I wouldnt even give this place one star. To start off the place is nicely "fixed up" but there is very loud "Club" music playing. Then the waiters run around like chickens with there heads cut off and forget about trying to get up from the table or a waiter will run into you. Our waiter was a bald guy who said "No you dont want to eat that its gross" when I ordered something simple off the menu. Then proceeded with "Ill give you a few more minutes to look over the menu" and left. When my husband asked if the resturant had sweet tea to drink the waiter then sarcastically said "we have sugar on the table". I find that kind of rude... how hard is it to say "No we have unsweet tea only"? Once our order was taken he brought out all of my food first then told my husband his would be out soon. It took another 10 minutes before his was out and I was already done eating my food. It didnt stop there.... like I said the waiters run around and I guess 2 of them clashed right behind my husband and a plate flew in the air and sauce went all over my husbands back. The waiters ran off VERY quickly and didnt even stop to offer assistance or say sorry. So there I was 7 months pregnant wiping off my husbands back in the middle of this resturant. Finally I called a waiter over and asked what the sauce was so i knew how to wash his shirt and the guy said he didnt know, even though I know he saw the whole thing happen. Our waiter came over and said very rudely "Oh its just ginger dressing, its no big deal" and walked away after giving us our ticket. At that point we were ready to leave. They didnt offer to comp our meal or even appologize for any of it. We will never go back there and Im warning all my friends and family about wasting their money there as well! Its way to expensive for the lack of taste and service! I would recomend Hunan Gardens!!

I was Hungry for sushi near by me so i stopped by.... For this list of food: crab puffs, eel sushi, Happy sumo, Maverick Tempura, Manhattan Crab Puffs: These I Really liked as they were Huge and there were 6. The insides were the softest and most creamiest Ive had. I also tasted a lil bit of green onions or chives i couldnt tell but were great. Eel: The texture was slightly mushy but still good, the only down side to this was the sauce as it over powered the pieces Happy Sumo: This was good, although it needs the help of the sauces to give it the rest of the flavor it seems to be missing Manhattan: was the best by far and as close to being and tasting like an actual roll as it had no need for the extra flavors of the sauces. Though the sauces did go with and helped to give it even more flavor at the cost of kinda drowning out the rolls original flavors Maverick: I liked this one 2nd as because of the ingredients and the sauce did help as well. Overall: the interior has nice and kinda an upscale feel and look to it despite how the outside is. This place is good but use alot of sauce on their rolls and I would say “fattening sushi or American sushi”. The rolls themselves are hugest from the many places Ive eaten before... I was able to finish but only half of my meal and all the eel sushi. Come here if you’re really hungry and can eat alot, as this ain’t your regular sushi place!

My husband Paul and I have just had a terrible, unsettling and thoroughly disgusting dining experience today. The host at this restaurant and a server started a pushing match just two tables away, there were verbal threats that escalated into pushing and then punching and knocking over various plates, sauces, etc. The two men separated and then went after each other again. During the second violent assault my husband spoke up and the two men separated and they proceeded to go after each other again verbally and physically. There was no manager present to intervene and the violence was sickening. We requested to have our food boxed so that we could escape this unpleasant situation, not knowing if the violence would once again ignite. Our waiter finally delivered our boxed food and check. My husband paid our full bill, there was no attempt by the staff to apologize or break the tension. I felt as though I were in a horror movie. Upon arriving home we found no soy sauce and no fortune cookies. Our fortune for today was to be the witness to a disgusting violent display, I learned that violence can show its ugly face even here in Kingwood. I could never dine at this restaurant again and I would never recommend the food, service or atmosphere

Cool little place behind a gas station. You wouldnt expect it from the outside, but the interior is pretty upscale and modern. The food is served on cool/interesting plates and always has a very nice presentation, with a real flower and nicely-formed cucumber and strawberry half on every entree. My only disappointment is that the soups are served almost room-temperature. I like a hot-miso soup and it has never been that way. Weve been here 5 or 6 times and thats always the case. The sushi rolls are fantastic! Obviously they are dressed up a bit to cater to the American audience, but they have always been delicious! All the food Ive had there has been great! Chinese dishes, Japanese and a little smattering of other asian cuisine. Love and would highly recommend the Singapore noodles! They are amazing! Even if youre not a curry fan, they are great! I saw the review about 8 months prior to mine, and thought how unfortunate that there was some kind of altercation in the restaurant between co-workers during those peoples experience. Ive never experienced anything but pleasant wait-staff every time weve been there.

Their sushi is not my favorite because almost every roll is covered in some kind of mayo sauce. I find it difficult to eat healthily here, which is ironic for a sushi place... So, this is more American sushi than authentic. Most of their rolls are cooked and will defnitely fill burger-dependent stomachs! I often order out because Im not crazy about the atmosphere. Their music is so loud; it can be hard to carry on a conversation. But, if thats what you like...or if youre afraid your children will be too loud, go here! No one will know! Another downside: no happy hour! I made that mistake once and ended up paying $5 for beer! They have a full bar, so I thought surely they would have hh deals. Overall, its not a bad place.

Food is great but the employees are consistently less than excited to help you. While on the phone I informed them that their online menus are messed up and the lady didnt even answer me, just asked what else I wanted. No thank you when hanging up, just short and it was at 4pm, not a busy time. Would love a few more main entrees with tofu as this is one of two places in the area that serve it, the one they have isnt that great so we have to go through a million variations with the employees to find what dishes they are currently substiting tofu for meat.
