Seated within 3-4 minutes to a fairly empty room, 6-8 tables filled. Didnt ask for any preferred seating and did not get a favorable table/1/2 booth. I settled and accepted. Our server, had an unreasonable assignment of tables, both inside and patio. Her attention was required at the patio, so we sat for 10+ minutes before we met her. We immediately placed our order that included a Sprite and a water (already served). the Sprite took 15 minutes to be served. The main course was served and that was the last we saw of the server until she finally passed by and we asked for the bill. I would have loved to have been able to ask for some crushed chili pepper but we did not seem to be in the path of the staff. I fully believe that the servers were understaffed while the bar had plenty of help. Food (2d trip) was same as the first, nice enough but not memorable, so maybe I forgot it took us so long between trips there. Musician had a great balance of sound, choices and execution of music that was enjoyable and easy to digest. He got a better tip. Looks like a great place to meet for drinks which would bring it up from a 2 to a 2-1/2. Burnt twice, but would still consider hitting the bar if the occasion arose. Felt for the server. she was working hard and hustling but couldnt cover the territory assigned to her.

After hearing great reviews from family, we decided to try this place out on date night. We were not very impressed after having been huge fans of Italian Villa. The bread was spot-on which was welcoming, but the fettuccine had an odd aftertaste. The lamb was very good with a nice sauce, which Im not used to. Typically when I order lamb other places, it is served dry, so I was happy to experience something different. I would have probably given them another star if our server would have been more attentive. She disappeared after serving our main meal, and was gone so long we didnt even get to order dessert. We were not impressed, but not too disappointed either. The pricing is fair, and ambiance is as expected for a strip mall restaurant. Overall, it was alright. I personally didnt think it even compared to Italian Villa. Maybe it was an off night.

Weve driven by this place for years and didnt know it was there. Italian is my favorite food and the only close options are The Olive Garden and Mac Grill. Theyre both solid but neither is exciting. I have to go to Fort Worth to get what I really want and now I dont have to. Their prices are comperable and the atmosphere is upscale and cozy. The calamari and seabass were as good as Ive had. We ordered a side of alfredo sauce with the bread/salad and it was up there with the best Ive had (thats a big deal to us). The desert was pretty good and the cappuccino rocked. With an appetizer, wine and desert I guessed the tap would be $135 or so; it was only $96. This is now our favorite place to go

Called this restaurant in advance to set a reservation. We arrived to our reservation 5 minutes before set time yet the hostess did not seem prepared to sit us so, I requested an outside table. Hostess walked us outside handed us our menus then went back inside. After waiting 20 minutes for service, I called on my phone (the entrance area was crowded and the music loud so it seemed to be the best option) inside, to let them know we were ready to order. I was then told someone would come. We waited 10 more minutes before we decided to leave. We are now at Sake habachi having a blast.

My favorite restaurant in the metroplex. The staff always remembers us and since we have a service dog, they always make a point to seat us somewhere the dog will be out of the way of other patrons and staff. They dont stare or interrupt our meal to stop and pet the dog either which is a welcome relief. The food is outstanding.I love the weekend specials, especially the Filet Oscar and the veal is fork tender. Growing up in an Italian home, I always find it difficult to find meals as good a my momma makes, but La Gondola is a close as it gets!

The service and food were good. I have had the Capellinini alla Rescatora (very good) and the lasagna (good). I give them two stars for the very loud music. On my last visit they had live music. The male performer had an excellent voice. But they used an amplifier turned up way to loud. We had to shout across the table to have a conversation and at times just had to wait for him to finish the piece. We spoke with the server about the volume. She sighed and said she understood and that it would get louder as the evening progressed.

Let me start by saying the food is Ok. not better than carrabbas though. more expensive as well. my main complain is SERVICE. we came in happy and left mad at how bad the service was. 40 minutes after ordering JUST FOR AN APPETIZER. 20 minutes later , Soup and salad followed. 20 minutes later the food finally came out , we were there for an hour and 15 minutes after ordering before getting our food. Trust me just go to carrabbas instead. CHAD the manager sucks. get a new job.

As a Consultant I travel a great deal and found everything about this restaurant exceeded my expectations. I ate at the Bar and the service was outstanding and the food excellent. I had the Chicken Parmageon, moist and the sauce was thick and rich. The bar tender was extremely friendly and personal. The locals at the Bar were quit friendly and made suggestions on specific plates for my return visit. Will definitely return to La Condolas on my return visit.

We had my daughters graduation luncheon here and were seated near the bar. Some of the employees were watching an X-rated movie in the bar, which we could see clearly (along with several young children). When I asked them to turn it, the employee rolled his eyes at me and it took 10 minutes for them to turn it. Food was good, but pricey, but under the circumstances, I would not eat there again.

It was just slightly better than Olive Garden but almost twice the price. I am not a penny pincher but $8 for four shrimp. I don’t know if they have an appetizer that is really worth it. The sauce was decent; however I usually prefer a more viscous texture. The pasta tasted somewhat premature in preparation. The salad and bread were very good. The atmosphere and service was acceptable.

A little heavy on the sauces especially the salad dressing. The chef does a great job with the fish. Highly recommend the sea bass. Ill be coming back again to see if things get even better ☺️ My second visit was so much better. The Sea Bass was excellent. Mickey provided excellent service with a passion for the food. I certainly recommend coming here and I will be back...!!
