Summer Moon is originally from Austin and has delicious specialty coffee. Not a fan of their drip coffee which is sad because thats one of the things theyre known for. Theyre drinks are very sweet so Id suggest going for a "half" of what ever youre getting, unless you enjoy the taste of a little coffee with your cup sugar. They are always packed and youll be lucky to find a seat. Although they have a few tables for outdoor sitting which is pleasant when the weather is good. They have an awning covering above their outdoor sitting in case youd like to sit in the rain if thats what floats you canoe. Something I really like is the fact that its in the heart of downtown Frisco. The interior is a very contemporary yet hipster rustic look. Its actually very relaxing. If youre in the area you should try it out.

So we have been Summer moon loyalists since living in Austin. When walking into Ikea months ago by random chance I ran into Greg the owner of the Frisco location who told me and my wife he was opening soon. Short of stalking them my wife and I have been watching Facebook, emailing Greg and driving by slowly the last ones a joke....kind of. Anyway the place finally opened and is as AMAZING as the original location in South Austin. I highly recommend coming in and getting a cup of coffee.

I have been here twice and both times my drinks were sub par for a specialty coffee shop. I do like the espresso, deep earthy and slight fig/fruit sweetness. However the espresso was the only thing that was decent, the quality of the mocha and cappuccino was pretty bad. The mocha tasted like Hersheys syrup with molten milk and barely any espresso, and the cappuccino was too hot as well with far too much dry foam.

Hands down the BEST coffee I have ever had. The half moon is my jam! I can get pretty packed in there especially now that its summer so it isnt super ideal for working just because you definitely arent guaranteed a spot, but I still go there to work anyway because the atmosphere is refreshing. Haha! The staff is also super lovely & all seem to enjoy working there!

Superb coffee with an incredibly friendly staff! The "Moon Milk" is their own sweetened milk that goes in certain drinks and it tastes amazing. I will add that even a little of the Moon Milk goes a long way! I had 1/4 Moon Milk in my Nitro Cold Brew and it was just perfect! Loved the exposed brick combined with industrial furniture. Will be back for sure!

Yesterday was my first time experiencing their coffee and I will never be the same. I got a half winter moon with 2% milk, and honestly, it was some of the best iced coffee Ive had in a long time. Will defiantly be returning and bringing friends!! Would recommend to anyone who is tired of mediocer coffee. A beautiful gem in downtown frisco!

This coffee is fantastic! The nitro brew is on pointttt! Its a must have! I usually have my nitro brew straight up, but their moon milk is delicious! The customer service was friendly and let us taste the moon milk before we added it to our nitro--it tastes like liquid vanilla ice cream! CHECK THIS PLACE OUT NOW!!

What a gem in the heart of downtown Frisco, Texas! If youre a coffee fanatic in a classy environment then youre in for a real treat. Sit, relax and enjoy the variety of coffee that they hand roast then top it off with their home made sweet cream. I recommend the half moon if youre a latte lover.

I got a summer glacier java chip and vanilla. I have been 2 times to Summer Moon and their drinks are quality!! I gave them 4 stars not because of the quality of what they sell, but due to waiting in line for almost half a hour. Overall, really good coffee house just be prepared to wait!

First time here and I love the place. The staff is friendly and the people here are as well. I got the Iced Mocha Moon and it was very tasty. My fiancé got the Espresso Milkshake and she loved her drink as well. Probably my favorite coffee shop Ive been to in the DFW area.

Wow this place is awesome! Great vibe in old downtown Frisco with plenty of seating options. Even a little kids nook with books and toys so parents can enjoy. Their secret "moon milk" is incredible and was easily one of the best drinks Ive had.

This place has a terrific atmosphere and lots of great coffee-related goodies. I love the clever names for various beverages (ask for a "007"!), and the staff is always friendly and helpful. Great place for meetings, too! Strongly recommended!

Every coffee shop should be like this place. Calm atmosphere with a wonderful kids area replete with toys, and a kiddie corral (in a good way). Very personable and knowledgeable staff. This place makes me want to leave my hometown.

Great atmosphere small coffee shop. The wood roasted coffee is amazing. I recommend picking up a bag of Inferno beans for a nice dark roast at home and use a Chemex to brew it and get the OO7 for a pick me up!

The macaroons were delicious and they offered a variety of flavors. The moon milk was good even though I dont normally like sweet drinks. If you have a similar taste profile I recommend a 1/4 or 1/2 moon.
