I just went today to try out the place and i will outline the few things that gave it three stars. Food: Good Food was pretty good, i had two of the benedicts as well as their house coffee. The coffee is a little bitter and my only complaint was the coffee bean shard at the bottom of the cup. Their hash browns are the best as they cook and season them just right as well as the Irish and original benedicts. The portions are decently sized but i thing it is a little pricey. Atmosphere: ok The place feels more like a open food court with its tiled floors and tall ceilings, but it is missing its flair. The color is pretty much black and white with brown tiles and they cover some of the walls with coffee bags and a few pieces of art. The noise though is what kills it, between the echoing of everyone else talking and the numerous machines smacked dab in the middle of the restaurant it was hard to keep a conversation. I would recommend coloring the walls a different color and filling the walls with more art, maybe a little background music wouldnt hurt. Service: ok The first minute i walked in my group was ignored for 10 minutes as the hostess was also helping with tables and other customers and none of the passing waiters bothered to say hi. Seating for waiting the 10 minutes we did is pretty sparse and is a reason most big groups waited outside. Our waitress got our drinks pretty fast once we sat down but took her 15 minutes to get our order taken after passing us multiple times. it also took over 15 minutes to get our check and leave once we did eat. The food did come out but it came out in bunches as they were taking out multiple tables at the same time. I would recommend having someone keep an eye on the front counter more often as well as have a more engaging staff that at least says hi be with you in a minute as well as checks on the tables in a timely manner. I would also suggest taking out a tables order completely instead of one piece here and another piece two minutes later as you fill anothers table. It would have been nice to see a manager or owner running around to and check on the tables, i couldnt even figure out which one was running the place at all and its very alienating to me as a customer. The only other thing i can say is parking is limited and most of the time you will have to park in the parking lot infront of the car wash but i cant blame that on them. Most of the problems can be fixed pretty easily but for now its just there as it is.

This definitely comes across as one of the best places to have breakfast in the Lewisville/Highland Village area. Food: After starting off with a warm cup of coffee, we ordered Veggie Benny and Vegan Vigas. Veggie benny was amazing. The eggs were poached perfectly and the hollandaise was brilliant. The saute veggies were good and the seasoning just elevated the overall taste. Hashbrowns were more of scrambled instead of flatbread style which was good. Overall, the presentation was very good. Vegan vigas was good but, perhaps, too heavy for a breakfast. In terms of taste, it was really good. The tofu was scrambled well and black beans tasted delicious. However, not sure if tortilla really goes well with this - kind of Asian-Mexican fusion. However, overall, the food was absolutely amazing. Ambiance: The place is quite spacious in an L-shaped seating arrangement. A typical cafe feeling. The seats at the corner of L, overseeing the main road is good as you get good amount of natural light as well. Even though the restaurant was quite full by the time we were having our breakfast, it wasnt so noisy. Service: Service is very good and fast. The lady attending us regularly checked if we need anything and if the food was good (asked a bit too many times actually). However, the staff was good overall. This place is a must go for breakfast if you are around this area. Amazing food, great ambiance and service.

Goofy name. Great food. Seven Mile Cafe is one of Flower Mounds culinary gems. With plenty of gluten-free options, and even "breakfast booze," there is truly something for everyone. What you care about... - Service is fast and friendly, and wait staff has little turnover, which is indicative of good management and a level of esprit de core. Its nice to see the same faces at an establishment one likes. - Prices are higher than most diner/cafés, but you can taste the difference. - The coffee is quality. You will want a cup to go. - Family friendly? Absolutely. Coloring crayons and pages for the young and young at heart. - Wait times? Due to its popularity among the locals, the wait can be lengthy, but its worth it. - Menu options. From basic to creative dishes, there is something for everyone. Just dont expect to see "omelettes" on the menu. These are called "Scrambles" at 7M. - The biscuits are amazing, particularly when topped with 7Ms raspberry jam, which is the only fresh jam they offer. - WiFi? Yep. See you at 7 Mile.

This place is amazing. Jenna provided amazing service. Their gravy is tops. Fried chicken is amazing. Coffee selection is awesome. I wasnt a huge fan of the chicken fried steak but I am a bit particular. I plan to come back here often. I am very impressed. UPDATE: Went back again today for fathers day. It was every bit as awesome as our first visit. Gabby provided stellar service and the food was amazing again. The grits! You MUST try the grits! And those hash browns! If you havent been here, make the trip. You wont be sorry. If nothing better, the coffee is worth it.

Food was good but way over priced. Although service was adequate, service with a smile is not practiced here. Most of the waitstaff walked around like they were running on two hours of sleep. $3.50 for a cup of coffee is too high for me. Two of us ate. I ordered coffee, 3 eggs and sausage only. My buddy had water and the Biscuit N Gravy Platter. Our bill came out to $27 and change. Over $30 for breakfast for two with tip is too high. Good food but, I wont be back. Too many other places with comparable food with better pricing.

Weve been going here for the past year and a half, and this last visit we were sadly disappointed! SMC used to have the best sausage biscuits and gravy! Today, I could barely taste the sausage - or much flavor at all. The biscuits were tough and difficult to cut. And Im not sure what happened to the hash browns! They were brown and soggy - used to be golden and crispy. For such high prices, the quality is sadly gone down hill. And our service was lacking. Maybe the third location has spread things too thin?

Well prepared food. Fresh ingredients, outstanding plate presentation. Very efficient, friendly greeting and wait staff. Prices reasonable for huge servings. Innovative food combinations and new takes on old favorites. I highly recommended them for breakfast any day. Havent tried other meals yet. They do have offerings of meals for both vegan and celiac disease customers. They can be very busy but have a huge parking lot available and the wait is usually no longer than 10 minutes. Worth waiting for!
