My wife and I go here often. The food is inexpensive and well made. The entree options are several and delicious - I dont know what they marinate their meat in but it works extremely well: the steak has an excellent flavor and is always moist and tender, the chicken is also fork-split soft and flavorful. Im especially fond of the family appetizer plate, as it allows you an array of dishes without having to commit. Despite its relative popularity, we have never had to wait for a table, even during peak dining hours. The only downside is the regular appearance of live music - some people like that sort of thing, but it tends to make it difficult to have a conversation. Aside from that, though - given the preponderance of TexMex options in the area, you could do a lot worse than Los Cucos.

Setting was great and we had good service however once the gathering was over ie parents and children celebrating the end of a long season. One of our group was pulled over by the Jersey Village police that sat in the parking lot watching us be celebratory with each other and our kids. Pictures taken and hugs and laughing. If he was not called, he was targeting the patrons who left in good spirits. Just letting people know that that spot is not safe if you are going to have a great time. Used to be a fovored spot but now I shake my head in disappointment.

I come here often and the food and service is always excellent. The bartenders are courteous and attentive. As a foodie, I really recommend the fish tacos! They are delicious. The stuffed jalapeños are also very tasty and flavorful. The house Margarita is pretty good but is pre-made in a huge bucket, its a plus for convenience and time saving but sometimes there is nothing like a freshly made margarita. The prices are pretty standard and the restaurant is huge so even with a large group there is no wait time. I definitely recommend this place. ☺

Ive had much better at other places. The food was okay, but not great. I think I was expecting more due to the reviews. Not authentic at all. Very TexMex. Ive had good TexMex at other places. The prices were very high compared to the food quality, taste and serviced we received. I should have driven down the street to Olive Garden instead. Our service was not good either. The server seemed annoyed for some reason. At first we thought it was the time, but it was only 8pm.

Los cucos is our favorite restaurant! The food is outstanding. Different than any other Mexican restaurant in the U.S. The salsa keeps us coming back. Try the El Panchito, fresh shrimp and crab in a delicious cheese sauce. They have some of the best seafood dishes. The manager Rolando takes extra care to ensure all guests have a great experience. If you havent tried it, do yourself a favor, youll be glad you did.

This was the worst Mexican food I ever had, my family in Houston TX likes the place and we went there for diner, I will never eat there again, My wife and I did not liked it at all and we eat a lot of Mexican food, I am a big margarita drinker and I had a $9.00 margarita and it was horrible they couldt even make a good drink, I thought it was expensive and not worth the money at all!

Very friendly place. Service was excellent, Juan P being our server. We interacted with both mgrs on duty as they came to our table out in the patio. I am very picky with my food but the server got all my modifications correct. We were very satisfied with our meal and experience. Definitely recommmed it and will be back, maybe even pick up some food To-Go. .

Love the food but when you get approached by a manger saying your card got declined yesterday and you tell him you havent been here in over a month and he doesnt believe you!?!?!?! We showed him our driver license while he had the credit card in hand and he still stood there grilling us. Great customer service!!! Piss poor management!

Good friend and I gorged ourselves here for his birthday a few weeks ago. Flaming cheese for an appetizer, fried and stuffed Heaven--I mean avocado--for a main course, dessert sampler (which was obscenely delicious)... great live mariachis. Estephany was sweet and definitely made us feel like friends. Id come back in a heartbeat.

My husband and I actually eat here about twice per month on monday or tuesday, when they have $1.59 margaritas. Ive never actually paid full price for the margarita so I dont know what those taste like! But we love the food, can go in the bar area with our son (who is very loud) and just enjoy good food and cheap drinks.

Maybe its me, but Im just not a big fan of Los Cucos. One thing I will say is the cucumber and watermelon Margaritas during the summer, are pretty damn good. Aside from that, Im not impressed with the food. Authenticity is not their forte, but its decent enough to go to for a snack.

Best waiter ever!!!! His name was Jorge. My son swallowed a large piece of chip and started to cry. Jorge brought an extra glass of water and some crackers for him. I appreciate the extra care and patience he had. Its never easy with a crying 3 yr old in a sit down restaurant.

Great portion, great taste at affordable prices. I always order their Caldo de Res and it is big enough to take home after the meal. Their childrens menu is good too and the service is great! Parking is never a problem and its a family friendly restaurant.

The food is always good, and well priced. This is a good place to go at any time, they always have seating regardless of how large the party is. Service is excellent, food comes quickly, and I have never had an issue with an empty glass.

Had a fantastic dinner last night. Ordered the El Hurache - Fajita steak on onions served on a searing hot cast iron pan. Wife and sister in law shared Chile Rellano. Tasted great, really like visiting this restaurant.

Very poor service found a hair in the hot sauce they tried to tell me it was a strand from a tomato I know the difference between hair and fiber from a tomato have to say this was the worst service we ever had

Went during lunch, great staff, and quick service. The food is amazing and they serve plenty of it. The drinks were never empty and the chip basket was always full. The place is clean and music not to loud.
