Flippers Tavern will always be known as Flips for short. This pinball wonderland could charge an entry fee as an art installation alone. Thankfully you can buy the best of beer and gourmet hotdogs to enjoy while you are taking in the pinball wizardry. Excellent venue for groups or a cheeky afternoon drink. You never know who youll run into! Also a favorite location for the Medici Circle Happy Hour, raising money for scholarships at the Texas Tech University School of Art.

I prefer Arcade Machines. That is about the worst thing I can say about this place. The food is AWESOME, and very affordable. The potato salad is amazing. They have an excellent selection of beers on tap, (try the Twisted Pretzel if they have it!) the staff is hilarious and exactly what a "Tavern" crew should be like. (They remembered us and what we had from just going once!). Cannot recommend enough. Oh yeah! NO Smoking and NO Vaping really push this place over the top.

All your senses will be whelmed as soon as you walk in. The interior design concept has a warm retro vibe. You will find plenty of craft beers to choose from (colorfully written on a couple of chalk boards on the bar wall) and refreshing signature cocktails(the Mexican Martini is perfect thank you awesome bartender!). These guys have christened the brat to another level of delicious inventiveness, guarantee, you will not find a boring blah bland item here.

This place is the best! We had our gender reveal party here awhile back and Jakcie is the most awesome party planner. The food is great and the atmosphere is even better. I had a Bon Temp tonight which had my favorite, crawfish fondue, on top of a german sausage filled with flavor. It was slightly spicy, but I am a sissy when it comes to spices. The pinball machines are also a must do every time to come to eat here. One of Lubbocks most unique places to eat!

I LOVE Flips! The food is phenomenal and reasonably priced, the potato salad tastes like how my Grandma and Mom made it. Great beer selection with reasonable beer and liquor prices. We have a regular waitress who is hilariously snarky and the best server Ive had in Lubbock. Its non-smoking even on the patio, which is wonderful! The whole atmosphere inside and out on the patio is great. Its quickly becoming my favorite hang out in Lubbock!

Excellent food at great prices. Fun events like Geeks Who Drink. Excellent, friendly service. Laid back and fun atmosphere. Great beer selection. Working Pinball machines! Cool tables made from old pinball machines. Interesting decor. Quiet patio available for outdoor seating with your dog or smoking. I tell all my friends about this place.

This place is awesome. Funky menu of hot dogs and sausages, the coolest dining tables around, great vintage pinball decor. The ONLY reason that I cant give it 5 stars is that they only have 4 working pinball machines in the back. Need a lot more. But, everyone should check this place out. You wont be disappointed.

This is my favorite bar in Lubbock. They serve gourmet hot dogs and have a ton of craft beer. I seriously cannot rave about this place enough! I go there at least twice a week, and that does not feel like enough. The staff is amazing and the atmosphere is really laid back. I love it!

This is a gem of a place in Lubbock. Quite possibly, this is the mecca of culinary excellence. They specialize in hotdogs, but not your typical hotdogs. They have any number of toppings and meat to serve even the most discriminating taste.

Good atmosphere, very reasonable drink prices, and the staff was friendly. There is more seating than bar space, so I would think it would be better for a group than for a single person. Also, they close at midnight instead of 2am.

One of the better bars in Lubbock for sure. Non smoking so you dont have to go home smelling like an ashtrey, and is literally the only place I know of in Lubbock anymore that has pinball machines! Ive checked.
