Well where do I start. Hum, I was hoping that La Forchetta would be a little hidden gem. I always wounderd about the establishment; due to its proximity to my house. I read the reviews on google and noticed it had 4.5 stars rating. I was impressed with everyones description and decided to visit. The resturant is clean upon entering and looks alittle antiquated with its design choices. Looks like a CiCis Pizza and an Olive Garden had a baby. The avarage price for an entree is about $13.99 and the drinks are $3.99 for a domestic beer. I ordered a grilled chicken dish. The chicken was dry and over cooked with a bland watery wine sauce. The pasta was soft and limp with a bottled alfredo suace. The portions were smaller for the quilty of food served. I will not be visiting again. The service was good and the beer was served in a chilled mug. Word of advice, save yourself $20 for one person and eat any where else.

This is my first time here. This area desperately needed an Italian restaurant and I think la forchetta does a good job filling that need. They have a small salad bar that really makes this restaurant. It has just enough variety to make it interesting and is just big enough to be slightly filling. You receive bread and oil mix as an appetizer, but I felt like the lunch meal was missing something. It was the garlic bread. Just order it with your meal. Its very good and completes the meal. Also the lunch portion is small, but its a lunch special. Not sure about dinner portions. I think the menu could definitely use a pick 2 or pick 3 option for a slightly higher price. They are attentive as well and seem to care about their restaurant. My glass was never empty. Will return next time I get the Italian food craving.

Went tonight never been before. My daughter ordered spaghetti and did not like the taste the first bite. It was watered down sauce with seasoning that tasted like the whole jar fell in the sauce. We asked to return it and get something she could eat and was charged for both. Then we never once got a refill on our drinks. They do not have a kids menu. The waitress argued with us when we said we would not pay for the spaghetti. Prices way to high for the quality and quantity of food. DO NOT GO. oh only if you go on Facebook and like the place and give a good review they will give a 10% discount. They could offer me a free meal and I would not go to Facebook and lie to people!!!

The waiter was really nice and attentive, the restaurant was very clean. The food is the reason for this bad review. I ordered the large pepperoni pizza. The pizza looked cheap and unapitazing. The bread looked like that cheap white bread you see at elementary school pizza. The pizza itself had no flavor, I had to heavily season it with codaments. For $13.50 I expect a higher quality pizza because you can get a really awesome pizza at dominos for 7.99. The solution is simple, the restaurant needs to get higher quality ingrediants.

La Forchetta is a restaurant for those of low standards. For medium prices, one would expected an either large or great-tasting dish, but it satisfies neither. We ordered the chicken fettuccine alfredo and spaghetti and meatballs to-go. It came with "bread" that tastes like a dry Great Value loaf about expire. The pastas and meats were subpar and the portions were limited for the price. When I went inside to pick up my order [Tuesday evening @ 6:30], the place was virtually empty, but it still took me a while to get my food.

The food was terrible, no flavor, and over priced. My meal came with spaghetti noodles and marinera. I asked the guy if he could just put alfredo sauce instead. The waiter said sure no problem. He then turns around and charges me an extra $2. Doesnt tell me he is going to...just sneaks it on my bill. The only thing good about this place is the location. The food literally taste like cheap noodles and jar sauce from the dollar store. I understand now why the place was empty when I went in.

Wow ordered the pepperoni and ground beef pizza tonight with a potatoe soup for my daughter... It was amazing the pizza was so light and airy it was not heavy or salty at all nor greasy. One of the best pizza weve ever eaten. The soup was delicious too and came with French roll my husband and I loved it so much we were dipping our pizza crust into the soup. We enjoyed it very much and will surely order again.. we ordered delivery and came To our location at reasonable time.

Service was slow. I had to yell across the parlor to get the servers attention. Short staffed. The frozen ravioli is frozen. In terms of food the pizza is a half above Cicis. The bottom of the pizza was soggy and the cheese unmelted. The pizza lacked sauce. It can be best described as a dry rub of sauce. The meat is all prepacked/bagged ingredients. The only positive is that the vegetables were fresh and hand chopped. The best thing I had was the fountain drink.

Best lunch in months. Ordered Chicken Marsala. Chicken cooked perfectly and seasoned properly. The Marsala comes with a side of pasta and red sauce. Pasta cooked al dente and the red gravy flavors balanced nicely. Not acidic, not too sweet. Service was as good as Cullens. Two people working the floor, half full of couples and one 12 top. Tea/water glasses were kept filled, order was taken promptly and food brought quickly. Highly recommend

Wow, Chicken Alfredo Pizza is delicious. Loaded with toppings and cheese blend is just wonderfully gooey! Crust is crispy and cheese on the edges is golden and bubbly. Staff is super attentive at lunch. This is a hidden gem for pizza. Pasta next time we come. ........... Update 6/2016 Chicken alfredo pizza still excellent. Alredo pasta was dull. Chicken parmasean was dry but crispy. Marina was flat. So stick to pizza. Service was very good.

Iceberg lettuce salad that looked like something I would throw down the garbage disposal. Husband had spaghetti and meatballs that had very salty taste. Spaghetti overcooked. My Crawfish with Pomodoro Sauce was smothered in a cream sauce which is not true Pomodoro sauce. Only good part was nice and attentive server. We had high hopes for good Italian restaurant in Pearland but this is not it! Dont waste your time or money!

Absolutely LOVE this place. The service is excellent and the food is great. Weve loved everything weve tried on the menu and can always count on this place to provide great food. It is a little higher than average price but well-worth it. Its also NEVER crowded which is a shame for them but great if you hate crowds. Were very grateful to have stumbled upon La Forchetta.

Mid-sized roach crawled out of my napkin that my fork and knife was in. We told the waitress, and she went a told the manager. He told her to tell us he apologizes; however, he never came over himself. The restaurant was not busy...I assumed it was due to it being early for dinner (3:30 pm). Still, he did not come over. Then the waitress came back with my bill. Hmmm...

Awesome staff. I have been coming here since this place opened. They now sell wine and beer by the way. They also added a salad bar. Call ahead of time and get a pick-up order or come during the week for a peaceful lunch. Love the atmosphere as well. Favorite dish: Italian Capellini.
