A Diamond in the Rough When this place first open several months ago I passed by. I had been looking for new places in the area and this place met the criteria, When I went in I was perhaps the only person in there. Some of the items on the buffet were not the best because they had been sitting out. However, overall my experience was a good one, enough for me to return. Over the last few months Indian Palace has hit its stride and the food is spectacular. Most important for me is Goat Curry, Tandoori Chicken, and Chicken Masala aka Butter Chicken. All of these are delicious and just as I like them. Of course there is the issue where since the buffet changes from time to time not all of your favorites will be on the buffet. The Friday, Saturday and Sunday Buffets feature some great extras like goat curry.

Definitely Food taste has detoriated since my last visit 4 months ago. Tandoori chicken had no flavor in it (insufficiently marinated ) but it had the red color on it; infact it was insufficiently cooked. Chicken biryani absolutely had no masala in it. I am sure rice and chicken were separately cooked and mixed together just a few minutes ago. Fish curry was made to order ; it had too much of ginger and was very bitter. Some customers left the restaurant after seeing the buffet. One family ordered a la- carte food and avoided the buffet. Paying $14 on a weekend buffet here is not worth it for this quality. Looks like the business is struggling and they are cutting the food cost.Very less non veg food on buffet trays.

Today Me n my friends visited Indian palace.... I can only suggest Indian food lovers not to come here... this is our first n last visit to this place.... not even a single food item is good.... "NOT EVEN A SINGLE ITEM" Firstly there are no much items in buffet which are all reheated frozen food n second thing is there is no salt, no oil, no masala actually no flavor atleasttttt.... goddddd!!!!! Dz place is not worth of spending 11.99+ tax for buffet... please dont waste your money

After going through all reviews we went to Indian palace I dont know how people likes food here... All food items are made out of canned tomato sauce I guess.... because every item we tried in buffet were so sweet it was not at all spicy I mean no spicy at all... I would not really suggest this place... plz try some other best places around or visit restaurants in dallas to get good Indian food

On the recommendation of our neighbors in Briarmeadow, we ate at the brand new Indian Palace Restaurant. It is located in a shabby shopping center on Hillcroft, but it is first class inside. We do not have much experience with Indian food, but were pleasantly surprised at the service, quality, and taste of the food. As a bonus, the prices are extremely reasonable.

Nice Food. South Indian taste was clearly visible. Goat fry and Goat curry was awesome. The Palak panner was good. Chicken dishes were also good. But highlight was the Mutton. Biriyani was also good. The Dining atmosphere was very nice. The service was also very good. Indian chips and other side dishes available.

This is definitely among the best Kerala (South Indian) restaurants in Houston. Tasty authentic Kerala dishes. Extremely clean premises and rest room (rare among Kerala restaurants here). Prices are 10% higher than than the regular Kerala restaurants, but the quality is well worth the price.

I am from Dallas and it was by chance I found this place while I was visiting Houston on a long weekend. I had biryani, which was sumptuous to say the least. My friends had masala Dosa which was equally good. Reminded me of home. Recommended wholly.

We traveled from MN to Houston and found this restaurant based on reviews online. Great food , lot of variety. South Indian and North Indian. We are from Kerala, there were several authentic Kerala items there as well. We loved the experience.

Excellent service and food. I had the butter chicken and chicken tikka masala and they were delicious. Their garlic Nan is also extremely tasty. They use actual garlic and it is so soft! Very good tasting food. And the owners are very polite.

went there for a Sunday buffet, very pricey if you are a vegetarian as there are absolutely no options for Veggies, only one Appetizer. None of the Curry was good for Vegetarian. Avoid if you are a Vegetarian !
