Came here because of a Scoutmob deal we found, looking for a light dinner. Coming in I was a bit confused because its a cafe, though more of a restaurant, but also a chocolate and candy shop, and also sells some souvenirs..... Anyway, I ended up getting the tilapia sandwich, and had some of the cafe style crackers while I wanted. Average wait time for the food, even though there was really no one there, but once arrived I noticed why. The fish tasted fresh and had clearly just been cooked, as well as the lettuce and onions on it being fresh. The foccaccia bread was warm and soft, almost toasty. And I dont know much about thousand island dressing, but I liked theirs. Also, got a chocolate truffle cake to go! Which was delicious and rich in flavor, and just the right amount of moist. Overall, pretty tasty place, might come back if Im in the neighborhood.

The service was a little slow and dry. The food was ok but not outstanding. If I go back Ill be sure to completely read the full description of the meal before I order. Ill also be careful to describe meticulously what I want added. Ordering from the menu in a place as well laid out and with the price point of Neuhaus Cafe should render a flavorful meal by default. I ordered a Kosher hotdog with fries. I got a bun, a "dog" in it and half a potatoes worth of fries. It was luke warm. I think their customers expect more and deserve more. I didnt try any, but the chocolates and other candies looked good.

The food was mediocre at best, the service was slow, the price was expensive for the quality and what you get! I paid $16 for lettuce chicken and dressing that looked like it came from Mc Donalds. When I asked the owner about it he said "they charge that much at Houstons and other restaurants so I can charge that much here and people will pay it". I personally dont see how a salad that is of equal quality to fast good can be compared to 4 star restaurant.

Shockingly atrocious service and food! I ordered a corned beef reuben and was literally brought corned beef and bread, no Russian dressing, no cheese, no kraught (this is after waiting 45 minutes for a sandwich.) I have been on a quest to find the best reuben in DFW. Unfortunately Im confident I have found the worst!

We live in Lakewood and eat out a LOT but rank Neuhaus among our top picks in Dallas. Delicious food -- salads, sandwiches, desserts to die for; an unpretentious atmosphere and a good wait staff to boot. Youll love the omelets but dont come Sunday morning and beat us to our table:) Susan

I love this place! I usually get the veggie quesadillas and theyre amazing! I also love their sides. Since Im vegetarian they come in handy. The staff is great as well :) I would recommend this place. Its a cute cafe and good prices.

Friendly enough staff....however, if splitting a sandwich....additional pickle and handful (almost) of chips expect a small sandwich to split and $6. extra on your ticket.
