Went for my fathers birthday and it was possibly the worst birthday dinner he has ever had. He specifically wanted to eat here, hadnt ever been to this Red Lobster. And he wishes we had gone elsewhere. We were seated and left without drinks or bread biscuits for about 15 minutes. I had to get up myself and get our table silverware and napkins because our waiter was nowhere to be seen. Our food, once ordered took 35 minutes to get to the table. Many things asked for were forgotten, drinks and condiments, and I had to get up and ask other waiters for them myself. About 3 times. And once my father did, the very own birthday boy The food was...edible...the manager Jeff came around and asked us how the meal had been and my dad commented that it was his birthday and that he had been very disappointed in the overall experience. To which Jeff, the manager, very nicely gave us a gift card to use in hopes that we would be coming back....if we were ever to come back it would be because he clearly knows how to run a reataurant. He left an outstanding impression on us that the rest of the staff could gain a lot from learning from. Outstanding man! I told our waiter Luke that it was my dads birthday and asked for a birthday dessert for him...which was never brought to him. I finally just got up and asked for the check to be brought to the table. It took some time to find my waiter until I saw him goofing around with a female coworker hand feeding him food at the kitchen door...I continued to wait while he ate the food he had just put in his mouth and come out of the kitchen again. When he saw me he said he was just about to bring the check to me...when I reviewed the check he had charged me full adult price for 2 kids drinks and another drink my dad had asked for, taken 2 sips out of, and let Luke, our waiter, know he hadnt liked...when I asked him about this he said "well yeah." And said he could ask for the manager to take them off? Im guessing he couldnt have done it himself? He then went to another computer with me chasing after him like a puppy trying to give him my card to pay...and after he ran my card and I asked him why he hadnt taken the drinks off he just said "oh. I can take them off if you want?" Honestly at that time I was just so disappointed that $8 extra dollars charged seemed like a small price to be able to just leave, unhappy as a family and dissatisfied with my dads own birthday dinner. If the restaurant had been full I wouldve understood maybe the tardiness. But it wasnt. And the actual service had no excuse, I understand that the waiters are young and inexperienced here but that is a factor that could cost the restaurant many customers... Maybe it wasnt the best day for our waiter, maybe well have better luck next time with a different one? Im not trying to dissuade anyone from eating here. Simply sharing my expeirience.

My credit card was charged before I ever approved the amount nor signed!!!! (How is this even legal?).The kicker: waitress mistakenly gave me someone elses check so it was three times the amount of my bill! She reassured me that it would be credited back immediately. Its been five days and I am still waiting on them to reimburse me $63.65. I have contacted the manager and basically he told me that he agreed that it was a terrible mistake by the waitress... and that he would talk with her about it. Yay, that really helps me. His answer to my complaint that I never got to approve nor sign in advance: Red Lobster and others like Olive Garden do run the credit cards in advance of customers signing the bill and that I had a legitimate complaint and perhaps he would bring it to the attention of the home office if there were more complaints but for now Id just have to wait until the bank posts the refund. Well, I didnt make them wait for payment for my meal, I promptly paid on time and even tipped because I know people need their money. Shame on you Red Lobster Frisco. I wont ever be dinning here again. 9/9/11 I received my refund today (6 days later). Actually the charge just disappeared. Thanks for MY money back Red Lobster.

Our wait was 40 minutes on a Saturday night, which was expected. We sat at the bar and watched their TVs until the buzzer went off. We were seated and our waitress was Taylor. I ordered the Seaside Trio and my wife got the broiled tilapia. Lowlights: - Wife ordered Green beans and was brought broccoli. - Tilapia showed up as salmon. What? - Once replacement tilapia showed up it was almost inedibly overdone. - Spoke with the manager TWICE, and she made apologies, but did not offer to comp anything on the ticket or offer incentives to come in again. Dont get me wrong, I have no problem paying for the food we ordered and ate. My broccoli was a bit overdone, but other than that, my meal was pretty good. I just think that if the manager knows we had an awful experience, shed come over with a "Next appetizer is on us" attitude. Yes? Anyway, we tipped 20% and left never to return. (OK, maybe well give it a year and see what comes of it with a change in staff)

Went there recently on a Saturday night. They seated us and everyone that came in after us along the wall under the AC vents. The entire middle was empty. The AC had to be turned on as cold as they can make it. The service was horrible, we had the guy with the dreads and his attitude was just as cold as the AC, if not colder. This guy was reaching his arms in our faces and over our food to clear the table and refill drinks etc. The staff grumbled every time more customers came in, it was approx. 9:45PM and they close at 11PM (you are still open for business). Long story short, we lived here for many years and been to that location several times, however I cannot imagine going to that location again. It was so bad other customers in the parking lot asked each other how was their service. We all agreed it was a horrible experience.

You know I read all of these reviews and I hate people complain about service or how they got the wrong meal but those people need to shut up cause Red Lobster uses the finest qualities and since they do that there going to have a lot of customers on their plate so which means every weekend they will have a rush hour no matter what and when rush hours happened you will attend to make mistakes and mess up so people give the workers a break and stop getting mad at them you dont work their so you dont know what it is like doing that everyday just to make ends meet so all of you say the customer is right but in my world the customer is both right and wrong and a lot of the comments I am hearing is wrong

Meh, is the first word that comes to mind when thinking about our Red Lobster experience. We were seated quickly for a party of eight on a Saturday for lunch. Noticing some of the lobster plates being served around us, I wasnt swayed to spend upwards of $20 for a meal that wasnt guaranteed to rock my socks off. I settled for the Sailors Platter which seemed to at least offer a bit of variety for me to try. It wasnt terrible, but not amazing either. Service was underwhelming. I never like to complain when dining with a large group, but for eight people more than one basket of biscuits at a time was expected.
