I generally wait until Ive been to a place at least three times before I review it, but Im not going to wait for Burgerfry. Ive been there twice and Im highly impressed. And, hey, its hard to impress me with a hamburger and fries. The concept is simple. You order a burger, single or double patty, add cheese if you want and then choose from an assortment of toppings. The caramelized onions are perfect. They even have a fried egg as an option. Not many burger places around here do that. In fact, I cant think of another. Dont be fooled by the people complaining about the prices. Yes, theyre a little higher than, say, McDonalds or Burger King, but youre getting a much higher quality product. Isnt it worth an extra dollar or so to get a burger that really tastes like a burger? These burgers are thick and juicy and nicely charred on the edges. The wait time is not a big deal, either. No, its not fast food speed, but they arent fast food. When a burger is made fresh and to order, I think its worth a five minute wait vs. the factory assembled garbage at the fast food joints. I almost gave Burgerfry four stars, but went with five. The reason I hesitated is that the bathroom could be a bit cleaner. No, its not hog lot nasty, but its not as clean as it should be, either. Other than that, both experiences at Burgerfry have been marvelous.

Great burgers, I have had both the turkey and beef burgers, and loved them. The fact that they let you put a egg on their burgers and will make it soft or hard yoke is awesome! All their beef is fresh ground with bacon. They have several different cheeses and sauces including my favorites pepper jack and sriracha. And their handcut fired in rice oil fries are to die for. I have had several people say they thought it was kind of pricey and compared to McDonalds or Burger King you would be rigbt but if you go to a Red Robbins or Apple bees you will pay the same or more for a burger at either of these places then you would at Burgerfeen, and Burgerfeen is much better then any place I have had a burger at in Cedar Rapids. Trust me if you love Burgers and fries you need to give this place a try.

I was looking for a locally owned restaurant with awesome burgers and found Burgerfeen. The reviews on several websites were very good so I decided to try them. They exceeded my expectations. I tasted the burger meat before biting into the sandwich and it tasted great all by itself. My double cheeseburger was one the best Ive had. I have restaurant clients all over Iowa and this is one of the top 5 hamburgers in my book. Get the small fries because its enough for 2 unless youre starving. I finished with a butterscotch shake and loved it. If you get a chance to try this place out, tell Ali that Brian sent you.

Good, local burger joint. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Place was clean but the bathroom needed a little attention. Its a "build your own" burger place. Personally I would prefer some base options that can be modified. I always seem to get overwhelmed with options and end up putting something together that doesnt quite work. As was my case here. All the ingredients were great though, so that was my bad. Would I go back, YES. Why only four stars? Some improvements and a little more thought with the menu would make this an awesome local stop.

Cost is a bit of an issue, double burger, fries, and water was $10. But it was one of the best $10 I have ever spent in my life! Itd be cool if they offered a small small fries, because with the double burger I couldnt finish my fries, but man, the fries were awesome, and you need to experience them. Maybe go with friends, order your burgers and order one small or one large fries and share. Still, this is by far the best burger in CR and you must treat yourself to it at least once a week... ok, that might kill you, but man, what a way to go.

Just picked up an order that was poorly done. And not as ordered, missing bacon and onions and all mixed up. Fries were cold and rubbery. When i called to complain, the lady said that the bacon is cooked in the meat. I pedaled apart the burger did not taste or see bacon. I paid for bacon, i want to see what i paid for. Not happy since this was an order for a group and they were not happy either because this place is not cheap. Will not be returning to this burgerfeen. I have never had an issue with the one on center point road.

Burgers, shakes, gryos and fries. A semi-fast restaurant with great tasting food. Very nice environment, good amount of seating and the service has never been bad. The food cost a bit more than a standard burger joint but these are not standard burgers, they are more on the gourmet side. I am a big fan of the gryo and fries. All the beef is Choice Angus and you can taste it. Nice selections of toppings and extra to customize your burger or other dishes.

If you are craving a real, non-hippie burger go here! Burgers taste like cow and America. Fries are perfect. Toppings are fresh and proportionately applied to the burger. Juicy but not sloppy. -1 star because of sticky tables and something resembling ongoing construction in one corner. Sat with my back to the eyesore and picked a table that wasnt sticky and problem solved. 10/10 would go out of my way to eat here again.

Best burger in Cedar Rapids! Try your bacon burger with a soft egg, its amazing. They use beef bacon so its safe to eat for people who cant eat pork. I love that the bacon is ground into the burger patty, I feel that really solves the bacon strip missing surface areas. They have gyro fries with gravy cheese and caramelized onions which is also so delicious. I think its called Fiend fries! Yum yum yum!

The best burger joint I’ve been to in Cedar Rapids! (Fast food/fast casual category) I went there with my wife and we spent under $15 for single burger, jr. burger and shared small fry. The burgers were great and fries cooked perfectly. Wait time on a busy Saturday night was only about 5-7 min. Highly recommend if you want a burger place that is a step up from typical fast food.

the food is really good there. I have been there a total of 4 times and they messed up my order and my hamburger 2 times. thats half the times that ive been I dont want to spend ten dollars on some food and it maybe right!!! The owners are great people but the people working registers need to deffintntly get better or hire people that have a lick of common sense!!!

Ive been there a couple different times now and the food is always very good but it does take some time to get food like 10 min and im ok with it cause they cook the burger when u order it non of this precooked and heat lamp stuff which is great getting fresh food every time is worth the wait and the price seems to fit the quality so im good with that 2
