I love sushi and sashimi...and this place is awesome! The food is to die for, superb and absolutely wonderful...fresh as it can be, really delicious. Their menu has a wide selection...and you can never go wrong with any food you order from it. The staff is knowledgeable, attentive and genuinely really helpful. I enjoyed the rolls, sashimi, appetizers and entree we ordered...yes, my friends and I were all full and completely satisfied when we left Sakana. I would highly recommend this place to everyone and anyone! Im definitely going back for more great food, excellent service and warm, fun atmosphere. This place isnt just another sushi place...its a rare find, one of a kind...so yall come check it out for yourselves and Im pretty sure youll love it too!

We had a group of 6 and made our 1st visit to the recently opened Sakana Japenese Cuisine on Lebanon Rd in Frisco.(Lebanon & Dallas North Tollway). Our group ordered about 6 different Sushi rolls and they were all extremely fresh, tasty, and delicious. The chef (Alan) recently was the head chef at Kotta (D Magazine Top Sushi Rest) and moved on to open this quaint small "jewel" . It is fantastic and it may be the best sushi I have had in the Dallas area. All sushi rolls are under $15 and are incredible. I highly recommend.

Sushi comes out fresh, tightly rolled, and quickly. Great service, great atmosphere, and, most importantly, some kick ass food. Sushi isnt all they have, the rest is pretty awesome. Five stars only because thats the limit Google set. The guy who said no one spoke English is an idiot, the head Sushi chef is always there and working, there isnt a person there who isnt both friendly and well spoken.

Just another sushi joint. Kroger has better sushi. Crazy to open across the street form another one. Will kill them both but the larger one will probably survive overall. Fish was average. Price is what I expected. Really nothing stands out with this place. I wont come back that is for sure.

Alan truly is a 5 star chef when it comes to Japanese Cuisine. His style made Kotta what it was and now with him leading this new venture I am sure it will be a tremendous success as well! Looking forward to many great sushi nights at Sakana!!!!

Fantastic sushi every time!!!! The staff is great and the Super White Tuna is like the cotton candy of sushi. Very casual atmosphere. Favorite sushi joint in Frisco.

@ Jeff you probably never had sushi anywhere else beside Kroger if you think they have better sushi.... and i heard that they sold Kotta because Sakana open up
