Give this place a pass! The sad thing is this used to be one of my favorite places to get pizza from but recently it has gone down hill. I suggest dominos or pizza hut over this place for better cheaper pizza. I do not know if they have been taken over by new management but these guys are simply awful and I look forward to them closing their doors in the near future. The last 3 times I have ordered pizza from these guys the crust has been burnt and the sauce has been watered down. I understand that watering down the sauce keeps cost down but for almost $17 for a large pizza I mean seriously. The last time I tried to order pizza from them it was 8:52pm. They said they where closed. I said what time do they close. They said 9:00pm but they stop taking orders at "like 8:50" I said you mean like 2 minutes ago. He said yes. "Good night" and hung up the phone. Sorry Italian Villa I guess you just do not want to be in business much longer. On the upside I ran over to pizza hut and got way more food... it tasted better... and it was cheaper... Now I dislike corporate chains and love supporting local mom and pop stores but when they make it the only way to ensure the longevity of mom and pop outfits is to support the ones that know what they are doing.

I gave it 5 stars because its in my neighborhood - super close!! The food is fine & a heck of a lot better and CHEAPER than Olive Garden. I had a bad experience several years back, but new people took over so decided Id give it another try in 2014. We take out all the time now, but the atmosphere is nice for casual dining & they have t.v.s all over. You can customize your dishes & order stuff thats not on the menu. Its a wonderful neighborhood place to eat in or take out & they are fast. Pizza, sandwiches, Chicken Murphy & other dishes are good - the Chicken Picata not so much. It was in the middle of the afternoon - so maybe the cook was out. There was no artichokes in it, the sauce was super weak & the chicken overly bland. Overall, you need to try this place if you live around here.

My wife and I had a late lunch there on Sunday. The waiter couldnt have been much older than his early to mid-20s....as his lack of experience/courtesy demonstrated. After we ordered, (I had laid my menu on the table) he just pointed at the menu and gestured for me to give it to him as though he was unable to speak words. So I gave it to him.....no Thank You, nothing....Really? When he brought the food to our table, he neglected to tell us the plates were hot and my wife burned her fingers. Oh! and then he said, "Oh yeah, the plates are hot". I told him that he should have probably told us that beforehand. In general, he probably should NOT be a waiter. He has no sense of how to treat customers properly. So we probably wont return....there are better restaurants and waiters out there.

To be honest, I wouldnt go back. After the original management left the food quality has gotten pretty bad. The restaurant used to be packed, and when I went in yesterday, NO ONE was in there except the waiter and theres definitely a reason. The waiter is very unprofessional. I ordered takeout lasagna, and when the waiter gave it to me, the bag was ripping and soaked in sauce. The lasagna itself (as bland as it was) came in the same aluminum pan he cooked it in and was so extremely hot and sloppy, covered in sauce. The chicken in the Caesar salad was so dry it wasnt enjoyable, the balsamic vinaigrette he gives you is literally Olive Gardens recipe, and the "garlic" bread he gave me was just bread with leaves on top. No taste at all. Wasnt worth the money, and OLIVE GARDEN IS CHEAPER.

I use my computer a lot, but hardly ever write a review about anything. not even to complain. But this place is really great. My wife and i have been coming here for the last year and a half. (we usually go around 11:30 to 11:45 after our sunday bible meeting, before the place fills up)They have us hooked on their lunch special. cant be beat. includes salad and drink for a very good price. Love the spagetti & meat balls. Sauce does not upset my stomach. (cant say that about other places) Dim lighted but pleasant. You feel comfortable inviting your guests because you know they will have a good experience. VERY good service.

The original management has left for the new opening in Allen,TX. Since this has happened the food is going down with changes that are not as good as before. Also the new waiter is rude, does not refill your drinks, and if you do not tip he will ask you not to come back. Unfortunately after being a long time customer my family will not be going back period. I wish the original management would come back. They were great, but believe me the food, service, and hospitatility has taken a big dip! Not recommended for anyone.

Since Vinnie left the original owner the service is horrible. When I walked in I asked to be seated where we usually set and was told no! Also the spagetti sauce has changed and is not as good as it was. When you need refills on tea you will be completely ignored. You will be asked not to come back as well. After being a long time customer since Vinnie has left we will not be going back period!

Tortellini De La Nona: Theres a unique taste to this dish. Its not bad. The tortellini is cooked well an the sauce is really nice. Im not normally a person the like peas or big chunks of tomato, but it works with it. :) However I feel this place has kind of gone downhill. The food is really hit or miss these days.

I have been living in Carrollton for 30 years, I have met lots of people, every one of them tells me this is their favorite Italian place. I dont understand it. I eat here once or twice a year but only when invited by friends. The service is usually good and friendly but the food is always disappointing.

Placed a delivery order, and they forgot part of it at the restaurant, I called back and they said they couldnt bring it to us tonight, offered me a refund, on my cash paid order, but that I will have to come get it myself. The food subpar for the price, the sauces taste tinny like they came from a can.

Got there 8:40 pm and service hours said close 9pm. Well guess what? Waitress said sorry kitchen is closed . So whats the point to keep the restaurant open with any costumer in it.? Then close at 8 pm . It was our first time going there, but with that services we will never go back there. Thank you!!

I had one of the specials today, the mushroom raviolin in cream sauce, and it was absolutely OUTSTANDING!! My friend had the lasagna and said that it too was EXCELLENT!! It was our first time trying out Italian Villa Restaurant but we will both be bringing our families back to eat here again

Owners are great. My kids love running up to them and giving hugs. Food is incredible. Wife had lived in Italy when she was younger, and said that taste is amazing. Fast service. Just love it.. ok, going there tonight, thanks allot!
