I used to love Cotton Patch until last Saturday. I went on a date with my husband and ordered a strawberry pecan salad. The chicken was dry the strawberries were not fresh and the pecans were a joke. I was in a hurry, and had to get to an appointment. The waitress asked if my food was okay? I said, "yes." But as I started to eat it and cut the chicken I realized the chicken was really dry. She went and got the manager. I dont know his name. He had no name tag. And he asked if he could bring more strawberries. He told me that the pecan for what they put on the salad were fine. I showed him the strawberries. He said, "they were fine." I told him I was not happy with the salad. He took it away. Then proceeded to bring me the bill. He took off $3 for the chicken and that was it. I asked the waitress to come back and told her that I wasnt going to be paying for my meal. The manager came back and escalated the situation by threatening to call the police on me. I was so upset I said a few choice words, and he said, "I just assaulted him." He told me to, "wait and the police were on there way." I was shocked by his over the top behavior. After awhile he came back and let me know he voided my check and we were asked to leave. He waited at the door to personally escort us out. I dont ever want to go back to Cotton Patch again.

I did something today at cotton patch that Ive never done anywhere...I sent my steak back for being to over done. They were so nice about it. We kept the over cooked steak for a to go box and they brought me a new one that was absolutely perfect! And to be honest was better than my last one at a well known steak house. My waiter seemed a little different after but was still nice and professional. I realized once I got the bill that both steaks had been comped and that lowered my bill quite a bit, which in turn would greatly lessen my waiters 20% tip. I hope he was pleased to see about a 22% tip off the original price because he was not at fault in any way and took great care of us. Of course I will be going back but I will also be ordering a steak!

Place has always had great service but today the food took 30 min. I asked the manager when he came by whats going on. He said let me check when he came back our food arrived and he looked at the ticket and said this should not have happened. He told us to enjoy our lunch and it was on him. I told him that wasnt necessary but he said this shouldnt have happened and again apologized and wouldnt have us pay since we frequently visit. That is going above and beyond. Now keep in mind the service and quality is always amazing and shows how dedicated they are for their customers. I will always visit and highly recommend. Thank you and your entire staff. You guys go above and beyond.

Walked in with my son, stood at the podium to wait for service, 5 waiters and waitresses looked at us and walked by, we sat down instead to wait for service...no one said anything. 1 minute later 2 white women walked in and got seated right away. I asked to speak with a manager and told him about what happend...he apologized and I asked him that the next staff meeting they hold that this be addressed. Unacceptable behavior. Oh it was an all white staff.

The food was what was expected. It was good but it was somewhat short on flavor. I have notices older customers prefer a standard flavor and this being old home style cooking it works well. Cynthia was our waitress.. Very personable.. Friendly with the locals a definite plus to the overall experience. If you like food like grandma made with a few extras.. Great place to stop

This place is germy and unsanitary. My family and I ate here at the Mansfield location and were all sick with stomache cramps and have been vomiting all night. Yall need to clean this place up and make sure yall are sanitizing the dishes and should probably stop using dirty rags to clean tables. This has been the worst Fathers Day dinner ever....

Great food, service can be slow at times and I do not recommend getting food take out, your portions are ALWAYS larger with dine-in versus take-out. I have also had problems with my last two of three take-out orders, but they were just small issues. We enjoy Cotton Patch very much... More than the Black Eyed Pea.

Walked in and was immediately greeted. The staff were all friendly and professional. I had a black waitress who was absolutely amazing. She went above and beyond to make sure all her tables were taken care of. I would recommend this place to everyone. Cody the manager is an amazing person. GO EAT HERE.

Food was awesome, Cant beat it. But made me a little queasy when I seen how dirty the wood trim, metal star and top ledge was. The side trim with hand prints a nastiness on it was the worst of it. so please get someone to address this issues as soon as possible. Thanks yal... Tell next time

It is always a nice and comfy environment. Food is served fast, the wait staff is always pleasant, the rolls are hot and fresh each time and are continuous throughout stay. The food is all reasonably priced and you receive a large portion for any meal.

first time eating here and just ordered a simple take out order. WILL NOT BOTHER TO COME BACK! food was thrown together like my order was an afterthought. Food was cold and half thrown in a bag. rolls tasted stale. waste of my time and money!

Several Fridays in a row I have had the pleasure of coming here and enjoying the catfish. The entire staff have been wonderfully kind and never rushed me. Good food and good people, what else could a Texan want!!
