Food is probably some of the better chinese food in the area, but they cant package their food worth a crap. Every single time, be it delivery, or take out, the bottom of the bag is soaked with juice off the food. they package it so that the opening to the bag is on top and fill it with these large to-go trays that spill because the only way to put them in the bag is to turn them sideways... I have told them to turn the bag sideways and put the food in that way, but they would rather leak everything every where so they have a handle to carry it by. Laziness at its finest. How hard is it to put food in a bag without spilling it? The bottom of the bag gets so soaked that your food will literally fall thru the bottom of the paper bag if you have to go very far. Its gotten to the point I just dont even want to order from them because I dont feel like picking it up off the floor, or having to go back for a second order because the first one fell out, or cleaning juice off the bottom of my tray before I set it in my lap or on my table. I have explained this to them in person before and they cannot get it right. Too dumb, or too lazy. It may be more efficient for your delivery driver, but it is creating a hassle for the customer.

***DO NOT EAT HERE*** So my sister and I came here to Golden Gate and the food was disgusting!! I didnt want to make a big fuss about it because we had our kids with us and they were all hungry so we wanted to make sure they at least ate something, but my son took one bite and said "its nasty mom". So I went ahead and told the waitress we didnt like it so she told the manager about our complaint and he laughed as if something was funny. So she came back to the table and said the only thing they can do is give us a discount on the food. Im heated but what was I to do and I literally took a bite from each thing I ordered and everything taste like dirty toliet water

This Place is Disgusting ! The Food allways Makes Me & My Kids SICK!!!! The Rice is allways BURNT ! They Can NEVER Send Me the Right Food & i have also found hair in My Meals!!! & They Dont even Clean The Tables were we eat at Right ! its so Disgusting ! i Have recently Gone This Past week & the people are so RUDE ! ALL Of Them , & The look so Unprofessional also working at the front counter , They have tattoos & piercings all over there body & there extremly rude ! This Place must be Shut down , its IMPOSSIBLE for them to STILL be Open!

I would give it a zero star if there was one. I went for lunch today and I order pork fried rice with sweet and sour chicken. Well I originally thought they gave me chicken fried rice cause thats what it looked like, but they said no, its pork and that their pork and chicken look alike!!!! What!??? Well either way it tasted nasty and salty! The sweet and sour chicken was ok except the sauce was awful. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this restaurant! I decided to try it out although I knew it was a 2.9 star. Never again!

I normally order once every couple of weeks no problem. Food is good and delivery was fast but I called late one evening and they said no more deliveries only walk ins. I live within 3 minutes of the restaurant so I went. Got inside and they said they were closed. I looked at both of the people working like I just called and you said you were taking walk ins. He just kept his nose in his paperwork and said, "Sorry man" in the most insincere way. They have lost my business for a while if not indefinitely.

Sometimes they have their bad days and other times great days. For the most part, they usually serve a pretty good meal, a generous portion, very tasty and youll usually want to come back. Delivery service is mediocre and they usually have some young impatient receptionist who takes orders and is not too welcoming, but you can tell its just some kid halfway doing her job like we did when we were kids ...lol...Overall, I like it and would recommend it if there is no other place that can top it :-)

This people are really rude. I called to place an order and the manager was yelling at me, my husband says that her name is Amie. Anyways, Long story short, theyre not as good as they were before, I remember that about a year ago a really nice and polite guy used to work over there, he was good on service. I hope he can come back otherwise they will loose some business, I really dont like to be treated like crap. Average Food Crapy Customer service Rude People, they hang the phone up on you.

So Im not sure if the owner has written the positive reviews here, but they are, to say the least, misleading. The food was horrible. We ordered the sweet and sour chicken and sesame chicken. It has this hint of "what the hell is that window cleaner taste" to the sauce. We ate a few bites, tasted that each others dish was as bad as our own, and then threw the rest out. Go somewhere else. If you dont, youll remember my review and wish youd heeded my advice. Have a good day.

I have been coming here since I was in middle school and I have NEVER had one complaint about their food, their service or their attitudes! Idk what all the bad reviews are about but I believe that some of you have come in during their busiest time, which is lunch, and expect 5 star service frm a mom & pop restaurant!! Love love LOVE Golden Gate and I can say me and my family will be loyal customers until they close the doors of Golden Gate

Our office ordered food from here and never again will we do so. We asked for delivery and were surprised on how fast they came due to it was raining and we had a few orders. The chicken look and tasted old, and a co-worker notice that there was legs in her food, not chicken legs but roach legs. DO NOT EAT HERE! it is nasty. We called and they didnt even want to give us a full refund until we let them know we were state employees.

Been going here for years since I was a child and Im 31 now never had a problem with them. Food has always been fresh and fast. Friendly staff but we mainly get delivery now due to our busy schedules. Food is still always hot and delicious. Maybe if youre getting rudeness you may be giving it... Whos to say?
