Brought my family here for the first time at roughly 12:45 in the afternoon. The bottom line is this: None of us were impressed with the food or the service. We wont be back. We ordered a number of different items, including an omelette, sandwich, chicken fried chicken meal, etc. Out of those items, only the sandwich was enjoyable. The other items were terribly bland and under-seasoned. The toast that was served was black and burnt. One of the orders was entirely wrong. By the time it was corrected, all other table-mates were finished eating. The server, who clearly made several mistakes with the order, never apologized for numerous errors. All around, poor service and poor quality food. I also find it ironic that Jesus is praised throughout the restaurant, but many employees were abrasive in conversation. Doesnt quite add up.

I use to love this place and not sure what has happen but the quality and service has gone down dramatically. The food tasted like it was microwaved with it being cold around the edges and barely warm in the middle and had a weird almost expired smell to it. We only saw our waitress a total of three times and she must been having an off day because she acted like we were inconveniencing her each time she stopped at ohr table, which was only when she took our order, droped off our food and dropped off our bill. Hoping it was an off day there but I will unfortunately not be back to see if they change back to the service and quality they once had.

Came here on a whim because I wanted something more homey and authentic than chain restaurants. SO glad I did. Walked in for breakfast and was greeted quickly and seated in a nice, cozy spot by a window. I asked for coffee and also got a glass of water on the side given to me. Red Velvet Pancakes were really great and got a side of sausage with it. Pancakes were big and fluffy. Loved that. Coffee kept flowing without my request, so obviously my server was attentive to my cup. It was tasty too! I just had to say no more and he wouldnt serve me more. Highly recommend you come by here.

Best place in Lubbock to have breakfast. Any time my parents come in to town this is where they want to have breakfast. The portions are very generous and will surely fill you up for the day. You can get a three egg omelet and it comes with a side pancake. Ive never tasted something from here that did not taste amazing. On a side note, it seems the football team likes to come here; several times I was here I saw prominent Texas Tech football players. What a great way to start the day!

Greeted by freindly staff, seemed like they were genuinely glad to see me. Coffee and water appeared instantaneously, ordered huevos rancheros got tomatoes instead of the paps fritas, bacon as the meat...... No shortage of bacon here 5 pieces were brought it with perfectly cooked eggs, excellent beans and fresh sliced tomatoes, it was all great. Good coffee, good food, happy people.... What more do you want. Ill be back for sure

Great food, very friendly sevice. I came to Lubbock for just a couple weeks and wanted to find a local breakfast spot. Everything was great the two times I went. The sweet potato pancakes were amazing and the service was very friendly and fast. It has a nice old fashion atmosphere and wish I lived closer to go more often.

Was looking for something new without the feel of other chain breakfast restaurants. Got exactly that here! Has a very classic southern atmosphere. The staff there are friendly and was always on top of things. Seats are a bit awkwardly place and a bit uncomfortable. Maybe booths could enhance the stay!

This is my favorite place to eat breakfast. The ladies treat you right, the food is incredible, and Id gladly pay more for the experience but they just wont charge me that much. The Pancake House is a place I go to make sure my day starts off the right way and I would recommend it to anyone.

My Son and I were in town a little over a year ago and the experience was awesome. Staff was great, food as well, and we were able to meet a few of the TT players who took time to talk to my Son about football, it meant a lot to him. If you havent tried it its definitely a must.

I visited from out of town and must say the food is absolutely amazing - every single item, whether it is breakfast or not. I was even more pleasantly surprised by my incredibly friendly waitress. This is truly a gem and I cannot recommend this place enough!

I had the most blessed meal I have ever eaten. While my wife and I were eating a accapella group began singing, How Great Thou Art, out of the blue. The entire restaurant stopped in total wonder, and the air and conversation became completely elated.

LOVE THIS PLACE. Best breakfast hands down in town. Dont waste your time at Dennys or iHop. Come here! Very old fashioned, unbelieveable service (its that good), and great food. We came in two mornings in a row and Sally has already called us by name.

Food didnt live up to the hype, and service wasnt great either. We waited a while for butter for our pancakes, and then again for refills and our check. The sweet potato pancakes were the best thing we tried. Im not sure if Id go here again.

The Pancake House is truly a breakfast delight. The restaurant caters to everyone from farmers to Tech students. The pancakes are some of the best in town. You cant go wrong in this casual atmosphere of an old time diner.

Great breakfast with home cooking and great coffee. Very friendly servers. This is the breakfast joint you knew as a kid. In fact, this one has been around since the 1971 tornado and still going strong. Love it.

Nice restaurant, decor was a little dated. But the food was not lacking at all! The wife had the filet mignon and I had the salmon couldnt ask for better, nice wine selection. Very nice wait staff.

A Lubbock Staple - A great place to get some great breakfast as you make your way in from the LBK Airport. Homely interior, courteous wait staff, and decent prices make this a Lubbock institution.

The food was alright but the bacon was flimsy, like what Ive gotten in a dorm cafeteria. The place itself seems a bit outdated, though I could also see that look being appealing to other people.

Sunday brunch place for me! Chocolate chip pan cake and veggie omelette are the best! Staff is very friendly and ambience is very good! One of my favorite places in Lubbock!
