WORST EMPLOYER AND MANAGERS ON PLANET!!!! I am writing this review for my son who is a sacker at the store. He has been working there for 3 months now and after 2 months of working there had a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses stolen from him out of a locker that was inoperable. There are about 20 Lockers in the break room and at least 4 of them are inoperable and have been so since at least this incident. Nobody has done a thing about it and this incident occurred over 3 weeks ago...not a verbal report, written report, nothing! These sunglasses where a birthday gift from my sons girlfriend who had to work an extra job to make the almost $200 it cost to pay for them. When I confronted the management at first they tried to call other people who my son reported this incident and this was the first they had heard about it according to the management indicating that whoever my son report this to did nothing and just sat on it. I am writing this because if he writes this review he will get fired for writing a bad review. The store is fine in terms of products. However, if you have a child who you want to have a job, do not look to Market Street for employment for your child. The management showed me the palm of their hand basically, did not want to work with me, had an attitude that displayed a insensitivity to the loss, and a lack of respect toward me. They refused to take any responsibility for anything, include a lack of security cameras or maintaining lockers whose sole purpose is to safeguard employee equipment while they are workinh. Management basically referred me to their corporate office to fill out paperwork so that they can file an incident. I called the police and reported the incident which is a Class B theft because its over $100 in value.

Consistently disappointed with this location. Weve gone to the McKinney and Allen Market Street locations for years. After moving closer to the Frisco store, we naturally assumed that this location would be like the others. Its not. The food is not nearly as good. In the hot food area, weve found them out of both kinds of chicken and other entrees and been told that none would be made for another hour or so. Oddly, the sides are often sitting dead in the heat lamps - you can see the macaroni has gone hard and that the gravy has a thick film on it, the vegetables look completely dried out, etc.. These things have happened on several different occasions - its not an isolated incident. They need to get the food managers at the McKinney and Allen locations to train the staff at the Frisco location. Also, havent found the staff to be as friendly or helpful. I was checking out the soups one day (another disappointment as the soups at the other locations are always good) and they were totally out in one. The employee checking on them told me that they came out of a can, but he doubted they would refilled soon. Hardly any selection in the vitamins and herbs section, no one to assist. Seriously not up to standard in terms of Market Street.

The service was phenomenal this time. The first time I came here, I was not really impressed. This was the first time in the store and they would not honor the coupon that I received in the mail. I left my groceries and walked out. My husband went and they honored his coupon for his groceries though. I decided to give it a second try and I was really impressed this time though. There is definitely not as much selection as Whole Foods...it is about the same selection of the natural foods as a smaller Sprouts. However, when checking out they offered to walk our groceries to the car. I decided to not take them up on their offer and when we got to the parking lot a second person offered to help us out. When I had my snack, the juice was expired by about a week. I called them up and they refunded my money for the juice when I brought in the juice and my receipt and took the rest of the juice that was expired off the shelf. They were extremely nice and apologetic about the hassle. This is definitely a grocery store I will visit again!

The pharmacy staff is beyond great. They are friendly, try to remember their customers and families as well as make every effort to keep the costs down whenever possible. Being open 24 hours is icing on the cake. As far as the rest of the store, I have always been greeted and offered assistance by multiple employees. The management staff is visible and pays attention to daily activities. The ONLY criticism that I have is that Safeway,, as the parent organization, pushes its presence in the store too heavily. They dont seem to understand that Texans prefer little input from foreign entities. So reminding us that the stores are no longer locally owned hinders growth. I will pay extra for items that are stimulating the local economy rather than less to send money out of state. It may not make sense to people outside of Texas, but as a 7th generation Texan with a large extended family, I can assure you that it is very true.

Great place to shop! The employees are so friendly and I am always being spoken to throughout the store and asked if I need help finding anything. I am pleased with the quality and selection of their meat, produce, bakery and deli, just to name a few. They have a great selection of organic, natural and gluten free items. I often eat lunch there or grab a coffee before I shop. I have been a Market Street customer since they came into the Dallas metroplex. I am always disappointed with customer service if I have to run by one of the competitors stores. Market Street really spoils you with the highest quality service that is hard to find in the workplace today. One example of them going beyond on service..I took a picture of some cupcakes I wanted made for a baby shower. They made them for me and they looked just like the picture I brought them. Not only were they cute but they tasted great!

I once LOVED this store because it supported my lifestyle of organic, gluten free, healthy choices. The associates were fun and friendly. Since ownership changed, I have watched my favorite grocery store slowly turning into Albertsons. While they still carry organic, gluten free and healthy choices, it is no longer the focus of the assortments. Market Street would have never put sugary sweet cereals at the front door nor put big brand name chemical based detergents on the front cover of their ad but those good days are gone. The store has lost its unique personality and diverse selection of products. The best I can do is hope that Whole Foods decides to build close by with all of the new development in the area.

The best grocery option in north Frisco, hands down. Realistically, its a 3.5 though. It fits somewhere between Krogers and Whole Foods (better quality than Krogers, better prices than Whole Foods). Biggest problem is the size/layout; it could be argued that its too popular for its own good, but the poor layout is also the culprit. Service is almost always good, and food quality is almost always just as high. The crowdedness is really the biggest factor dropping this off a full star (dont even try to come on a Sunday mid-afternoon!). Half a star off for a produce section thats hit or miss, and more than one instance where apples were labelled one price but rang up as a higher amount.
