Went here around 9:30 am on a weekday. Its a family business with additional staff, so theyre creating jobs, and its good to support small businesses. I ordered the veggie skillet with scrambled eggs, which I shared with my toddler. 3 yr old Daughter had Mikey Mouse pancake, which is very large, and she ate the whole thing. Good portion sizes, large pancakes. Very filling. I couldnt finish my meal, so I had leftovers to enjoy later. 4 stars because I had to get my kids something to occupy them while we waited, which wasnt very long, but still would have been nice. Also, my coffee was almost $3, which is pricy compared to similar restaurants. The mug was large but still, thats a little steep. Servers were very friendly. You can tell they want their customers to be happy. My check was a little under $20 before tip. They offer 10% off if you bring your receipt back . May be back since its closer to me than LePeep, their neatest competitor. However my favorite place is still original Pancake House in Plano.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!!! My sons food was served first and my food did not come out until 10 minutes later. The waitress never refilled our glasses. The owner (I guess) came by and asked how was everything I simply replied well its okay since I had to wait 10 minutes after my kids were served. I asked if that was their policy and he said no we had 4 people call in today. No apology, no offer to take something off my bill nothing!!!!! When it was time to pay I HANDED my credit card to the cashier (whom I believe is his daughter) and she swiped my card and put my card and receipt on the counter. I said to her word of advice when someone hands you a card, hand it back to them! She laughed and I was like did I make a joke???? I dont think so! I will never go back and I repeat NEVER! Dont waste your time or money much better breakfast spots in Frisco!!!!!!!!!!!

Im not sure where everyone else was eating but we will never be back again. First off, it took a long time to just order. After we finally ordered, it took FOREVER for our food to come out. Everyone that came in after us had their food and were leaving before we could even get the waitress to come over and acknowledge us. Once the food finally arrived, my husbands omlete was very, very, very well done and not even the correct omlete. His pancakes were either pre-made or had been made quite some time before because they were hard. After complaining to the waitress about how long it was taking and then telling her that it wasnt even to right food, no one tried to make things right. If I could give less than one star, I would.

Awful experience. My "healthy meal" was literally individual rows of raw spinach, pieces of deli turkey, mushrooms, and 2 small eggs for $10 - not even a scramble or mixed together and something I could buy at the store for way less. The server didnt check on us for over a half hour so I couldnt order something else. When she returned and I told her it wasnt what I expected and didnt like it she responded "are you serious?" with attitude rather than apologizing and ask if Id like something else. The manager only offered 50% off for a meal I didnt eat. Really horrible experience.

If you like good old fashioned, fresh and no frills kind of food- this is your place! They have a great breakfast, lunch selection and everything we had was fresh and delicious from the pancakes, to the eggs, to the thick juicy bacon. Feel good type of place that was just a great find. Its kinda small so selfishly I hope it doesnt catch too much popularity for fear that there might be.... Waiting time! Service was great although our server had not much of a personality. Place was very clean and the cost is very low for what you get.

It all started at the door. Theres a sign that says please wait to be seated. owner comes out hands us menus and says sit wherever. Ordered the mac and cheese off the kids menu and was delivered kraft mac and cheese from the box. Not that kraft mac and cheese is bad just expected more. The rest of the food consisted of food from a frozen box served still cold, sad.... Fresh oj was watered-down but tasteful. Not worth the money.

My family of 7 was VERY impressed. We got take-out and everyone loved what they had (of course I had to sample each one myself). The Baja omelette, Rina burger, crepes, and french toast were all excellent and perfectly prepared. And the homemade broccoli cheese soup blew away my wife and me--its a must try. This cafe is a welcome addition to our neighborhood, is very conveniently close by, and we will be regular patrons.

I also went there thinking it was the old Italian restaurant, decided to stay and try breakfast for my daughter and lunch for me...there pancakes are the best I have ever had, and there chicken Alfredo was also the best I have ever had....this has the best one of the best place I have ever ate at....not the fanciest but best tasting..peroid...if I was 40 lbs lighter I would eat there every day....staff was great also

I went here thinking it was still Giovannis, but found out it is a new family owned cafe. I decided to check it out because they said they still had some Italian dishes. It was great! Not only was the food amazing, but so were the staff. They offered us a free soup just to try it, I thought that was super sweet. I hope this place makes it!! I will definitely be coming back.

Great olde style cafe/diner, attentive staff but smaller venue. Good options for breakfast or lunch. Good coffee with refills. Childrens menu and portions. Fresh pie and cake desserts as well as fresh squeezed orange or grapefruit. Staff are very attentive and helpful. Reasonable priced food and drinks.

Great food! Service was excellent. I had the hand carved Ribeye..ymmm and it was fantastic! My daughter had the grilled cheese and she ate every bite! Tried the fresh homemade soup of the day and it was perfect. Great atmosphere. Will definitely be returning!!

Holy cow!! This place is a hidden gem in Frisco. We only discovered it because of an awesome Groupon deal. More than worth what we paid!! Delicious food and excellent service. Very impressed and will be returning. Thank you so much.

Good food. Our pancakes arrived cold, but our coffee cup was never empty and the portions are huge. We had the chicken fried chicken breakfast, which our waitress recommended, and it was really good.

I love the convenient location on Preston. I ordered a kids pancakes, and they create a very fun and delicious mickey mouse with whip cream! They give you big and thick bacon strips! Yesssss

Our experience was terrible today. Long wait for food. My crepes were burned. My husband didnt receive his pancake that comes with the meal. I dont feel like going back to this place again.

Food was great kinda like mom cooked. Price was fair for breakfast compared to other establishments in the area. Amount of food was very surprising 1 plate could have fed my whole family.
