Bad experience at a good restaurant This is a normal lunch spot – but it was not our day, it took 15 minutes before anyone took a drink order, and that was not the person who “wanted” to take out food order, wait again for another waiter. Finally, someone was forced to take our order, 20 minutes later the food arrives, whoops wrong order. Finally, the correct order arrives and it doesn’t taste right. According to management that was our problem because no one else was complaining. Then we had to wait again for the check. It will be awhile before we go back, very unusual for this place, but that doesn’t excuse bad service

The food is normally good here, but our lunch yesterday was definitely sub-par. We ordered the chicken lettuce wraps and they literally brought us a half of an iceberg lettuce. The lettuce needed to be thrown out. It was dried out and soft. Likewise, the sliced cucumber, pineapple and cilantro (garnishes for Asian fajitas) had seen better days. I think the fresh veggies might have been fresh at some point, but was prepared so far in advance that it was dehydrated. Get it together, Kim Son. We miss the restaurant you used to be.

2nd time eating from here. Prices are higher than most Asian places from Bellaire but there are a few dishes that are worth getting. The salt toasted softshell crab and the orange beef. The beef and scallops and curry chicken are a bit bland. Service is good and the place is cozy and quite clean. Ill probably stick to other Asian places unless Im craving for the two dishes I recommended. To add there are some interesting fusion dishes that are a cross of pastas and Asian flavors. I may come back for those as well.

WHAT HAPPENED TO THIS KIMSON LOCATION? I ordered from the catering menu $78 dollar worth of grilled beef which clearly stated for 8-10 people. I was shocked when I went to pick up. It was ONE white togo container of beef, ONE white container of blench veggies and white rice. Thats from the CATERING MENU! When I brought it up to the manager he said beef are expensive. Beef might be expensive, but you should not say is for 8-10 people. Charge more and I will make decision NOT to order that!

First time at Kim Son Cafe (Memorial City) I was very impressed with the Quality and freshness of the food, the variety and generous Portions, here is a place where you can tantalize your taste buds with different parts of the orient, whether you fancy Chinese or vietnamese or nonetheless Japanese the chef will oblige a happy delicious yummy ending. and if there is one more star to add it will be to the staff and management thank you recommend highly.

The lobby is attractive and clean. The food is delicious. Also, they do delivery, which is amazing, since you dont even have to leave your house to get delicious food. They encourage my laziness, and I love that. The downside, though, is that they seem to stretch their menu to include generic versions of Asian cuisine to have a greater selection. Some of these dishes arent their strong suit, but overall the food is great.

We ordered through doordash. 2 out of the 3 orders were horrible. I ordered Orange chicken and it taste like it was sitting in a refridgerator with no lid. The rice was gummy and the Broccoli was over cooked. My manager ordered Kung Pao Chicken and received more peanuts than chicken and so much it spilled into her rice causing it to get mushy. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone

What a great, refreshing spot for lunch or dinner! Bright interior (natural lighting and beautiful décor) and outdoor seating. Ordering the Asian fajitas was an experience that everyone should try! A lot of fun here and great wonderful service! Would return again and again. They have Vietnamese, Chinese, and other Asian dishes. Very excited to eat here again for lunch or dinner!

Extremely disappointed by my first experience, this restaurant was recommended to me. We ordered delivery. Our order was incorrect and upon calling, they made excuses for changing our order. Further, the sesame chicken was raw in the middle and chicken fajitas so overcooked the chicken was hard! This was our first and last meal from Kim Son.

Never had a bad meal or bad service at this location but this is the only location we will go to now. The quality at the Fountains had droped to a hit or miss on the food till they finaly got their act sorted out, now its always bad.

The best Pho on this side of town. The waiters remember our orders from previous visits, and are courteous and attentive. Food arrives quickly and is plentiful. They recently started offering desserts, like tiramisu.
