We were in Watertown for our anniversary and decided to check this place out for lunch. Walked in and saw the seat yourself sign. Picked a booth and waited for menus. We waited 15 minutes watching the waitresses restock. Nobody greeted us or brought menus. When another couple came in, were immediately greeted, and brought menus, we decided to leave. Mentioned what had happened to the waitress on our way out and she didnt appear apologetic. Simply confused. Severely disappointed with the staff for their complete lack of attention. Very upsetting experience. Will not be returning.

The food was good but not amazing. Lacked a little flavor. (Tabasco to the rescue though) Probably would have rated a 3 for being average... But I had two things I loved that most people dont realize. They have good seating for singles so you dont have to wait just because you dine alone. I got my own pitcher of water so I dont have to constantly ask for a refill of a little glass. Chicken fried steak, over easy eggs, hash browns and a side of sausage with sour dough toast.

Very Disappointing. The food was poor, very plain, no flavor... potato was overcooked, meat was slimy and cold, lettuce looked and tasted old, and there soup was quite good. The service was bad.... the lady that seated us seemed quite annoyed that we were there and our server was in a bad mood.

The Wheel Inn is a great place to eat great food for a reasonable price. Dont expect the Riviera, more like Mels Diner. The hot beef is excellent! The place is always packed for a reason.
