Took my disabled son on a walker to this location for breakfast. Advised the lady we needed a table as he couldnt manuver in & out of a booth. She said they only had two tables (occupied) and it would be about 20 minutes. Watched numerous people leave and others be sat. After about 30 minutes, a family of seven came in, were asked if they minded being sat at adjacent tables, and they were immediately sat. Soon after, a manager came over and asked if we were sure my son needed a table, as they only have two and they were currently occupied (by the family that had just come in). I said we had specifically asked for a table a half-hour earlier and had been patiently waiting for one, long before the family came in, and he had the gall to say they had to give them our table because they were a family. This is just to let the public know that the disabled are apparently an inconvenience and are unwelcome here. The Ihops in Amarillo and Austin have always treated us with the utmost kindness & respect.

If there was a way for me to give 0 stars I would, I am a former employee of the ihop on 19th in lubbock tx, first and foremost, do not ever consider working there a few of the things i had to deal with included, being forced to work on the plumbing, (I am a dishwasher) the ice machine was broken and leaking and the sinks were leaking causing me to stand in water up to 4 inches deep daily, there was no heat in the kitchen and no hot water to wash the dishes with, mind you this was when it was below freezing outside, another huge issue was male sexual harassment, both physically and verbally. when I took my issues to the manager he told me to get over it, so I quit along with 4 other people (one of them being a shift leader) so I want to warn anyone who is thinking of working there, DONT, does anyone know how i report this to IHop human resources? I was never given an employee handbook with the information.

Awesome. I was greeted as soon as I entered the restaurant, seated quickly and served very promptly and accurately. I was very picky when I ordered my food and it was no problem with either the server or the cook. They were there to cater to me and fulfill everything that i wanted in my visit and that made me feel great about choosing Ihop out of the many other choices that I had. The manager (Michael) was awesome. He was going around the dine asking all the guests how they were doing and making sure that everyone was taking care of. Then he proceeded to assist in the kitchen and at the cashier counter when needed. I also observed him coaching and developing the staff in a respectful manner. This location is awesome and I would recommend it to every one that is looking to order any type of food any time of the day.

I went on a extremely busy morning with my 2 preschoolers. As always, they had to pee right after we got out food. Since it was a busy morning, I told the wait staff we would be back, & please dont throw our food out. When we came back to eat, someone else was actually sitting at our table. We were given free meals, the couple had just sat down & told us we were welcome to go ahead & sit back at our table, it was no problem. They manager apologized profusely, & offered desserts for free. I of course refused, understanding that things happen. We ate, enjoyed the extra attention they seemed to give us, & left a pretty good tip as well. I love this IHOP & will be back, for sure

Cause I was sitting there, for an hour, they didnt bother telling me if I need anything..they are very slow, they are lazy and looks like they dont want to work, poor place to eat.I recommend dennys.they said they didnt see me standing there, but I was standing there for almost thirty minutes, so I sat myself down.very poor, very poor, and should be ashamed of themselves.and wow, their manager on duty doesnt seem to give a damn,, wow,I asked where the person in charge is at,, they said hes outside, doing nothing,, wow,,, thats crazy,, and all the employees seem to talk so much and joke around,, wow,I think the general manager should need a wake up call,, this is ridiculous.

So tired of every time I order food they mess up , always forgetting at least one or more things. And I always have extremely undercooked bacon so I make it a point to say I want extra crispy they say ok and I still get under cooked. I dont just say it just to say it . its extremely annoying when you have kids and order food get home and someone is missing something! Dennys has by far better service and Ive tried to ignore the service I get from IHOP hoping next time might be better but this is like time #5 so goodbye IHOP your service has gone down the drain . if I have to wait half an hour for food at least make sure I receive what I pay for!

So my husband and I decided to eat at IHOP because it is the only place where we can get and eat our comfort food because we are so stressed with exams. We ordered our food and patiently waited for our food to come. The server kept assuring us that the food is on its way. After ONE HOUR of waiting, still no food. Unfortunately, the server was not able to put our order in the system! Who the hell does that? Now our stress just got worse so we left hungry. We only wanted to eat something that will uplift our spirits! :( I hope this will not happen again.

Last time I came here, it took over 40 minutes from ordering for food to come. Tonight, I came with 2 friends and decided to time it. It took 52 minutes for three plates to come out, and half of it was cold. They were out of salad and out of streak. Servers are nice really because they know service is really slow. I wouldnt recommend this place, but Ill still reluctantly keep coming due to to convenience of the location.

Dirty silverware and coffee cups. Asked for another clean set of silverware and coffee cup only for the server to give me a dirty look. I know she came back with the same cup which she probably tried to wipe the lipstick with her fingers because it looked smudged and same color lipstick. Not sure if its the weather but todays service seemed a bit shady..

When you first step into the restaurant, you get greeted by a rancid smell, most likely because of the open kitchen. Food tastes alright. For some reason, my glass of water smelled like eggs, it probably didnt get cleaned right. Since its a small restaurant, you can hear the staffs conversions. Highly doubt going back.

During a busy Sunday, we were seated next to the bathroom. A child threw up right next to us, and the manager stepped right in it! It took another 15 minutes for someone to come clean with a rag but only got half of it up. I was so discussed with the whole situation I left before food came. Poor management

When the waitress grabbed my plates off of the counter, she put her fingers in the plate, touching my food. Also when she set them down, part of my omelet was stuck on her thumb due to her having her fingers in my food. I did not appreciate having her bare fingers in my food. Thanks.
