Ordered burger baskets that came on a plate. Burgers look like they have been run over by a forklift.Patties are wafer thin. Buns all smashed. Cheese wasnt melted on cheeseburgers. Burgers lukewarm and not tasty at all, like eating a piece of cardboard. Tasteless battered Onion rings were like eating small oil filled sponges. condiments not fresh. Didnt get any silverware. Third time here in 15 years, no change. Never again. Every time Ive ate here, Im amazed that this establishment has the nerve to call itself "Hamburger King". Comparable to Sonic burger that has been stomped on. They may have been in business for decades with lots of customers, but I was not impressed enough to ever give any redemption for this eatery coasting on its longevity instead of quality food and service. They were out of chili too at dinnertime eliminating at least 4 menu items. Reminds me of that "kitchens Nightmares" show on tv. Go to Brown Derby or the local vending machine before you delve out self torture at this slopped together yukburger joint. It is clean, but shouldnt it be?

This place is never going to let you down. I have tried everything on the menu over the last 7yrs. We always keep going back. Best Burger in Shawnee. I have taken lots of out of towners here, and all love this place. Old but extremely clean and well run. This place is a local main street treasure. If you dont mind the trip all the way downtown, this place is the best. They do carry out, so you can call in an order. Dont bother bringing your debit/credit cards because they are old fashioned and dont take them, cash only. I cant really think of anything bad to say about this place, not even one objective critique. Nostalgic and Awesome!

Visited on Saturday 8/5. Had a double patty cheeseburger with bacon and piece of chocolate pie. Their phone order system is a neat idea but the sound quality of it makes it difficult to hear the person taking your order. Took a little while for the food to be brought out. Food was just okay. Average. I think people have just bought into the hype and dont want to admit it. I think a sonic burger is about the same quality. Pie was just okay. If you want a really good burger go to Sids in El Reno. Now those are good burgers.

Called in to make a order of 2 hamburgers 2 fries and 2 drinks. Ask the price it 19.15 okay go up there get one drink ask for the other one and the bald guy getting our stuff wants to hug and puff role his eyes make the drink and then says its 2.09 I said no I had that on my order. He said well whoever made the order one put 1 so I said no Im not paying for it went to walk out he slaps the counter and tells my husband and I to never come back!!! I will be getting aholt to the main board!!! I will never be back there!!

I have been eating here for forty years and I love everything from the burgers to the stew to the catfish (hush puppy sticks are a great addition!). Catfish strips, hamburger steak and other southern staples round out the menu. There is a reason this place has been here for 90 years. Do yourself a favor and drop in and sit in a booth, grab the phone to order (youll understand when you get there) and soak up some nostalgia along with a good old fashioned meal. Dont forget to grab a piece of pie while youre here!

I have eaten here at least once a month for the past 10 years. All I can say is that it is great. I love the fact that to order you use what is like a telephone handset. At first I thought it was impersonal but I realized it freed the waitresses up to make sure the cooks werent overrun with too many orders. If the cooks were then the waitresses would jump in and help them keep from getting too far behind. I never had a order sent back. I would give them 5 stars out of 5 if possible.

Best Old-school burgers in town and hands-down the best onion rings as well! Good people, old-time feel. My kids and I also love the chicken strip dinner (I split it between my 2 youngest). Their potato wedges are great too! Just writing this review is making me hungry! I always order my cheeseburger w/ a dry toasted bun extra pickles and mustard, no onions. But today- maybe Ill add fried onions.....mmmm....

If you are looking fro a quaint little burger joint then this will hit the spot. With a 50s feel and telephones you order through you will get an unique experience that will be hard to find. The burgers are very good and they come standard with potato wedges. The service is pleasant and they make you feel like one of the family.

Old fashion tasting burgers. Tasty tasty fries. Atmosphere is like being back in the 1900s. If they only served Mr. Pibb. Haha. Highly recommend the kicker if you like jalapeños. Their pies are to die for, (cant beat the fruit salad pie). The crust tastes like it was made from crisco. Go see for yourself, youll leave satisfied.

This place is incredible. Im here right now and Im not sure Ill leave. Ive been looking for the best burger in OKC since I moved here a year ago. Its about 45 minutes away from the city but Ill definitely drive back. Get the kicker if you enjoy spicy food, its one of the best burgers Ive ever had.

Love Hamburger King, love the hamburger baskets , chili , and home made pies..been coming here since The year 1970. Ive moved to Oklahoma city, but still come here once a month.for my Hamburger basket.took my son to hamburger king , now my grandson.as he would say, its the bomb.

The hamburgers are great. If your onion rings tasted like sponges then you should have sent them back. They arent so full of pride to admit a mistake. If they screw up something they will gladly correct it. They will do this to keep you as a customer.

I love this place. This is my hometown and this place has been around a lot longer than me. As a kid and still to this day it is one of my favorite places to grab a burger. It will always be a place with a lot of good memories and outstanding burgers.

Come for the burger, stay for the pie! Coconut cream pie is definitely my favorite! Nice atmosphere. Ordering from the table using the phone was a nice touch! Will be going back!
