Ive seen several people compare this to a Cheddars. I agree. Ive always been pleased with my meal at Cheddars and I was happy with the food and the service at Aspen Creek too. I think this is even a bit better. In short - excellent for a chain restaurant (though Ive only ever seen one, its definitely chain). I started with a salad which was excellent - healthy green leaves with a very thick and creamy ranch. I got a ribs and steak dinner. The steak was not steak-restaurant quality (marbled and tender), but it was properly cooked, tasty and not too much gristle - a good steak for a chain restaurant. The ribs were excellent: fall off the bone tender with a perfect zingy sweet BBQ sauce. For sides I had mashed potatoes, which were actually not good - had a metallic taste, but the broccoli was quite satisfactory. My beverage was an apple cider which was fantastic! The decor, well you can see from the photos. Its a wee bit "over the top" on the outside to make a point about the theme. Inside, though, I liked: dark authentic ski lodge lighting, not overly kitsch, booth seats were quality upholstery, casually friendly waitstaff. The bathroom impressed me - individual TVs over the urinals, upscale rubbed brass pump/trough style faucets into black sinks. Overall, I was very satisfied with my meal at Aspen Creek. If I lived in the area, Id go often. I wish them well. I hope that they expand the chain to where I live.

We went here for a birthday party. When we walked in we werent greeted, as we approached the host station I informed the associated that were were there for a party. She had no idea what was going on, and said that there was no party, and had someone set us at a booth. I was extremely confused as to what was going on. Once at the booth another representative walked over to us and apologized for sitting us there and directed us to sit where the party was being held. The party had about 20 guest and only 1 server, the poor guy dropped several glasses and drinks near us splattering my daughters clothing, myself and the gift we bought, he actually ended up dropping several more glasses and plates at least 2 other times that night. He really needed help, the service was slow. The food was actually pretty good but the portions where very small especially for the price. One of the funniest things is the fact that we would pay so much money for so little food. The menu had several spelling errors, spot of their food is made from "scatch", pictures below. I will never host a party here that is for sure, but may give them a chance for a small family outing. I do have to give a little credit to a few of the servers co-workers who started helping him towards the end.

My second visit here in two years. I was very impressed the first time I visited here. I coined this place as the place that has "the best steak I have ever had for under 20 bucks period!" Today we visited again and we dined as a part of three. 2 steaks medium and 1 steak medium-well. To make a long story short. My steak was awesome (as before) but maybe done closer to medium-well than medium. BUT the medium-well was more than well-done to the point the steak was dry to eat. We mentioned the situation to our server and she very promptly brought over the Manager (Aaron). He promptly asked how he could rectify the situation and didnt went about bringing out a new steak done to my parties specification. The way Aaron (Manager) handled the situation today was both classy and professional. So I effectively got 5 Star value and 5 Star service. It is no surprise to me that this restaurant was packed at 8pm on a work day! PS. Get the steak with the blue cheese. I find is a cut above their cheaper streaks.

this place is great! ok first off, for all of us who like to go out and have an occasional drink, this place is great. why? because nothing is watered down-its gonna hit you and hit you hard, if you are a sports fan your gonna love having a flat screen tv in all directions, even in front of the uranil lol. Secondly the food is priced very well, but at the same time the portions are more than enough for you. For example i go and often wont order a meal because i get the creek fries(a must try) and cant finish them. when i do order i always get one of ther many selections of different seasoned chicken sandwiches or hamburgers! The service is excellent as well. There is always MORE THAN ONE manager walking around making sure everyone is satisified but the dont annoy you the just insure the employees are doing their job correctly. I go there often its one of my favorite places to eat in dallas. A must go if you are your family is flying into dallas, it is located maybe 10 mins from dfw airport.

My cousin was in town from Hawaii and since we were in this area a few days ago, my family & I decided to come here for dinner, after the great reviews I read. The food was great. For appetizers, we ordered the fried mushrooms and chips w/queso & salsa. The mushrooms, YUM!. The queso was good too, the salsa, not so much. It tasted like watered down tomato sauce. Entree, I ordered the mushroom & swiss burger. It could have used some seasoning but overall, it was fantastic. The only thing I did not like was the waitress that we had. She was very inattentive. The only time she came to our table was to give us our food, to take our plates away when we finished & to give us our check . No drink refills unless another waiter from our area had seen we needed refills. Very pleased with him. Oh btw, the alcohol drinks are strong. So, just be prepared!

I have visited this location quite often and the customer service has decreased tremendously! I visited today and had the ultimate disappointment, no one served me. I walked in alone, told the young lady I needed a table for one and was seated. I waited a few minutes, viewed the menu and waited for my server to come to greet me and take my drink order. No one ever came. It didnt see busy as I was the only one seated in that section. After almost 20 minutes I took my menu back to the front and told them and the manager that I hadnt been served and had decided to spend my money somewhere where it would be better appreciated. I get the deer in headlight look from management and staff, so I politely leave. They are definitely now on my blacklist! Oh how Im gonna miss the sweet potato casserole, it is so good. Guess I better learn to make my own.
