Tried for 30 minutes to call at 7:30 pm tonight. Finally just went there and ordered in person...they have seriously good shrimp poboys (usually)... The man working was outside on personal calls the majority of the time. While waiting for our food the phone rang several times but the guy working was outside on his phone. Sadly, the bread tonight was stale and the tomato mushy. Gross. Super disappointed. Hoping it was just an unusual bad night for the cook and maybe they will hire better help because I dont want to have to refer to myself as a former customer... Seriously, Two Sisters owners...dont let a terrible employee ruin your business.

Do not let the modest look of this hidden gem fool you. Though sparsley decorated and adorned by autographs of previous patrons, the food here is outstanding. Disappointed that we missed out on coming here earlier, out family will make up for that soon. Two sisters had an extensive New Orleans menu with deep home cooking. The best red beans and rice this side of the TX/LA border. The Po boy French bread is delightfully soft yet crusty. Okra fried perfectly without being burned or greasy. Dont forget to ask for the secret Sunday Sauce for dipping. This little spot has some of the best and most polite wait staff.

This place is pretty good I like the shrimp or crawfish balls the Crab cake was pretty good too. I have had the wings i get them hot and they ar good too. My wife and i split the smothered pork chop. It comes with rice two pork chops green beans and potato salad. its enough for us to split. The gravy that is on that is like heaven. I could eat the rice and gravy alone.I highly recomend eating here if you are in the area. This was my second time and I will definatly be back. I am looking forward to trying the gumbo, etoufee and the jumbalaya.

The food is absolutely delicious. I enjoy the food I get from Two Sisters Restaurants each time that I either eat in or take out. The thing that needs change is the service. It is not good. Either they dont have sufficient personnel to maintain the restaurant or the personnel dont remain visible in the dining area. For persons coming in to order food to take out, there is never a service person in the area. You always have to wait. The restaurant area should never be left without an employee present.

What I ordered it really didnt have the cajun flare I was hoping for. I ordered the fried pickles which needed some pizzazz, spice something these where plain. Ordered boudin rolls which were really good but I think it needed some sauce drizzled over them. We also ordered the fish and shrimp combination which came as a fish basket with shirmp served on the side and a plain piece of toast l. Food was well cooked but what this place needs is better food presentation.

I grew up in South Louisiana (Houma), which is about 60 miles west of New Orleans and the start of Cajun country, or as we like to say "down the bayou." "D" s (Dorsett the owner) food is the "real deal". Its the only Cajun restaurant in the Metroplex I will even go to. The other "Cajun knock offs" around town dont even come close. If you want a taste of what real Cajun food and New Orleans PO-boys are all about give it a try. You wont regret it.

We have been here many times, and my husband was born in New Orleans, and grew up in Louisiana, so he is particular about his Cajun food. The people are very nice, and the food is outstanding! My brother and his family come to see us once a year, is this is the place they always ask to come to, while here. Amongst many other dishes, the Roast Beef Poorboy is wonderful, and I love the crab and crawfish balls. Now my secret restaurant is outed!

This is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at. They never fail to do their job of delivering the best cajun and creole food around. The only complaint that anyone could have about this place is that their food has so much flavor and could be almost too delicious for some (who like bland food) to enjoy. If you dont like yummy deliciousness in your mouth I would steer clear of Two Sisters restaurant.

The food was OK. We went today and the food was ok nothing to brag about, we werent impressed. The service was the worst, after they took our order they didnt check on us anymore. We asked for our drinks to be refilled and they never refilled them, I always leave a tip but today I did not, because the service was so bad. We will never go back ever!

What a nice find. Really good food, lots of standards on the menu, great flavors. Full dinner ordered to go, took only about 15 minutes to get. Normally I have to put pepper sauce on the dishes for flavor, but not here. Pasta Mardi Gras, Crawfish Ettoufee over Catfish, Red Beans and Rice, Crab Cakes, Cornbread, Fried Pickles. We are going back!

First time eating good home cooked southern food. And I cant say how good it was. The waitress was very charming and happy to offer suggestions. Going for the Catfish Etouffe was a great pick, and I left very. Very. Happy! I only regret I was only able to visit once. It would be a mainstay in my weekly life if I was closer!

Hier hatten wir ein leckeres Südstaaten Buffet. Dazu gab es einen sehr süßen Icetee! Wir können das two sisters kitchen nur weiterempfehlen!

The atmosphere is family like. lots of love in the cooking. The cat fish eutoffe was delish! They crawfish gravy over the fried catfish was amazing. Shrimp poboy came on a really soft French bread. The gumbo had a nice consistency and lots of flavor. They are not stingy on the meat.

Family owned restaurant hidden in Hurst. We tried the catfish and crawfish balls and crab balls. The catfish had the light corn meal breading which is my favorite. We will be going back to try some of the other choices.

Excellent hole in the wall Cajun restaurant. Went on a Saturday to an empty restaurant and we eventually had some company but for those not their they missed excellent New Orleans neighborhood food.
