UNCOOKED RICE AND GAVE ME EGG WHEN MY DAD IS ALLERGIC TO EGG. NEVER COMING HERE AGAIN !!! This place and it management doesnt care one bit about their customers. Yesterday I order shrimp fried rice with no egg. First they ended up giving me uncooked rice, and I mean UNCOOKED RICE like hard rice I couldnt even bite my food. After going back to get another shrimp fried rice they tried to charge me after they said they were going to just give me the rice. After that I look inside ready to eat I served my dad who is allergic to eggs (hint why we got NO EGG) once I look into it there was egg. Furiously I went up there and after stating my claim she choose to tell me that wasnt egg which clearly was. Im a customer and she gave me nothing but attitude. She said shell give me my money back but honestly as I told her at the end of the day 6$ isnt worth my dad life and that is why I will never go here again. I hope that they lose their business because they way she handle the situation I should of just called inspections and told them what happened. It was like she didnt care at all. Told me take the money. They dont clean there skillets they just reuse it. Plus by dinner time all that food is already been sitting out since morning. The cooks dont care they are lazy and the managers just want the money. Theyre is better place and cheaper to go to. They lost my service and I hope they lose more. you should just go somewhere that appreciate your money and want to give you good service. Go somewhere get way better food

After the mixed reviews, I was concerned, but still curious. Thought a lunch would be a good test, as often a buffet will not lead with its best food at lunchtime. My friend and I were both very pleased with the selection and quality of the food. It was hot and fresh, and a good selection. Several kinds of shrimp, chicken, pork, salmon, fried fish; beans, mushrooms, biscuits, mussels, rolls, desserts. Good value for the money. My only reservation is the fact that nobody who helped us seemed to speak any English at all. Let me be specific: the people I spoke to could not respond to the question "Shall we go serve ourselves? Do we get our own plates?" and another rewording or two. They seemed baffled by my asking for "ice water" (I got iced tea; and then, when we said no refill, we received a refill), and by my asking for tartar sauce (this received no response whatever, beyond a nonplused expression). Im not meaning to be unkind; just the opposite. I would think itd be in their interests all around to work on learning English.

I come here once a year to remind myself why I never frequent a Chinese food buffet. They do have a large variety of food to select from to include sushi and while it is hot, I dont necessarily think its fresh (they seem to stand by the motto "if you refrigerate it, it lasts another day or two and quite possibly a week, right?!?) If your stomach can bare this possibility, or you enjoy a great value ("it may be stale but hey, I was able to eat three plates full!"), then this is your home away from home for all your Chinese buffet needs. Toast to you Bargain Barren, Oh Wiseman of the Wasabi, Chewer of the Chowmein, Emperor of the Eggroll, dont let the Great Wall of Hate block your fate with becoming "The One" (that forgot the Pepto!) Feast Away!

The food is good, and they really do have fresh sushi. Some buffets say they have sushi but its only the california rolls. Nice selections of items. My complaints are I always end up sitting by families that the kids do not behave. I have kids, but I do not let my kids scream, cry and run around and distrurb other patrons. The other complaint I have is some of the food there is not warm enough. I dont like my food very hot, but for my to send my plate to the the microwave....something is wrong. I am the type of person that when a waitress comes back to check on me, I still havent had a bite of my food because it is still to how for me. I would rather go somewhere else to eat in peace without screaming kids. Food is great but thats it.

The food is decent. However, the management is piss poor. I ordered to-go, and the lady at the front desk told me I was asking for too much when I asked for a second container to put my sweet and sour sauce in. Mind you, the containers are itty bitty! I told her I was paying the same price as those sitting down, and if I was sitting down, Id be able to pour a whole bowl of sauce without any problem...so what was the problem? The lady just completely ignored me! Shes always rude, but this particular time was it for me. Needless to say, I will not be going back. Part of what you pay for is service, and I cant say that I get it here. I will gladly make the 45 minute drive to my old spot.

The workers stared at us the whole time that we were eating it was so uncomfortable when we were eating at the buffet a huge rat ran across the floor and when we try to tell them they said it ran from outside but we told them it came from the back But all they said is no problem just eat I should have headed for the door than but we stayed. Once it was time to pay I paid my bill they swipe my credit card and took off more than what I was supposed to pay. my family will not be going there againhad to rush my daughter to the hospital the next day because she had food poisoning overall dont waste your money not worth it

I had been coming here on and off for over a year until about 2 months ago. I took my mom and 2 brothers to eat there and, my brother discovered a ROACH in the lomein. When our server showed the plate to the manager he looked over at us and gave us the most evil look like it was our fault. He never apologized to us or even said a word to us as we left. I feel sorry for whoever ate that contaminated lomein after we left. I now realize that i should have made a scene to expose the diners that evening of the situation. DONT EAT THERE, THEY NEED THE HEALTH INSPECTOR TO CHECK THEIR KICHEN!

This is the second time Ive tried Lucky Star and both times, the food tasted days old and the selection was poor for the price. The militant lady at the door seating people had the nerve to ask my 8 yr old son and his friend how old they were. YOU DO NOT ADDRESS CHILDREN WHEN THEIR PARENT OR GUARDIAN IS PRESENT. She didnt even ask me, the adult. I guess she thought Id lie about their ages. Needless to say, I will not be spending my money there again. Such a shame. Its around the corner. SMH

Probably one of the worst experiences I have had at a buffet. The food made both my fiancé and I instantly sick. When we told them a good portion of their seafood was bad and should be removed and that it was making us sick and we barely ate and they didnt even try to make it any better they asked us to pay full price for what would have amounted to maybe a plate of food. I would never go here again. The food is awful they have poor standards and poor customer service techniques.
