I read all the glowing reviews and really was looking forward to trying this place. Im a huge fan of Thai food, and theyre close by, so seemed like stars were aligned. Guess not. Ordered by GrubHub and was quoted ~60 minutes to deliver. Given that the restaurant is less than 3 miles away, I figured that would be plenty of time. Fast forward an hour. I call. I give my name 3 times and my address twice and my order number several times as well. Im told my order cannot be found. I press a bit since my kids are getting upset - its well past their dinner time. Then Im told my order is out for delivery some time ago. I press again because this seems completely made up. Everyone on the other end of the line seems confused. Im told that the driver is on his way, so I take their word for it. GrubHub magically updates "out for delivery" as soon as I hang up. Fast forward another 30 minutes. The driver, who was supposedly coming to my place since before the last time I called is still not here, even though its a 5 minute drive. I call back to cancel. Im told that theyll update my record as canceled once the manager comes in. I guess Ill have to wait and see if I get my money back. Finally, I understand that mistakes happen. If this all gets resolved, Ill update the rating. If not I guess I call American Express and then hop on social media to inform as many more people as possible as to this terrible experience.

Why a 5 star????????? Being from Bangkok, Thailand we understand that finding a TRUE AUTHENIC Thai restaurant in Dallas, Texas is very difficult. And we have dined at many Thai restaurants in DFW area however the food is not as authentic, thus lacking certain ingredients to accomidate to the western taste pallet. When I refer to the word "authentic", that means....Tastes just like it would as if you were eating Thai food in Thailand. When we arrived, I made sure that I asked for the chef just to reassure myself that they were Thai and to request that our dishes included those ingredients that are usually subsituted to American taste. To my surprise when the food came out it was just right. Reminds me of back home. If youre looking for authentic Thai food which includes the authentic Thai Taste you have found the right place. If you say that their food doesnt taste like other Thai restaurants that you have dined at, thats is because they have modified their flavor to accomidate the western taste pallet.

The reason for the one star and me never ever getting food from them ever in my life again is because i put in a order for delivery and found out i ordered one wrong item and called them back to get the one item removed. First the lady that took my order over the phone couldnt understand me and i couldnt understand her. Very understandable. The manager then gets on the phone and tells me after me being on the phone with them placing my order and then calling them right back. That my order was already made and was leaving. So that was a 7min window. I tell him the issue how i oredered the wrong thing and i needed it off the ordered he tells me no we cant do that. I tell him i want the rest of my order just didnt want the one thing. He was rude and then tells me he was going to out my number on a list so i cant order from them anymore. Where is the customer service at when you order from this place with 55.00 bill.

Placed an order for the Tom Yum soup and Seafood in Clay Pot. The waitress brings out the soup and rice. The soup broth is sweet with NO heat and the added shrimp is limp and dark in color, not pink. I am waiting on my order as everyone else gets theirs, then another waitress finally realizes that I am waiting. They try to get it straight and say the order is now being prepared. The order then comes out after @ 5 minutes and is cold to the touch with the same limp old shrimp and rubbery cold seafood pieces. I eat a couple bites, leave the rest and proceed to pay. They ask how was it and I tell them how awful it was and they do not apologize and proceed to charge me for all of it. Please save yourself the trouble and STAY AWAY!

Food in bland with no taste compared to other good Thai restaurants around. The soup served during the lunch special is good but rest of the food is really tasteless. After I was issued the check and when I was ready with payment, the waitress came up with a tablet kind of a device and asked me to select a tip amount standing right over my head. I found this extremely disturbing as she was peeping to check how much tip I was giving. I have had much better Thai food around me, so if you like Thai food, this is not really the place. There are tonnes of good places elsewhere serving really tasty food. The Irony is the restaurant name " Yummy Thai" !!! Its no way near being Yummy.

First time I tried it for lunch it was great... However last night I ordered red curry tofu and a side of fried tofu Togo... I was super disappointed... When I got there after 20-30 minutes fried tofu was not ready so I was like its OK I dont want that, then I was told of its ready I didnt want to be rude so I was like sure why not... Got home and took out the tofu it looked like its been sitting there for a while and was double fried, oil smelled old... But I still wanted to try it... One bite and I had to spit it out... It was disgusting.... I dont know if I will return but if I do never ordering that again

We went there yesterday , We get a table we wait for minutes before somebody comes to get the order, after that we wait 35 minutes for our soup (that they forgot to bring). During this time the server never comes to apologize for the wait. During our long wait we heard a girl screaming in the table next to us and the reason was a cockroach running in the floor under her table. The soup and the appetizer spring roll arrived but both were very cold and not tasty. The chicken noodle were just ok and we eat only because we were starving and we will never come back.

They did not devein some of the shrimp in my meal and when I noticed it and brought it to the owners attention they did not want to discount or refund. She stated you ate the appetizers and then complain about the meal. Well it wasnt the appetizer that was unclean it was the meal. So, they didnt properly devein the shrimp and that could cause me to get sick, but apparently thats okay. The also messed up on the order the first time and I sat and waited for water for quite some time. TERRIBLE RESTAURANT AND BAD SERVICE!

Lunch special was well priced but I didnt like their pad thai at all. It had a lot of gravy and i was expecting it to be bit dry. In fact I have been to so many thai restaurants and pad thai here was very different than the other thai restaurant - i dont know why? Soup and the appetizer was good. At the time of writing the check - the waitress was forcing me to pay the higher tip amount using the tablet - thats disgusting and quite embrassing. I feel these folks might be bit racist against the indian origin folks.
