Ive been eating here for 8 years at the Georgetown location. Its always been the best Tex-mex, until tonight. I havent been there in a little over a year. We ordered over the phone, my friend picked it up, got home and they had sent the spinach enchilada lunch special, at 8:00 at night!?! I ordered the extra mushrooms and shrimp. Those, all 4 of them, were dropped on top of my one enchilada. They dont have refried beans anymore I guess? I got a small cup of nasty, spicy ranch beans. Gross. I wont be back. I called, they made me another enchilada. Now my dinner is cold. Yeah, what happened to the cook? Oh, and she told me on the phone they serve lunch all night long! It says on the menu they serve lunch til 4:00 pm. People make mistakes, I understand that, but I guess Im getting old and am tired of it.

We ate at the Casa Ole in Georgetown, Texas today for the first. I got the Casa Ole combination so I could try all the main Mexican food dishes. I ate most everything on my two large plates so it wouldnt be fair to say I didnt like the food. However, growing up in Austin eating a lot of TexMex, there was something unusual about the taste. Im not sure, but it seemed like the cheese enchiladas were made with flour tortillas. Id not come across that before, and only ate half the serving. I didnt care for the tamale. I ate everything else. We both enjoyed the salsas, one red and one green. My wife had the stuffed avocado and said it was excellent. The service was just good. Someone swept the floor nearby into the kitchen area that made me wonder where the dust would land.

Had a bad feeling about this place as soon as we walked in the door. Hostess seemed to have no idea what she was doing ... Finally got to a booth that was surprisingly clean. Waiter barely introduced himself (if he did, he was so soft-spoken, we wouldnt have heard him anyway) and rushed us into ordering -- ZERO PERSONALITY and an obvious want to be anywhere but here. The Fajita Nachos full of what tasted like overly salted, processed canned meat. Chili on the tameles was definitely from a can and the fajita tacos were exactly the same meat as the nachos, queso tasted processed also. The ONLY decent thing on the table was the chips and salsa, which Im sure came from a can, too.

We used to love Casa Ole...Unfortunately our last visit pretty much sealed the deal on this particular branch. My wife got sick that evening with a stomach bug, which we later found out was probably a little more than coincidence. Doing a little research we found out that several of our friends have gone to eat at this branch and have immediately gotten sick. Not to mention that the service was a little lacking as we had a new waitress. We gave them some grace for that! Everyone has to start somewhere. However, it could have been better. Hard to say if we will go back, but at the current time I guess well go other places.

What a bunch of weirdos. I felt like I was in a horror movie waiting to be stabbed from a chef lurking around the corner. The staff acted friendly but it felt forced and strange like they were zombies. Their green sauce tastes awful and reminds me of a special concoction a beauty supply would carry for hair care. And to make matters worse they said it was their best homemade sauce. My husband and I ordered the top recommend foods and both almost threw up (not joking). We felt sick and very lazy afterwards and didnt even finish our food. If this place has any hope of recovering they better address their food quality.

The Margeritas are the best! Has A nice sports bar this holds over 50 people and is divided from the rest of the restaurant by a couple of door. Great place for watching sports on their large flatscreens! Food is great, yeah sometimes served sloppy but I like it. When you go there, bring your friends, other customers and staff are friendly and you will have a good time!

Christy was awesome. She made our experience perfect. I saw these reviews and I was very nervous. But she was the perfect waitress. She came back frequently our food was hot and just the way I remember it as a kid. Then of course the chips and hot sauce for on point. We were so pleased she got a 50% tip.

Just walked out after 20min waiting for a hostess at the front desk to seat us. Have eaten here several times and like the food and the staff, but tonight was inexcusable. We were seen 4 different times by 2 different waitresses standing at the front desk and......nothing

We went here for a meetup, and were delighted with the food. Classic Tex-Mex, of course. But so tasty, and big servings and such friendly service! Not fancy, and maybe not something special, but we will definitely return when were in the area. :-)

Worst service ever from any restaurant. We never even seen a waiter or waitress the hostess was the only one who helped us. After sitting for an hour we finally left. It took 30 minutes to get queso. The manager acted as if she could care less.

I may be partial to this restaurant, since I grew up in Pasadena, home of the original. This is a favorite gathering spot for me and my friends. Great margaritas, addictive salsa and green sauce, and I love their spinach enchiladas.

It took 45 minutes to get our food... it was cold when we got it .... salty as well... The table across from us walked out..... really? We will not be returning to Casa Ole ever again... serious cooking and management issues.

We were told there would be a 25 minute wait. Walked around the restaurant there were 15 open tables and 6 booths. Very lazy staff. Management needs to get there butt in gear. Rude hostesses. This was a Friday night. Come on!
