When you go to a place like this, you expect entitled young ladies, scantily clad and providing subpar service. Most customers expect this. With that said, in order to have a viable business you still need to do basic things. Get an order, bring the order, bring the check and take payment. What Ive witnessed twice is a scenario where waitresses linger around their regular high tippers and disregard other customers almost entirely. The amount of food and drink sold is waaay below customer demand because paying customers are so poorly serviced. I had to laugh last night because nobody was clearing empty food/drinks from our table so I busd empties to the waitress station at the bar. An hour later I did it again and the bartender (grumpy) says "What the f*** are you doing, take that sh** back to your table." She looked at me like she was gonna kill me. This girl has a job for one reason (not because shes pretty-which she was). She has a job because her manager is not qualified to run a staff of young pretty ladies. They clearly walk all over him. From an ownership/management stance it would seem that the business is successful as there is surely money entering the register but I would argue that its the minimum amount based on foot traffic. A solid 70% of all customers you see are frustrated with their waitress and eventually give up on buying that round of shots or pitchers and fixate on the game on TV. I was there for 5 hours last night and my bill was about $25. Ive never spent that little at a sports bar watching a game...ever. Over that time, my buddy had probably three beers (normally wouldve had 7-8). When he asked for his tab, she had no idea who he was and just brought him a tab for five dollars. We werent sure if she was just totally incompetent or whether she was trying to garner a fat tip. Regardless of cost, we wouldve preferred more food, more drinks and better service.

Came in tonight for a quick bite and to get out of the heat and not only was the service quick and the food delicious but my girlfriend and I got a chance to speak with the manager Paul. I just felt so compelled to let you know that Paul has taken a long dreary work filled Saturday and made it something special, he is a man all about hospitality and overflowing kindness! I WILL be back just to check in with him from time to time because I have NEVER felt so welcome in a restaurant before in my entire life, my girlfriend is still beaming with joy at his kind words and compliments! Hooters I hope you read this and realize that you have a real golden goose on your hands, not only was the service quick but the wait staff was friendly and professional! This really goes to show what true leadership is and the cherry on top is a scoop of REAL southern hospitality. Thank you Paul! -Bruce and Erica

Ok. So, anyone who knows me knows I am not a complainer. I go out of my way to spread joy. I had a craving for shrimp and wings today, with my brother. I chose a favorite, Hooters in McKinney. Today was awful. We were having a great day, having fun with the staff, as we always do. Someone took offense and complained. Not a big deal, we would have apologized in a heartbeat. However, the manager (Aaron) came out with a very combative attitude. Needless to say things got WAY overblown because he was arrogant and did not want to listen, he was too busy accusing over something he wasnt the least bit interested in hearing about from us. Im sorry, but if you are going to dress like that, expect the occasional compliment. Most importantly, as a manager, listen. Please people, why all the anger? No longer a favorite. Still an AWESOME time with the bro. The important things!

Aweful! We didnt receive our food for 45 minutes. We got 1/4 of our entree before our appetizers, and they came out about 10 minutes after a few people still didnt have their food. I got bonesless wings NOT tossed in sauce, when the waitress repeated mild sauce back to me. Buffalo shrimp not tossed either, some plates were cold. My sister didnt even get her food till about 15-20 minutes after the appetizers. Then the waitress argued with us when we mentioned the appetizers not even being needed because they came out way after other main dishes. She would not stay around long enough, nor visit the table enough we could not get anything corrected, and had only 2 hours for dinner. Very disappointing. First & last time Ill ever got there. (We have weekly dinners for 2 hours every week. We have eaten, relaxed, and got to visit with no problems every other place we go)

Ive been going to Hooters since they first made their big appearance. Back then the food was great and the wait staff were greater. It could be just this location but there was only on wait staff that was good and the food was just so-so. Since there were other wait staff assisting people but only one that qualified as a Hooters wait staff every guy on the place was looking at the same one looking upset they didnt get her as their waitress. It was kind of sad really. This is what Hooters uses to separate itself from the rest and they failed to deliver the basic expectation. But its not the only reason. The other waitresses were extremely kind and even though they knew everyone was looking at "the one" they didnt let it bother them and kept an upbeat attitude the whole time. The service was great and probably the only reason Ill consider going back.

What a great afternoon - decided to stop by the McKinney Hooters and Courtnie C. suggested that I try the new New Orleans Shrimp and an ice-cold Shiner Bock, and the shrimp were awesome! I also enjoyed some great wings and I was really impressed by the attentive service from all of the servers. Jordan stopped by and checked on me several times as well when Courtnie was busy. Its great to see Hooters stepping it up; great new food & drink items and great personality from all of the girls (and manager too)! Thanks Hooters McKinney, I look forward to returning soon.

I normally enjoy my visits to Hooters in Mckinney. However, a group of friends and I went in saturday night after a day at the pool. My experience was extremely uncomfortable to be honest. Ive never been to an establishment and felt my business was unwanted. With more than half the resturant empty they struggled to seat us. Upon asking for a manager we were told he was cooking in the back and we couldnt be helped. We promptly went across the street to Buffalo Wild Wings.
