Our 3 top order was taken before an 8 top. But the 8 to got their food first. A 30 min lunch ended up stretching with no check-in from waitress other than taking order and bringing check. Food ended up well done and lack luster, possibly because the cooks piggyback the order for the 8 top of regulars they prioritized. Despite multiple requests about the 8 top turning the AC unit ALL the way down, no one ever turned it back up so lunch was an hour spent in shivering cold. AC blowing directly on our table so much that we had to anchor napkins down. It finally turned down on its own once it hit 66 degrees and condensation was on windows. Miserable experience with sparse service. (As previous review mentioned: drinks were undrinkable due to dirty taste, food over cooked but cold. )

My employer offered to drive me here for lunch. I ordered a burger to go and she ordered a kids chicken basket for her son waiting with his grandmother back at the job. This mimi lurch of a waitress decided to give her two cents and let my boss know that she wasnt allowed to sell adults kids menu items. But she would "let it slide this time" we told her the 5 year old was waiting at home for his lunch and it wasnt for my boss. She rolled her eyes. I couldnt believe what had just happened. Initially I thought the woman was racist since my boss is a p.o.c but according to these reviews, its just plain distasteful service. Will never go back. P.s the chicken basket was burned all the way thru and the burger was coldwith a crunchy stale bun.

Had a horrible experience today. Waited to be seated, waited longer to be served. The drinks were not drinkable. If you cant serve good drinks you should offer can or bottle drinks. The waitress put her hand over the top of the cup to serve them. NO! The hand goes around the bottom of the cup so that the part we drink out of stays clean. We waited nearly an hour to get our food. It was cold & soggy and not even what we ordered. One order of onion rings had hair on it, which we pointed out before they were put on the table. The womens bathroom was past due for some attention. We did not enjoy any part of our lunch and will not be coming back.

My patty melt looked like a McDonald hamburger with a pile of onions and a tiny speck of cheese. When I started eating I found a hair in my sandwich, when I asked the waitress for to go plates (which she was standing in front of) she blew me off and hollered to the lady in the kitchen. Not to mention the whole place stunk like body odor.

Will not eat there again. Food was good, burgers are great, home maid pies were good. Butt New Orleans Style Poboys were not New Orleans style or worthy of being called New Orleans Style!!! I live 50 miles south of New Orleans. Be prepared to stay there for 2 hours even if they are not busy!!!

Um....just ate lunch there today and have no idea whats so great about it. Burgers were just ok, not hot and definitely not better than Whatburger. This place is nothing special as far as the food goes. I wouldnt eat there again. My mom ordered a chef salad and it was a joke. Not impressed!

The food is amazing! I had a grilled chicken sandwich, sweet potato fries and a slice of chocolate meringue pie. The pie was so good, I had to get an entire pie to go!! On top of the great food the staff was extremely friendly and so were the owners. We will definitely be back!

Great burger! Had a burger with chili and cheese on it and it was incredible. Then had some sweet potato fries that were excellent not mushy like some other places Ive been. Will be my place to stop when I go back to the area.

We walked in and were ignored for at least 5 minutes. No one said welcome or anything. Then, once we were seated, we waited at least 20 minutes with NO ONE taking our drink order or anything. So we left! Not going back either.

The burger is really awesome! The fries, not so awesome! The fries are home cut but they dont double fry so they are brown on the outside and raw on the inside ! I will go there for the burger but I wont order the fries again.

The service was horrible!! It took an hour to get our food and the burger meat looked like it had been frozen before hand. The people beside us left because it took so long to get there food!! Definitely wont be back!

New owner! ? Told coming it in would be 45 minutes AFTER I ordered. So far has been 38 and people who ordered before l came in are still waiting. If I didnt already have time invested would go elsewhere.

There was nothing fancy about the burger, just a down to earth burger. Very tasty. Onion rings were FANTASTIC. The pie however, WOW....bourbon pecan and caramel apple, 2 must tries. A little pricey.
