My sister and I visited on Monday, April 3rd to celebrate a huge job promotion. Service was great but the atmosphere was horrible!! We were sat and stuck between two evils. A table to the left was arguing with the staff over bill charge (out loud) and the table to the right of us was complaining about their noise (out loud). It got to the point where both tables who were complaining about one thing or another started arguing and screaming at one another. No one came to check up on us or apologize about the inconvenience, INSTEAD- the manager went to the loud "noise" complainers and comforted their table. What a memory! If these are the crowds that fill up there space- I will never go back again.

I have occasionally frequented this food distribution local and must say my experience was definitely above par. While normally I graze in open fields for small grubs or worms, I was happy to find that the food provided was both much more delicious and nutritious. The waitresses were more physically attractive than the wild life I am typically surrounded by although they did reject my sexual advances on several occasions. This may be due to my poor hygiene, so it is understandable. Had they not banned me for biting other patrons who came near my plate, I would surely return!

I was driving through with 3 kids and needed to feed them. I had been to El Toro in Baytown and figured this one would be a safe bet. Food was great, but more importantly the service was awesome. Javier was attentive and friendly and when food arrived i realized I assumed they were going to be soft tacos but they werent and someone fixed it immediately even though I told them it was my fault. They were great!

Asked for booth. Only empty booth is dirty. Girl told us to stand by the exit door. No where to sit & wait. So GF went to manager & stated while strongly " that fine. Take your time. Well come back next week when you have time to wait on us". Seated same waitress asked " are you ready?". "Ready for what? you never brought menus!" All that for Sysco Tex-Mex enchiladas. El Toro bites.

Not worth it. We waited almost 10 minutes to get two glasses of water and there was hardly anyone in the restaurant. The food was overpriced and we ordered the nacho appetizer, which took a half hour to be served to us. The nachos were 10 chips covered in refried beans, grated cheese, and VERY little fajita. I would not recommend coming here. I did not have a good experience.

Well, I meant to go to the place down the street because theyre a little cheaper, but everything worked out good. Chips were great, salsa want bad, tacos were small, but really good, beans and rice were great as well... Also, free soft serve ice cream... So, maybe that is why they cost a little more. Staff is a mix of attentive and friendly or a little spacey and friendly.

Waited on my server for about 15-20 minutes. Watched him cater to a larger crowd of people. (not all larger crowds tip as well as a single person) needless to say no tip was given on this end, due to lack of hosting. Food is over priced. Drinks are about the only good thing.

El Toro has become my wife and Is favorite local place for excellent food and service. Staff is friendly and efficient. Food gets to you quickly and steaming hot! I recommend the Del Mar. You will be surprised at the quality youll find here and business is always brisk.

service was great! Unfortunately I cant say the same about the food. Im pretty sure the saslsa was jar picante and bagged chips. The rest of the meal was ok but nothing to write home about. Made me realize why I always go to the same Mexican Restaurant at home.

The plates my wife and me we ordered, werent just generic, nothing special, the flour tortillas were a little subpar if you compare them to other restaurants. Sorry to say, but I would change the category of this restaurant from mexican to texmex.

didnt even eat here. Sat down and looked at the menus and then left. Way too over priced. every single plate they serve is over $20. some are even $40 .. the only cheap things is a taco salad and queso..

This Tex-Mex restaurant is very Iconic for the area. It was established in 1960 by a local family. Its great fresh food is delightful. I highly recommend you to stop by.
