Had a terrible experience here. Manager was rude and food was poor. We ordered the beef brisket "family pack" and a rack of ribs for takeout. They say the family pack feeds four people. When we got it home and opened it, there was hardly any food there, it was seriously a joke. My wife and I are healthy athletic people, not overeaters, but there wasnt enough food there for the two of us, let alone the guests we had over. When I called the manager to complain, he literally said to me, "whatever dude." Nice attitude...the food was dry and cold anyway, we wouldnt have wanted any more of it. Wont be going back here.

I have eaten food at this restaurant 4 times. I found the ribs to be very fatty compared to other places and somewhat dry (2 visits). The pulled pork sandwich was fairly good and I would order it again (1 visit). The barbeque chicken was dry and I would never order it again (1 visit). Others who have eaten with me left without commenting on the food quality. I would put it in the category of fast food quality at best.

Ive been a customer for over 20 years and in my opinion it is one of the best barbecue places around. This is an old style barbecue place not one of the fancy ones but they cook on a real pit and their sauce is wonderful. The only thing missing is they serve it on plates instead of butcher paper.

Had the rib special. Ordered as a take out at 12 noon Feb 25, 2010. This had to be left over BBQ. It was so dry and crusty it was nasty. Threw it out and will never go back. They had to have known they were serving old dry meat.

Really cheap chopped barbecue sandwiches. I think I paid only $1.50. For the price, the sandwich was really good. The rest of the food there is average price, which makes the food seem overpriced since its mediocre.

Good food and quantity, same friendly service all these years. We love the coleslaw. And, if you want something for later, ask what they have frozen. You can get some wonderful deals. We like the chicken best.

They do not wear gloves when handling the food to give to patrons. Not even sure if they wash hands. Silently left as we were concerned about hygiene.
