Mediocre food. Mediocre service. Food was fresh but lacking in flavor. Was initially told they were out of Angel hair pasta but after our waitress (never told her name) checked, they had "just gotten some in". Speaking of the nameless waitress, she never even smiled, we had to wait for at 15 minutes to get our tea refilled, one of our entrees came out incorrectly and it seemed as if we were an inconvenience to her. Best part was the friendly maitre d and Good fresh sweet tea. Yup that pretty Much covers it.

Black Dog is one of my favorite spots to eat in, in all of Arlington; I have always had amazing experiences and the staff is always super friendly. Ive been on mulitple occasions and this i can prove as a fact haha. My friends and I always get the 10 inch personal pizza. Honestly cant see how this place is rated 2 stars as of now. I encourage you to come in and see for yourself, the prices are right and the atmosphere. And no ...im no employee or anything i just care a lot about places i love.

Everything others said was sadly true. Really poor service. The food was fresh, seemed good, but shockingly bland, really really pour salt and whatever you can find on it bland. Place is dead, out of 20+ tables there were only two of us... and the service was still bad.

They claim their greek salad has kalamata olives, but when it came out it had regular black olives. Salad was not great. Service was not great.

The pizza was good however the restaurant itself was extremely filthy. My friend and I had to clean our own table just to have a place to sit.

The pizza is OUTSTANDING!! Ive had pizza all over America, including Lombardis and Gramaldis in NYC. Black Dogs pizza is on the same level.
