I ordered from Cowboys & Indians on Amazon Restaurants last night. I wish I could blame the delivery part, but the main problem was bad food and tiny portions of bad food. My dinner was unacceptable. I ordered the Shrimp Malai Curry, I was hesitant because it is an $18 dish. I decided it must be big portions and exceptional quality, so I gave it a chance. Im regretful. The entree was served in a dual compartment plastic take out container and the compartment with the curry was less than half full. There were about 3 or 4 fluid ounces of Curry, and five small to medium shrimp. I put a bill in the photo for scale and have a measure tape next to the dish to show you how little food there was. Additionally, there was a visible pool of oil on top of the "curry" that had zero essence of Prawn Malai and was mostly a salt bomb. Nothing about it looked appetizing or was redeeming. Essentially I paid $18 for a cup of greasy shrimp broth.

On the menu it stated that the dish that was ordered came with an onion salad. Hummmmm....I dont think small slices of onion and some cilantro constitute as a salad, maybe they need to put garnished with..... If you are a novice to spicy, stay clear of the Indian spices. As a veteran, it was still hot and cleared out my sinuses quite well. No refills for drinks came, at all. After the initial delivery of our entrées, we only saw our server once more, and it was not to provide refills of water. Thought some small, but important, things arose. I would try this establishment again.

We were excited to try a fusion cuisine but left wanting so much more. We had the beef kabob plate and could not chew through the beef because it was so tough and almost raw. The naan that came with the plate seemed store bought and not fresh. At the end of the meal, we were charged the wrong bill and almost paid 30 dollars more than what we ordered, if I hadnt checked my bill. I would not recommend this place for food, maybe the drinks are ok, but we didnt try anything after the disappointing food.

Friendly service, reasonably priced. Plenty of outdoor seating available. Chicken fried steak a bit tough, butter chicken ok, lamb chop vidaloo misses the mark; classic cheeseburger + avacado & bacon and the naan chicken quesadillas with tamarind chutney were my two favorites. Samosas were good, but pathetically small and might satisfy two people if you order another appetizer. Japadillo was the only IPA so dont bring a beer snob. Cocktails were decent.

they are extremely fraudulent and the food is so so bad. I went there to pick up food for a customer, they never had the items necessary to make the food, instead of explaining and apologizing to the customer they resorted to telling lies that I got lost and did not get there on time hence the delay even while I was there and they practically begged me to wait for the food to be ready. Finally, the food was a total mess. Please never go there.

We really enjoyed this place. It especially great if you like Indian food but your friends are less adventurous. There was food that appealed to both sides of the spectrum. The better chicken was by far the family favorite. What made the experience even better was the service. The owner personally came to talk to us several times and the entire wait staff was charming and helpful. Definitely enjoyed it!

Ordered food from grub hub.Got Daal taarka, butter chicken tikka masala, and veggie samosa. Was the worst Indian food Ive ever eaten. Both dishes were too liquid. It was like eating flavored water soup. There was no texture to the gravies. The veggie samosas tasted like frozen samosas that were flash-fried. Even the rice tasted odd. Really bad experience.

I was pleasantly surprised - nice ambiance and great food. I recently started eating more a plant-based diet and the menu had plenty of options. I had Chana masala and my wife had daal tarka. Both were delicious and the portions were generous. The menu lives up to the billing of a "Tex-In" place; Texas classics and Indian fare. Try it. Youll like it.

So good! I love Indian food, and Cowboys and Indians is now one of my favs. Its surprising to see how all-over-the-map the reviews are here. I was there with two friends, and we were unanimous in our praise...of the food and the service. Im taking another friend later this week.

No real fusion of Indian and American cooking just different styles of options. Also, its a bit overpriced for the menu and quality. Our samosas were small frozen samosas. I can say this is the one of the only restaurants in the area that serves a predominant Indian option.

Okay, so 15 reviews read later, I get that this place is...uneven. BUT, today, the food is great, the fusion is present and worth trying. Caveat- why salty salty cfs breading? The service is good. Perfect, no. But good. Will come again. PS try the green beans

The Indian food is authentic. I had the dal tarka, butter chicken and chicken tikka masala with naan bread and raita. Everything was delicious. I would have given it 5 stars but the dessert was probably the worst Ive had. I had the kheer for dessert.

Really good I tried the spicey lamb chop curry dish and it was amazing. Had a bite of my sisters butter chicken tikka misala and also very good. Fast service and affordable prices. If youre in the area and cant decide where to eat this is a must.

Amazing Indian food! We sat by the bar and had margaritas and got the butter chicken tikka masala spicy. It was so good and the quesadilla is like an amazing grilled cheese sandwich. Its an amazing little spot for authentic Indian in midtown.

Try the sliders! Delicious food and friendly service. I could tell they are a new business trying to get their word out. I love to support the local small businesses and would recommend trying this place out.

Its a nice neighborhood place that serves a few Indian and southern dishes. It isnt great at either cuisine, but I think given time, they could develop into a very good restaurant.
