Ordered a 3 meat plate - brisket , sausage, and pork ribs. My first impression wasnt good as it was right at noon and the place was literally empty. One additional customer came in the entire time I was there. The other thing I noticed was that the owner must be extremely cheap. Im used to barbecue places on a multiple meat plate that cut a certain amount that they eyeball and put it on your plate. This server meticulously cut and weighed each item. Im used to that when youre buying food by the pound but not on a combination plate. Additionally there were signs at the register of a $5 credit card minimum and the onions and pickles are even served to you by the server. You couldnt even get those items yourself. Regarding the food it was subpar. The sausage was the only good thing but Im sure they dont make their own. The brisket was chewy , average moistness. The ribs were good but could use more flavor in the smoke. Although the food came out of a warmer it was almost ice cold. The beans are really good. Again the potato salad I think was probably a premade side dish commercially bought. It definitely needed some mustard or dill added to it for a little bit more flavor. Overall the place is clean and quiet and when I left I was full but I wont return

Nice place - pretty much as good of Texas BBQ you will find without waiting in long lines and travelling all over. The brisket, ribs, and chicken were all very good. They do not have that "must go to type place" yet, but, they do it right, and have a nice friendly staff to serve you. Overall, I would say that the BBQ is much better than most in Central Texas, and the are trying hard to make it work. Prices are fair, and it is a good value. I go there 2-3 times a month, and I have been in BBQ business myself and know how hard it is. Their products are consistent and I would recommend them to anyone. I also would urge them to use more specials that for food and drink and promote them with printed and electronic signage for their great products. With some good marketing, they could really make some progress with using their great BBQ to draw ins sports crowds and get one of the beer vendors to give them special pricing to pass on to the drinking-sports-watching crowds. Plenty of parking and overall, I would rate them a 9 on 10 point scale. Cant go wrong.

Ordered the 3 meat and 2 sides through the postmates app. Delivery was quick and service was fine. However, all of the food was still cold. The chicken was refrigerator cold on the inside, still pink and bloody in the middle. Its like chef grabbed it out of the fridge and reheated the meat. The chicken was undercooked, lots of pink & still bloody, if the chef did take it out of a fridge undercooked and bleeding, makes you wonder about that fridge and how unsanitary it could be. Im never ordering from this place again if they think its okay to send out very cold and undercooked meat. Oh, and the sides were meh... I think the bread and pickle slices were the most tastey.

Sausage and turkey were decent (so long as they were dipped in the sauce), but everything else was awful. Brisket was dry, pork loin was dry, potato salad was lukewarm (and lacking flavor), coleslaw had no edge or identify to it, the tea was old and gross, and the banana pudding was just a styrofoam cup of Sams Club bulk pudding with no bananas, no whip cream, and no cookies. Place was 1,000x better under the previous British guy that owned the place (Jason something). Very disappointed with what has become of BBQ-512.

The turkey is absolutely amazing moist and delicious seriously some of the best turkey Ive had in life. That turkey is worth 5 stars however; The brisket is good but Rudys is a little better; The pulled pork was seemingly seasonless; my girl will cook and season it with another dish because im not wasting good meat its simply not seasoned enough; Mac And Cheese needs work something small could make it pop. The green beans need to change because they appear to be out of the can.

I tried this place out yesterday . One of the best BBQ Ive ever had. I dont usually eat brisket, but I decided to give it try. Man let me tell you, it was so tender that it melt in my mouth. The sausage was good and evenly cooked. The portions of the brisket and sausage was kind of small. The sides werent amazing. Staff were super friendly. The place was quiet. I highly recommend that you give this place a shot.

Got blank stairs when we ordered our food. Got Mac n cheese kids meals that they had to microwave. Frier was turned off at 630. Asked for cups and got more blank stairs then were told the coleslaw wasnt ready. We left. Most bizarre restaurant interaction Ive ever had. It was like a movie where criminals tie the owners up in the back and then pretend to be employees long enough to get you out.

Picked up some brisket, sausage, and ribs and brought them home the other day... all 3 are amazing! Perectly seasoned, with thick pink smoke rings, this is definitely my new favorite, and really close to home. Dont let the parking lot appearance deter you, its definitely worth checking it out. Cant wait to have it again!

Went here last week for the first time (lunch) . Man, their turkey literally melted in my mouth! I really like these smaller BBQ places because they surprise you with fine quality food at a really good price. The atmosphere was so-so, but that doesnt matter to me. Cleanliness and good food are what matters.

Just okay. Went for lunch and the place was empty. I figured that was a bad sign. Food was meh, service was slow, spent a little more than i expected. Texas has too much good BBQ to leave room for mediocre. Do your self a favor and go to Rudys, Pokey Joes or Smokey Mos (if downtown try the Iron Works!)

Terrible Service! Ill never order from this place again. The guy who took my order didnt know how to process a credit card over the phone, and he put me on hold for over 20 minutes. Very unprofessional. Ill just stick with Smokey Mos from now on. Their food is better anyway.

Tasteless thin-sliced brisket, tasteless dry pork loin, basic mac n cheese, horrible squash "casserole" consisting of squash, green beans, carrot slivers, cheese, and some cornbread dressing. Garbage, basically. Rudys isnt too far away, so do yourself a favor.....

I ordered the three meat plate with pork ribs, brisket, and sausage. The ribs were rubbery and could not be pulled apart by hand. The brisket was bland. The sausage was good, but not good enough to salvage the meal. Overall an embarrassment to Texas BBQ.

I would go by this place whenever I visited the Chinese food place in the same plaza, but today I was craving BBQ and this, no-frills, place did not disappoint! Ill definitely come again and bring my friends and family!

Best potato salad ever!! Brisket and sausage were good... Moist brisket wasnt as moist as we typically get at Rudys, but was still good. We were there over lunch and they definitely werent busy. We plan to come back!
