Was super excited to try this "farm to table" option after reading such great reviews online. Sadly it was an awful experience from the moment we walked in the door. Was meeting a friend for dinner, with my toddler in tow. Waited in the lobby of an empty restaurant for over 5 mins before being greeted. (We also were never thanked on our way out the door either). Sat down, was never offered a childrens menu, crayons, etc. for my son. While waiting for my friend to arrive, I asked about a childrens menu and was told they "dont have one." Finally ordered the veggie burger sans creme fraiche (clearly told the server my son has a milk allergy). Waited almost 30 mins for our order (veggie burger and salad), only for it to arrive covered in creme fraiche. No apology or explanation. We waited another 10 minutes for a replacement, meanwhile my exhausted and hungry child was over it, and my friend was done eating her meal. Asked for a to-go box and the check. Meanwhile, another family came in and was seated next to our table with three kids... within a minute of being seated, they were greeted by both managers, their kids were given coloring boards and reading books/menus, and were all given plates of fries with apple slices without even asking... not sure if they were the owners kids, or a celebrity family, but it shouldnt matter. The only plus of this visit was the outdoor putt putt and corn hole which allowed my toddler to run around and pass some time while waiting for our food. (Oh, and by the time I got home and actually got to taste the veggie burger - it was just a mushy mound of bland quinoa. Definitely disappointed and wont be returning).

Go literally anywhere else if you want a burger. There is a Five Guys right across the street. Seriously, thats much better in every way. This is one of those "look how fancy we are! We dont know the first thing about how to make real food, but we are so fancy, so pay us more than everywhere else!" types of places. The burgers hardly even resemble burgers anymore, the fries are soggy and covered in so many fancy herbs they barely resemble fries anymore (and taste like crud), and they dont even have actual ketchup. They have some sort of fancified alternate version of ketchup filled with various things that doesnt taste the slightest bit like ketchup anymore. Combine that with the dark room that you can barely see the burger in front of your face in, and you have all the makings of a place that is trying way too hard to make it look like they should be charging you the exorbitant prices they they charge for that garbage. Also, the chairs are the most uncomfortable chairs Ive ever sat on at a restaurant, bar none. There is a chair store next door, so my friends and I came up with a theory that they made a deal to use the most painful chairs possible in order to drive people next door after theyre done eating. On the plus side, the staff here is really helpful and really attentive.

This was our First time eating at Burger Up in Cool Springs. We were greeted at the door and taken to our table on the outside covered patio area. Our party consisted of 5; of which 2 were vegetarians. First impressions are everything and not only did we LOVE the atmosphere but we also LOVED the fact that the food is locally sourced. My BIGGEST reason for writing this review is because of the 5 STAR SERVICE WE RECEIVED FROM KRISTIAN. He was VERY knowledgeable about the entire menu; helped our party whom were vegetarians pick the perfect dinner items and was so responsive to our entire dinning experience. Our glasses were NEVER EVEN HALF EMPTY and our table was always kept clean of any used/finished dishes. If you plan a lunch or dinner out and want a GREAT experience with very reasonable prices, FANTASTIC FOOD GROWN LOCALLY, make sure to visit Burger Up Cool Springs.........and do your self a huge favor; ask to be seated in Kristians seating area; his service is impeccable.......I felt like I was being waited on by a server at a 5 Star Restaurant in New York.........WILL BE BACK WITH MORE FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND SOON........

Just had lunch there today with the hubby and we both liked our food. I ordered the Woodstock Burger (white cheddar, bacon, Jack Daniels maple ketchup) with house french fries. Hubby ordered the Ramsey Pimento Cheese Burger (pimento cheese, pickles, red onion) with house french fries. Both were delicious and tasted like we grilled them on our charcoal BBQ! Also, really loved the house ketchup (made with coca cola!) and the Jack Daniels maple ketchup. Service was friendly and adequate (nothing exceptional) and all the employees look like hipster musicians waiting for their big break in Nashville. Seating/atmosphere was comfortable enough but it is sort of like sitting at a picnic table. With fountain drinks, our tab was just under $30. Not a cheap lunch but then I wasnt in the mood for a greasy, fast food cheeseburger. Since its close to our office, well definitely go back again.

I have had two bad experiences amongst the times that I have enjoyed. The first one involved me witnessing a waiter threaten to call the police on a customer who was not happy with increase in menu prices(even is she was wrong perception is reality and she is a paying customer) and probably didnt have the difference in price to pay for her meal. Instead of making the situation right, the manager belittled the lady and never apologized for his waiter threatening to cal the police. The second incident was today. I was in the bathroom and noticed an employee leave out(he had been in there for a while if you know what I mean) and he not wash his hands. I reported this to the manager, and instead of immediately having the guy go wash his hands, he allowed him to continue to prepare peoples food. This is unacceptable and sad.

Ive made a huge mistake. That is what youll be thinking after visiting a Burger Up near you. First off; its a burger, not a 4 course french meal. I really shouldnt have to wait 15 minutes for a table, especially when the seating is racked and stacked like it is, sure I like sitting at park benches for lunch.. when Im at a park. Next up burgers; do one thing and do it right, well they fail at this. In particular, dry meat, stingy with the sauce, and no real distinct flavor. The house fries must have been kept under a lid after being cooked, limp and soggy are two words that come to mind. Finally to top it all off is the price, for the money you pay you could get 4 Fat Moes burgers which blow this one outa the park. Save your time and money, go somewhere else.

I placed a to-go-order of 2 turkey burgers with american cheese only and fries. Seems easy enough...I got the burgers home and they were loaded with mayo, onions, avocado, etc. I called and they said they would remake the burgers. While waiting for the food to cook, I was surprised the bartender didnt even offer me a glass of water. I eventually got the new order home and what do you know...one of the turkey burgers was RAW! HELLO!! The last time I checked you cant eat undercooked turkey. I called and spoke with the manager. HE DIDN"T even apologize for all the inconvenience. I asked for a full refund. I will NEVER eat here again. Customer service is awful and so is the food. Dont waste your money here.
