Horrible food, and even worse ways of preparing the food. They leave their meat to defrost on the floor in open containers over night, with only plastic partly covering the containers. They batter their meat on dirty trash cans (with trash and trash bag still in trash can, not tied up) in large bowls large enough to fit inside the trash can with the lip of the bowl hanging over the edge of the trash can. Wasting food? Oh never that, while battering the meats, if a piece of meat falls onto the floor that everybody has been stepping on all day, it does not get wasted, the manager makes you pick it up and throw right back into the bowl, which again, is on on top of a trash can. Also keep in mind this place is not the cleanest either, the building has roaches and although i never saw one, im sure they have rats. Many times the plastic on the containers that had been left out over night to defrost the next morning had pieces bit off in the corners and small holes in it to where the meat was very more exposed then it had been being partly covered the previous evening. The idea of anybody eating food from this place knots up my stomach. They under pay their kitchen employees as well, under minimum wage, because in the managers words " they simply cant afford to pay their employees minimum wage." I wish the health department or news would run in there one day and expose the sick, disgusting ways about the " restaurant" and shut them down. I dont see how anybody could serve that kind of food to people, let alone sell it. If anybody has ever gotten sick from this place or has had a bad taste in their mouth, theres your reason why. Its sad when you walk in and see all the pictures on the wall of customers over the past 20 years who have dined in and eaten there, and have no clue whats goes on behind closed doors in the kitchen.

Me and my boyfriend returned to this restaurant for a second time. The food was decent, but the service was horrible. We had an older lady serve us that constantly pestered and stared at us. When we asked for one more serving of Kimchi, we were given a weird look. What really got to us was that when we paid and turned to leave the restaurant, the server stood by and watched as we signed the receipt, and stood in our way, refused to let us leave until we tipped a satisfactory amount. She asked aggressively, "what was wrong with the food? why no tip more?" and barred our way up from the table. We decided that we didnt want to stand out over this and gave a bigger tip to leave. I have never been forced to leave a tip from a restaurant before. I hope the server was glad that she got the extra 3 dollars from us - we will never return to the restaurant and will tell all of our friends the same.

A real surprise find in an area dominated by fast food chains. I went in not expecting much but was pleasantly surprised. Kitsch is assuredly the right word to describe the decor. My familys gone three or four times and have had a really pleasant experience every time. The only complaint I could muster would be that their crab puffs have no crab, which is far from unusual in Chinese restaurants. The menu is varied but not overeaching at all. A good sign is almost every time weve been theres usually a group of Chinese people eating there. Yes, its Chinese American cuisine but its pretty good for the price.

Food was decent, waitstaff pleasant enough.I was left without a drink for over 30 min,and my soup was never delivered. I got up after realizing no one was servicing my tablet and requested a soup, a drink and a to go box.Returned to my seat after another 10-15 min, began to make eye contact with the owners I believe at the register. Who then got the OH no look and ran back to the kitchen I guess for my soup.I requested to please just make it to go since I was already at the register to pay..which they did . I would try again hopefully it was just an off night.

My last experience here was enough for me to give them one star :( The shrimp fried rice was nasty (soggy shrimp ...it was almost scary and the general tso chicken --- was aweful. I dont think you should have anything delivered or you will be surely dissappointed. I think you get better service inside but the delivery is extremely dissappointing.... you know what they say.... your last impression is your first... POOR QUALITY price is reasonable .... service is good...taste ... a complete failure...too MUCH MSG... in ALL there FOOD.

Delivery time was pretty quick. But the food is nothing special, seems to lack flavor, but what really irritated me the most was they didnt bring any utensils no fork or chopsticks. I was at a hotel without a car and could not go pick any up. The Delivery Man hadnt been gone more than 30 seconds before I called and told them I have not been given any utensils. I was told they would bring them out but they never showed up Im assuming they figured that because Im in a hotel I wouldnt be eating with them again. Low class.

I give you one star because every time I order food to be delivered I ask for hot oil with my meal and you guys always fail to supply with it. Its 15.00 dollars for a simple meal because you add the fuel charge but at least have the kindness to supply hot oil each time especially when asked. It feels like you guys are so effin greedy with it on top of that I only got one package of soy sauce!!!! You have lost one loyal customer all for yes one simple thing HOT OIL!!!!!!

I have been a customer here for over 10 years. Food has always been consistently good here. While the Chinese food is good, the Chinese-Korean food is the best in town. I always order their jjajangmyun. The jambong is also another dish I would recommend. While those are my favorite dishes, I would say that all of the other dishes Ive tried over the years are delicious.

The food was delicious. I order half sizes thinking i could order two different things. I ended up with two plates of food. The waitress was delightful and so helpful. The restrooms were clean. The food is cooked to order not mushy. The vegetables were crunchy and the sauce was good not like buffet style food. The prices were great like $7.49 a plate.

Greetings from staff when you walk into restaurant. Friendly, clean and a happy staff. Our food was for pick up. When we placed our order, the wait was a short one. When we arrived home to enjoy or meal the portions were Huge! Singapore noodles are my favorite! The food was great. Found our new Chinese food spot. Thank you to SHAN HU CHINESE RESTAURANT.

I live in Brockport ny and travel to Houston on occasion for work. I came here on a hunch and it paid off. I had sizzling rice soup (never had this before), fresh shrimp spring rolls and shimp in garlic sauce. Everything was excellent and theres no way I can finish this meal. The service wss great but I ordered way too much! I recommend this place.
