If I can leave nagative review, I want to do so!!! Bad management team and bad decision making and problem solving! 1, waitress took wrong order and brought us dinner plate 2, She came with another waiter and he asked us to pay the difference. 3, For their unprofessional attitude, I refuse to pay for their mistake 4, They want to take the dish back and make luch special portion, I let him to do so, but I told them to dont give leftover to any other customers. 5, manager came to us, told us he will disgard the plate in trash can and make another lunch plate so we have to wait another few minutes or if we dont want to take it he can remove the plate from the table and remove the order from the order! Ok, we totally lost our apptite while we wasting time with their bad problem solving skill and I decided to return the plate. Totally feel insaulted because they tried to remove our plate more then 3 times from our table! In addition! The plate was so dirty and the napkin waitress brought to us was already dirty with some kind of red sauce, I dont understand why she can bring those dirty napkins to customer!

What happened Kim Son?!? Im appalled at the quality and taste of your food! My boyfriend and I came in last night because I have been craving Ca Kho To and Canh Chua. I used to go here with my parents all the time and the food was great. We also ordered the Dragon wings and a dish of their Snow Pea leaves in garlic sauce. Everything was alright, but the snow pea leaves were the worse! There was no flavor. The garlic needed to be cooked more, and it needed more salt. It was completely bland. The dish is pretty simple to make, yet we were up-charged at $15.95. It was the most expensive dish on the whole bill. Each dish came out with rice, and each bowl of rice was a different color. Was not very impressed. Maybe I should give you the benefit of the doubt because it was on a Wednesday night, but for some reason I feel like you dont hold the same reputation like you once did. Granted it was just my boyfriend and I, if I was with my parents...you would have some explaining to do. We will not be coming back.

My sister and I have eaten here multiple times, but last time was the most confusing. I ordered several items off of the "traditional menu" (this is a secret menu that they only give to people that, "look Asian," as explained to me by my waitress). I suppose my sister and I dont "look Asian" enough, because they assumed that I didnt know what I was ordering and brought me the wrong thing, two times. The waitress actually said that is what happened. The waitress offered me the following explanation for the wrong orders, "Oh, well, we didnt think you knew what you were ordering because we usually only give the traditional menu to people that look Asian." Wow. After explaining that 1. I am half Chinese, 2. I have been there multiple times and ordered the same items during my previous visits, and 3. that I was offended, I received the correct order. My food was great, but the experience greatly impacted my opinion. On the plus side, one of the managers discounted my food 10% but did not apologize.

Well me and my friend and her two daughters went out on April 21st 2017 around 8:30 after being seated we ordered a drink we ordered a few appetizers then all of a sudden they brought her oldest daughter the chicken lo mein. Well I look over at her plate and a bug crawled out of her chicken lo mein. We told the manager and all he offered was to cook her food over. We didnt want our food yuk! He did take the chicken lo mein off her tab. We paid for our food and left the food there because who wants to eat something when seeing a bug crawl out. This just shows that people dont care about what they serve you. He only cared about his money. God bless Kim Son this was my favorite place to eat at with my mother when she was alive. The manger is awful and has no heart! Susan was a good waitress but she still was looking for tip. I could go and on.

As a Vietnamese person, Im pretty picky with the Vietnamese food choices around town. There are plenty of Vietnamese restaurants outside of "Chinatown" that lacks the authentic taste; their offerings are not as flavorful when it comes to certain sauces and staples. However, I have found that Kimson appeals to the palates of most nationalities. I have dined here with family as well as friends and I have yet to be disappointed. Considering the portions, I would say the prices are fair. Their menu is also robust and you can choose individual entrees or family meals. This place is also very popular for weddings, so sometimes the parking gets pretty crazy, but the atmosphere still stays relatively average as far as noise level, not too loud nor too quiet. If you sign up for their newsletters, they send deals and coupons about once a month. :)

When we got there there was no hostess. In the dining area the chairs were scatter all over the place and hard to walk. The only tables were left were up against the wall which seem to be very dirty when you request it at a bigger table in an area that was less crowded and were denied that area. The table was too crowded for the huge plate and beverages. The wait staff were all too busy watching the football game rather than attending to customers. It was not a relaxed atmosphere at all. There was no table service. Waiter brought us the check with the fortune cookies. Did not bother to clean our table with all the dirty plates and such. I got up and cleared the table myself so we could. look at the check and relax a bit after eating. It was not a good experience at all. The Kim Son special was nothing to Rave about.

This restaurant was not good. I was with my family and the waiter almost forgot to take my order, I had to get his attention to remind him I hadnt ordered yet. The food was not fresh, the shrimp was very fishy tasting, my aunt found a hair in her plate, and the service was just BAD. I was there for about 1 1/2-2 hrs and not once did they offer me a refill. I had to grab the waitress from another table to ask her for a refill to go because I had already finished my meal by that time. The staff was not friendly or patient at all. I was very dissapointed since I usually hear good things about this place. It mush be going downhill because of the economy, who knows. I just know I will never go there again!

Went for a wedding and there was no parking so had to use valet. Valet damaged our car and tried to conceal it such that we could not see damaged side when they pulled up. Should have suspected something was wrong since they were pulling up other cars opposite way and when it was our turn, they pulled up the other way although the car came from same parking lot. Driver had to make a U-turn with our car and we only noticed damage morning after since it was dark when we left. We called Kim Son management and was referred to valet company, who would not own up to their mistake. Terrible experience so we dont recommend having your wedding reception there as it is a horrible experience for guests.
