce warmed up. Bbq = dry and lackluster. Dinner fries = soggy Sweet Tea = was ok I guess. But when you grow up in Texas, everyone knows how to make sweet tea. Customer service = fair at best. No eye contact, just a blank stare into space. Atmosphere = warm building and Soaps playing on every tv while I ate. Bathrooms = needed attending.

This morning I had a horrible experience at Granzins Bar-B-Q! First I could barely understand the lady taking my order from the drive-thru, second I didnt get the two bacon & potato breakfast tacos that I ordered & third, when I called to let them know about it the lady didnt even apologize. She just wanted to give me credit and get me off of the phone! Just a word of advice: customer service goes a lot further than speed! I will never go back to Granzins!

A local favorite that our family frequents all the time. Granzins has the right BBQ for the right price. The Beef Brisket has just the right rub that gives it a taste that I can enjoy even without the amazing sauce. Turkey tacos are an easy on the go grab with a large Sweet Tea. Daily specials can get you to a great meal for low prices. The inside is casual and we feel safe with our small kids when we dine in.

Nothing to write home to mother about. Good meats, agree bbq sauce = can of tomato sauce, tacos are great but a lot left to be desired in the meal line. For being in partnership with Nagelins the lack of deserts in the restaurant leaves me puzzled, and if i had guests from out of town that wanted bbq i think i would take them to bill miller instead, not much difference between the two.

I have had their BBQ a few times now at work functions and parties....and its OKAY, but not great. Perhaps i am a bit snobbish, since i have lived in this area for so long and there are SO MANY other BBQ places.......their food is good, but if i had to pay for it, i would probably stay home and have my wife cook up BBQ instead. she is a much better cook than most places we frequent.

Making the rounds of the local BBQ cafes, and this one was good but not (imho) outstanding. Sausage and brisket were both good, but not good enough to make me rush back. I wasnt disappointed, but I wasnt excited either. Side dishes of potato salad and mac salad were very good (maybe better than the meat?). Nice staff and a pleasant place; no complaints.

Great food, better service. Almost all of the employees are friendly, normal people who keep the place clean consistently and provide fast service in all areas. Their food is a good mixture between the speed of fast food and the quality of good barbeque. I frequent this establishment several times a week and would definitely recommend it to a friend.

So, I wanted to give it 4 stars, but I just had the breakfast tacos, which were just OK. My issue was it looks like they cook their bacon, chop it, and add it to the eggs. This messes with the texture of both. They really should just keep them separate until they put them ib the tortilla. That said, I heard raves about the bbq, so Ill be back.

Many thanks to Rosie and her people from Granzins BBQ! Throwing a party for 450 is no small feat and they provided excellent food and service, with a smile all the way even though we were in an outdoor tent with 30 mph winds blowing us around. I would use them again, without question!! I got raves about the bbq from everyone in attendance.
