Good food, good portions, reasonably priced. Vale (old English word for earth) caters to the healthy, fitness and gym oriented types who seek freshly prepared, mostly organic, high protein food. Heavy college crowd as it is in Collegetown. Their menu is static (doesnt change often/rarely) and overall, most items taste good which helps them create many return customers. ®®Caveat: parking is an absolute nightmare. EVERYTHING is metered or permit required. Towing companies are ruthless, soulless vultures and are ridiculously prominent, even for FSU area!! Meters recently switched from somewhat reasonable city run operation to a fully private, significantly more expensive, smartphone required system > bottom line-a total money whoring, predator-like operation. Be careful down there!!!

Vale Food Co. provides an unrivaled selection of healthy food options at an affordable price without having to walk into a grocery store (Whole Foods, Lucky Market). Vale Food Co. provides two primary options, regular or large portions. The regular portion comes with one choice of a carb, vegetable, and protein, while the large portion give you double options. The food has always been fresh, healthy and satisfying. My personal favorite is the Chipotle Mac nCheese. Vale Food Co.s one draw back is its location, being located smack dab in the heart of College Town within close proximity to FSUs campus. Traffic near campus can get pretty hectic, but for Vale Food Co. its worth the trek.

The food is great. Healthy food that actually tastes great, and I highly recommend the restaurant. However, DO NOT get the meal plan. The people who are in charge of that part of the business are as dumb as it gets. I cant even tell you how many times I had to call them because my food never even came. There were also times where they put somebody elses dietary restrictions on MY account. Not to mention all the times I only got ONE meal in my delivery even though I was on a two meal plan. I recommend going to he actual restaurant, but I will never get their meal plan again!!!

Vale was probably going to become one of my favorite restaurants, but they randomly upped prices on already expensive food, reduced the quantity of food they give, and refused to honor their Hooked advertisement for $5 for a small bowl, which was the only reason I came. Most of their meat is dry half the time, but I was content being limited to their delicious meatballs and veggies; however, the price difference combined with the smaller amounts makes it hardly worth it anymore.

Management is highly unprofessional and unreliable. My office recently tried to coordinate a catering with Vale Food Co; everything was going smoothly with the events planner, then when the owner got involved it all derailed. The food was NOT ready on time and several hours LATE. After speaking with other local offices it seems to be that this is an ongoing trend. Do not use Vale Food Co for any events or catering services.

I used the hooked app promotion (5$ ANY small bowl). So I ordered a steak bowl. Vale tried to charge me 7.50$ and refused to validate their advertisement. The manager threw away my steak bowl and made me a chicken bowl. The cashier then said "youre the only one to confuse that." False advertising, poor customer service, rude staff, and the chicken was dry.

Vale has some of the best healthy food options in Tallahassee, and has a great meal plan option. I saw a few negative comments about the meal plans, but I think they have a new person in charge of them. Im pretty sure her name is Kelly. She was super nice and really seemed to know what she was doing. Id definitely recommend getting a meal plan.

Wow! This place is delicious and so healthy. Plenty of gluten-free options, as well as vegetarian options. The food portions were pretty good-sized, and prices are reasonable. The music is a bit loud, hard to hear yourself if youre trying to have a conversation. Overall a great experience though! Perfect walking distance from FSU.

Food was expensive and in fairly small portions. It felt healthy to eat but the flavors were mad mediocre. I enjoyed the mushrooms and broccoli but my meat and grains were fairly flavorless. However, the dragon fruit lemonade was fire emoji.
